-Emma POV-

Bella finally woke up...

Edward took her out to hunt before she could meet me or Renesmee.

"She'll be okay" said Jasper while I waited for my sister.

I was holding my niece, she was quite the biter, but there was no venom.

She had a gift, she often showed me her first memory of me.

"I hope so" I said.

Renesmee smiled and I smiled too. She was so cute, but growing so fast...

She liked Lexa too, who was laying next to me on the couch.

Jasper sat down on the other side and laid his arm around me.

"She's so cute" I said and he smiled.

"That she is" he said. "We never continued to talk about it"

"About what?" I asked.

"Having kids" he said and I shook my head.

"I never wanted any" I said. "I mean, I could never have any. And I am okay with that. And I know you're using your power on me right now, to see if I'm lying"

"You know me too well, darling" he said and kissed my cheek.

I sensed a new vampire coming closer. But I recognised her.

"Bella is back" I whispered and smiled at Renesmee. "Are you ready to meet your mom?"

Jacob came closer, since he imprinted on Renesmee, he never left her side.

"Welcome to the family" said Esme.

"You look amazing, Bella" said Alice.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you" said Carlisle.

I looked at Bella, except for the red eyes, she still looked the same.

I carefully gave Renesmee to Bella, and Renesmee showed Bella her first memories.

Jasper laid his hands on my waist and I smiled at the scene that played in front of me.

"What was that?" asked Bella.

"She showed you the first memory she has of you" said Edward.

"Showed me? How?" asked Bella.

"How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? She's gifted" said Edward.

"I've only been out for two days?" she asked.

"Her growth rate is unprecedented" said Carlisle.

"All right" said Jacob. "That's enough experimenting for one day"

He tried to get Renesmee back.

"Jacob" said Edward. "She's doing great"

"Yeah, let's not push it though" said Jacob.

"What's your problem?" asked Bella and everyone began to sniffle.

"Oh" said Rosalie. "Do tell her, Jacob"

"This should be good" said Emmett.

"Hold on a second" I said and walked closer to Bella. "Can I hold her?"

Bella looked me in the eyes, and carefully gave her daughter back to me.

"Look" started Jacob. "It's a wolf thing..."

"What's a wolf thing?" asked Bella.

"Uhm... You know we have no control over it" said Jacob. "We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise"

"Emma, take Renesmee out of the room" said Bella. "Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't wanna hurt you"

"Okay, come one, little one" I said to Renesmee and walked out of the room.

I looked through the window and saw Bella throwing Jacob.

"Can I hold her?" asked Rosalie and took Renesmee out of my arms. "You might need to do damage control"

"What else is new?" I smiled and walked outside.

"You imprinted on my daughter?" shouted Bella.

"It wasn't my choice" said Jacob.

"She's a baby!" she shouted.

"It's not like that!" defended Jacob. "You think Edward or Emma would let me live if it was?"

"I'm still debating it" said Edward and I hit him in his arm.

"I've held her once!" said Bella. "One time, Jacob! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her? She's mine!"

Bella hit Jacob again, and this time Seth and Leah appeared in their wolf forms.

"It's fine, Leah" said Jacob.

I noticed that Jasper was a bit sad.

'Maybe he's jealous of how well Bella can control herself...'

I held his hand and squeezed it.

"You're gonna stay away from her" said Bella to Jacob.

"You know I can't do that" said Jacob, but Bella hit him again.

"Stop her, Edward" said Esme.

"He said it's fine" said Edward and I rolled my eyes. "She's amazing, right?"

"Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me three days ago?" asked Jacob. "That's gone now, right?"

"Long gone" said Bella.

"Because it was her" he said. "From the beginning it was Nessie who wanted me there"

'Oh bloody hell... this isn't going to end well'

"Nessie?" said Bella. "You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness monster?"

"Told you she wouldn't like the nickname" I said.

Bella wanted to go after Jacob again, but Seth stepped in between, so she threw Seth to the side.

"Bella!" I shouted.

"Seth, I'm sorry" said Bella.

"He'll be all right" said Jacob. "Bella, you know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness... Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason"

The other Cullens went out hunting, while Bella, Edward, Jacob, Renesmee and I stayed at the house.

Jasper came running inside and kissed me on my lips.

"Welcome back, Cowboy" I whispered.

"My Lady" he whispered and kissed me once more.

"My turn" said Rosalie and took Renesmee out of Bella's arms.

"Where does she sleep?" asked Bella.

"In my arms. Or Edward's or Esme's or Emma's" said Rosalie.

"Happy birthday" said Alice to Bella.

"I stopped aging three days ago" said Bella.

"Well, we're celebrating anyway" said Alice.

"She means, suck it up, Bells" I said and smiled.

Alice gave Bella a key to their own house.

Jasper and I went home with Lexa.

"Let's see how long their house will stand" he said and I frowned.

"Really?" I said and he laughed.
