Once the newly married couple left the room, they made their way to their bedroom and exchanged their own private vows to each outer. Once they are done, they grab the traditional Jedi and Sith cloaks Rey made and their lightsabers and head outside for the next event.

Everyone gathered outside in a circle by the time Ben and Ray made it to the location, they slowly worked their way to the center as people congratulated them. Once in the middle, they ignited their sabers. A hush went over the crowd. Instead of a first dance, Ben and Rey decided to do a lightsaber duel. They duel each other with everything they had as if it was a real fight, after fifteen minutes of dueling, they turn off and drop their lightsabers to the ground. While the audience was still in shock, they removed the cloaks and put them back on the inside out revealing the underside color. Everyone looked on at the grey color in surprise and not understanding what was going on, as Rey picked up the lightsabers Ben started to explain, "We have come to the understanding that there is no light without the dark. Just as there is no dark without light. Therefore, we have decided we will be Grey Jedi. Fighting for neither side, only balance. Making this day not just our wedding day, or the day we have officially become a small family but also the return of the Gray Jedi Order." Rey rejoins his side handing him his lightsaber. "Please join us in celebrating all of the wonderful occasions. There will be dancing and lots of food in the grand ballroom." Rey continued. However; instead of cheers this time they were met with silence, that is if you did not count the shouts and cheers from their little Sun.

'I can't believe you just did that in front of our daughter Ben' 'Don't worry love, I warned my mother and she covered her eyes' Ben was pleased by how he was able to make his wife squirm. He held the garter like a sling shot and released toward the group of single men. To everyone's shock, it hit Poe in the head making him turn pink. Ben and Rey couldn't help but laugh though due to the knowledge they held of Poe and Finn's current relationship, even though the somewhat new couple had not gone completely public with it yet. Almost everyone left shortly after that, leaving Ben and Rey to celebrate with the ones closest to them. After a few hours, and another heartbreaking goodbye to their daughter Sun, everyone went their own ways. Ben though couldn't help but get excited for the next part of the evening as he squeezed his wife's hand and pulled her close once more.
