the rest of my glass of blood before tearing open another one of the countless letters I'd recommend today. The address and sender were all unknown to me but it was the same thing as usual. I skimmed the page and sighed.
'The devil will die today.' I read off. before grabbing my lighter and setting the page on fire. I watched it burn down into black ashes and brushed the mess off of my desk.
"Die today my ass, " I muttered.
Things like this didn't bother me in the slightest. I get death threats every day from countless people who think they have the balls to kill me but, today will be the day. I'll show them what happens when you play with fire- it's bound to burn you.
I made it known that I'd be at my club tonight so I could lure them in. I told the bouncer not to let any humans in- it'd be a pain if one of them wound up dead.
I tapped my hand on my desk and stood up from my chair. I could at least have a little fun before the attempt on my life. My guards want to keep me holed up in this small room since it's more convenient. I don't disagree but I'm bored. How could I possibly stay in here when there are probably countless beautiful women downstairs at my disposal.
They'd throw themselves at me. I'm sure that every one of them would die to spend a single night with me.
I stretched out my arms as I overlooked the club from below. Something, or should I say, someone, caught my eye.
A human?
What is she doing here?
A smile tugged at my lips as a realization came to mind, it's not like she can see our actual form. Her eyes will just pass right over me as any other normal person.

Besides... She'll be easy prey. I licked my lips in anticipation and made my way downstairs to where she sat. I'll just have my fun with her here, then erase her memories of me. It's simple.
I raised my hand to the bartender and he nodded before filling my glass with blood. It was mixed in with alcohol to give it a stronger taste and I took a sip before letting out a sigh. From the moment I sat down, she was already staring at me in complete awe.
"Can I get you something, love?" I asked, downing the rest of my drink. Her face flushed as I looked into her eyes and her lips parted, "I..."
"I don't really drink, " she stuttered, fidgeting with her hands. Cute.
"Is that so?" I asked. "Then why see you here?"
"My friend..."
"Oh? Where's this friend right now?" Her friend must be the one that snuck her in, everything makes much more sense. How unfortunate for her, she doesn't know the true nature of someone she considers her friend.
Still, I'll have to discuss this over with Casey, seeing as he hired that damn bouncer.
She pointed her friend out to me and I clicked my tongue before turning back to her. I took in her appearance and let my eyes trail down her figure. She was wearing a black dress that stopped at her mid-thigh and her sleeves were lace. She wore a black choker around her neck and her hair fell over her shoulders.
Her body wasn't as curvy as other women that I've slept with but, it was fine. The only thing that threw me off was her age- even under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have been allowed in here. The same goes for her little friend- if she were human that is.

I leaned in closer to her and could sense the heat rising in her. Her ears reddened as my lips drew closer and I smiled, "Do you want to get a room with me upstairs?"
"Yes."
That's all I needed to hear. I pulled her along with me, back into the office where I was earlier and things set off right as we entered the room. Her quiet moans, her desperate movements, her thoughts, the way her face begged me for more- I wanted to have her.
Holding back was unbeknownst to me right now.
The pleasure I was receiving just from this was undeniably overwhelming. My focus stayed on her- her body. Despite how much that should alarm me, I couldn't think of anything else and neither could she.
It seemed that way until she suddenly stopped. She stopped everything and looked at me with terror in her eyes.
"What's the matter?" I asked, letting go of her and she stumbled away from me, her body shaking. "W-what the hell are you?"
"You can see my true form?!"
Before anything I could question her further, the door busted open and bullets sprayed everywhere. I stood there as the bullets pierced holes through me and waited till I heard that small click.
Their ammo's runner out.
I rolled my eyes as I pushed the bullets back out onto the floor and my body rehealed. "That really hurt!" I said, sarcasm dripping from my voice and I laughed.
I let out a satisfied sigh after I felt finished being entertained and frowned at the gunman, "Now, it's my turn."
I picked up an empty bullet shell and flicked it back toward his head and it went straight through his skull. He stumbled back and fell down onto the floor, his blood pooling at the entrance.
Screams were coming from downstairs and just as I was about to go see what happened, I realized...
I turned around swiftly and cursed under my breath. She was lying there in a pool of blood, her eyes wide open yet, they were devoid of any color. Her body glowed a deep red color as if intense flames were swallowing it whole.
I'd never seen anything like this before- It smelled intoxicating.
My mouth watered and I fought back the urges as my fangs grew in. Just one drop. All I have to do is drink a single drop of her blood. One little sip.
She was still warm when I touched her. I crouched down and pulled her up toward me, tilting her neck over to the side. My heart pounded in my chest and my breathing grew heavier.
Just a sip...
