- after he left Isabella in the room -

believe she'd embarrass me like that. I tell her to listen to everything I say and she goes and freaks out like that. As if I was going to give her to my brother. I knew the minute I left her alone in that room, that I was probably making a big mistake, but who knows what would happen if she started freaking out again. I didn't want them to know everything about her... Especially since I haven't learned it all myself.

Yuily was gone when I came back but Theo and Lucius seemed to be waiting for me.

"Where the hell did that little brat go?" I asked sitting back down in my chair.

"To the bathroom apparently, " Lucius said waving his hand, " Stop getting so hostile over nothing."

"Me? Getting hostile..? You're talking?"

"Yes, I'm talking Cole, or have you gone deaf in both ears?"

I stood up and grabbed him by his shirt collar, he smirked at me and before I could say or do anything, both me and Lucius were on the floor. Theo was standing over us, dusting off his hands. He sighed and shook his head,

"Honestly it makes me wonder who's the eldest here. I don't have the energy to listen to you both bicker like you're in middle school. We're discussing something really important, focus on the conversation.

I scoffed at him before getting up and sitting back down in my seat. He waited till Lucius sat down and clapped his hands. "So. What's your plan, Cole? What are you planning with her?"

"Well, you've both seen a glimpse of how strong she could be. That plus my strength can outweigh the both of you."

"That's absurd..." Lucius started, but I cut him off, "I'm not done."

"It's been a long time since....our parents died, it's only right that one of us should claim the throne, and it's obvious the title should go to the strongest. So that will be me."

"You're kidding, right? You? Take the throne? And then what? You and the little girl are gonna maintain the power? With what army? Or am I somehow mistaken and she's magically somehow capable of even lifting a sword?"

"You'd give me your army. Well as King I would be entitled to it," I said, frowning at him.

He looked at me, blinking several times, " You're not entitled to shit...Theo, do you hear the shit that's coming out of his shitty mouth? You're not even a legitimate child, and you think you're entitled to something that's mine? Who the fuck do you think you are?"

Before anything else happened, I heard the sound of glass shattering and that's when the realization hit me. Yuily hadn't come back yet. I knew even before I got up to the room she was in that he'd taken her. I paced around the room waiting for Lucius and Theo who'd run after me.

"You two knew something about this, didn't you? Huh? Well, answer me... Where the hell did he take her?"

"We didn't," Theo said frowning, "We're just as in the dark about this as you are."

Lucius nodded and then sighed, "Boy do I wish I thought of that... I doubt she would've given in quietly though."

Theo grabbed me as I began walking towards Lucius and shook his head, "Would you stop being so damn reactive?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm going to find her and bring her back."

"Like I said, you're being reactive. If you leave right now tell me, where are you going to look? You haven't been here in years, and trust me Yuily knows his way around this area better than you do. Besides Cole, it doesn't seem like he forced her to come with him, so it'll be even harder for you to track her."

"If they just left then they couldn't have gotten that far away," I said shrugging him off me. "I'm not going to wait for him to turn her into one of his experiments."

"Are you really that weak as to where your plan is reliant on her or do you have feelings for her?" Theo asked, smiling at me. "You're losing your cool right now Cole and I suggest you calm down."

"This has nothing to do with you."

"Oh but it does." he said frowning at me, "You go spouting nonsense about becoming king, and now your girlfriend's left you, you're going crazy. Look at yourself. Besides... If she's as strong as you say she is then she's in no danger right now, is she? This is a perfect time to show us what you mean."

I wasn't expecting him to react like this at all. Maybe if it was Lucius saying it I wouldn't be surprised but not Theo. I must've made him pissed somehow, either that or they're both really in on this and he's trying to stall time for them.

As of right now, they're definitely both more powerful than me, so if I tried making a run for it, they would catch up to me instantly. I didn't have a choice but to stay there, but at the same time, I couldn't just leave her with him.

If they helped me find her there's no telling what they'd ask for in return. There's no guarantee they'd even give her back to me. This was all pissing me off even more than before. If she hadn't been so damn stupid before then none of this would have happened.

"If she doesn't return- let's see, by the time the sunrises, then either of you is allowed to go look for her. If she just so happens to be dead you have my deepest condolences, " he said yawning, stretching his arms.

"If I find her, then I'm keeping her," Lucius said grinning widely. "I've already got my army searching."

"He just said-" Lucius cut me off, "Yes. He said that we can't look for her until the sunrises, I'm not the one looking am I?"

I turned to Theo and frowned, "That's not fair!" He looked at me with a scowl on his face, "How old are you again? Since when was the world ever fair."

Who the hell gave this guy the authority to decide what I could or couldn't do? He didn't even care what'd happen to her, so why was he deciding all this? I can't believe I have to go along with this.

"You brought her here knowing something like this could happen so I don't want to hear you bitching about it now. If it bothered you that much you wouldn't have brought her," Theo said before leaving the room.

Lucius smirked at me and nodded his head in agreement to Theo. "I can't wait to see your face when I have her under me on all fours, " he said waving back at me as he followed Theo.

I clenched my jaw and slammed my fist against the wall. I really can't wait till the day I'll make the three of them wish they didn't underestimate me. Right now she was crucial to that plan... But soon enough I'd get powerful enough to do it all by myself.

"And she's not my fucking girlfriend!" I yelled down the hall after them.

I looked out the window up at the sky and it was still dark as ever. There were probably about five more hours until the sun would rise, and time felt like it was slowing down with every second I waited. I needed her to be alive, I needed her to survive.

"Come back to me Isabella." I whispered.

I must have been exhausted because I fell asleep sitting by the window. When I woke up the sun was rising and the light was shining directly in my face. I raced down to the hall as quickly as I could.

There's was something very off. The smell of blood was heavy but, it wasn't human blood though. When I got to the stairs, I seen Lucius and Theo standing there, their faces horrified. My eyes widened when I seen what they were looking at. The entire hall that was lively before with vampires was littered with dead bodies.

Isabella was standing at the bottom of the stairs, completely naked and covered in blood. Everything was on show, her wings, tail, horns...everything

In her hand she was holding Yuily's head. She threw it towards us and licked the blood of her hand.

I didn't even know what to say, I wasn't expecting this at all. In fact this was the opposite of what I was expecting. I felt completely horrified but at the same time, I wanted to smirk in both of their faces.

Her eyes were completely black and blood was dripping from them. She giggled and clapped her hands together, "Why's everyone soo tense? Isn't anyone going to welcome me back?" she asked angrily.

"Isabella..." I whispered, and her attention turned towards me immediately. Her eyes turned back to their normal color and she blinked several times before smiling at me.

"I came back to you master." She said in a small voice before losing consciousness.
