Burpy transformed and flew up a tunnel. Through a maze of tunnels, it flew into a sewer and up the manhole cover. It remained in the sky for a while magnificently and searched for Will Shane's house. Burpy changed back to a slug and landed on the ledge of Eli's room window, which was open.
Eli was awoken by the sound of the zoom of the flame trail from Burpy and sat up, surprised.
Burpy tried to explain but Eli did not understand sluggish. Even so, he could still guess what Burpy was trying to say.
Burpy jumps off the window ledge to the floor, hopped over to the carpet and went under it. Eli followed and lifted the carpet up. He saw that Burpy was standing on what seemed like a trap door. He slid open the door and saw a metal box with the Shane symbol on it. He slid open the box and found a letter from his dad.
Itsaid,
Dear Eli, if you're reading this, it means I've fallen protecting Slugterra. It's one of the many risks of being a Shane. A risk you will someday face yourself, if you decide to follow in my footsteps. A long line of Shanes has made the trip down to Slugterra. If you do choose to go, remember our deal.
Five years passed. Eli finally fifteen and was ready to go down to Slugterra. He left his house and headed for the manhole which Burpy had gotten out of previously. He dropped his bag down and he and Burpy jumped in.
I've told you all about my adventures in Slugterra, and you'll have plenty of your own. Getting down there is gonna be the easy part. Getting back up, that will be a lot harder for you. If you choose to go, it will be a one-way trip until you learn the secret of how to get back home. I know we've always talked about making your first journey underground together, but you'll have to do this one on your own. I've told you so much about Slugterra but it only scratches the surface of what you'll see.

Eli made his way through the sewers until he found a door, and it had the Shane symbol. He opened the door and saw an elevator with a chair that would take them down and got on it.
You'll be travelling over 100 miles form the surface of the earth to a place only a handful of topsiders have seen. You'll be safe inside the carriage. Just, hold on tight.
Burpy chirps excitedly as it had travelled that way before, with Will Shane. Eli takes a deep breath and presses the button on the carriage. The carriage made a sound like aachine shutting down, causing Eli to wonder. It then took a huge drop down suddenly.
The carriage emerged from a tunnel and activated a parachute, to allow a smooth descend to a flat ground.
He was amazed at the view he saw when he looked downwards.
The carriage then lands on the ground of Slugterra.
When you reach Slugterra, there will be a Shane hideout within a few hundred yards of the Drop.
The Shane hideout was a house that Eli's dad had left for him as a home and a base of operations. The Hideout was located quite far away from civilization to keep it as secretive as possible and is secluded by the mushroom-like biomes around it.
He opened the door and was welcomed by untidiness.
Burpy chirps to get Eli's attention and pointed to the left. Eli looked left and saw a purple metal cabinet. He opened it and saw a set of clothes, a blaster and many slug shells (barrels).
Inside, you'll find all the gear you need to keep the peace.
Eli then changes into Slugterranian clothes, with gloves and thin armour which was a little skintight. He clips on the belt to hold the blaster, wears his backpack and clips on a shoulder belt with barrels on it.

Your own mecha beast would be waiting for you in the service bay. Happy birthday, son.
He opens the garage door and saw a donkey and was unimpressed at how old it looked.
Burpy chirps and points to the right, where a large cloth covered something. Eli walks over and pulls down the cloth, revealing a white-orange wolf mecha beast.
Eli opened another metal cabinet which he noticed in the garage and saw a blaster and a couple of barrels. He picked up the blaster, impressed. Burpy jumps off into one of the barrels and Eli picked the barrel up.
I usually keep a couple of extra blaster's around but you'll have to find your own slugs. That's gonna be your most important task, Eli. The slugs are the ley to everything down here. You're gonna learn that they're much more than just ammo.
Eli was surprised when he heard rustlings coming from behind a door and he decided to check it out. There were more grunts and crashings and Eli opened the door. A molenoid fell forward and his slugs jumped out of their barrels playfully and hopped off. He tried to catch his slugs back but scrambled backwards a little when he looked up and saw Eli's blaster pointed at him.

Tale of Family - Book 1 - WIP
The world is peaceful in 2063. Fusion reactor and Diamon battery had taken care of the energetical problem. Countries were stable. Automation was everywhere. Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." (courtesy of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlotArmor I love you guys ^^) So now that this is said, do my characters have plot armour? No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... For the tropers around here, a list of tropes that I like to use (note that I may not use all of them ^^) (this list will be updated as I dive deeper and deeper into our dear trope wiki.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BodyHorror- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SealedGoodInACan- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YouAreNotAlone- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieAdvocate (In particular since I see a lot of things that aren't human as worthy to live and to live with)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasLovedOnes- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasStandards- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HeelFaceTurn- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CorruptTheCutie (Note: being corrupted don't mean you're a villain, only different than before.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DefectingForLove (Of course.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VillainousRescue- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InterspeciesAdoption (For the same reasons as zombie advocate, since I love family stuff)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrokenBird (to go with corrupt the cutie if it's a girl)Cover: "The Bard" by John Martin, 1817.
