Pronto walked out of the garage on his donkey mecha and Eli came out on foot, before stopping for a moment.

He looked back and saw that Eli was not catching up with him.

He held up his blaster and looked at the empty blaster.

Burpy jumped into the empty barrel that Eli was holding.

Burpy grinned as Eli placed the barrel into the ammo feed. Eli pulled the trigger and Burpy was shot out. Burpy transformed and flew a few rounds, leaving a trail of flame. Pronto was very impressed and Eli was amazed too himself.

Burpy flew back and turned back into a slug and landed on Eli's hand. The trails of flames then died down. Eli got on his mecha beast and he was baffled.

Pronto look at Eli in amazement.

The mecha was running at a high speed. Eli was riding on a mecha for the first time and he felt like he was about to fall off. He gained better control when he got used to riding a mecha. On their way to the tournament, they passed by some slugs and they all looked up towards Eli and Burpy.

Burpy chirps and waves at the slugs.

A flatulorhinkus slug farted from behind Pronto and laughs.

The Shanes have a lot of secrets, but non of them is as important as where you come from. No one can know about the surface, Eli. There are too many dangers on both sides. These two worlds must be kept separate.

Eli and Pronto passed by a trail while slow-walking, where they saw a strong man lifting up a skinnier and smaller boy who was very scared of him, threatening him.

Eli then drove his mecha back while Pronto continued talking, not knowing that Eli had left.

Eli drove his mecha back to the trail where he saw them.

Eli lifts his blaster and aimed it at the back of the man. He raised both his hands up when he heard the sound of the blaster.

The boy then quickly stood up and scrambled off.

The man laughed loudly and turned around.

He then crossed his arms and leaned against the vehicle, clearly unafraid of Eli.

The man then rushes towards Eli and crashed into him with his side, causing Eli to fall backwards and drop his blaster.

The man then grabs his own blaster and pushed a barrel into the ammo feed, then aims it at Eli. An arachnet appeared from behind, throwing a web at the man. The web wrapped him up and he fell to the ground. Eli quickly stood up and grabbed his blaster, aiming at the man again.

He quickly turned around and to his surprise, it was not Pronto who saved him, but a girl with pigtails.

She then rode off in her mecha beast, a BOOM-R model, a blue-purple-orange saber-tooth tiger.

Pronto appeared from the other side.

Pronto then grabbed his blaster from behind and both of them aimed their blasters at the man, who was getting out of the web.

The man lifted the web up and stood up.

He laughed again and left. Eli and Pronto got on their mechas and continued towards the tournament.

He then posed proudly and lifted his head up.
