《The Banshee (Jasper Hale x OC)》Chapter 25

Bella had to be home every day at 4 pm. And Edward couldn't come inside the house.
But I was getting more worried about Alice...
She was gone often and she wasn't answering my texts.
So one day, I ran to the Cullen's house.
"Emma? What's wrong?" asked Jasper when I came inside the house.
"I'm worried about Alice so I ran..." I began and then it hit me.
"Emma? Darling?" said Jasper and I looked into his golden eyes.
"Jasper, I ran here" I said and he didn't understand. "Jazz, I ran here and I got here in like 5 minutes"
His eyes went wide and I smiled.
We immeadiatly tested my new found speed out. I was fast like a vampire, although I was a little bit slower than Jasper.
"This is awesome!" I laughed and he stopped me from running. "I love it" I laughed and he lifted me up, twirling me around.
"What's happening here?" asked Emmett.
"Emma has speed like us" said Jasper proudly.
"No way" laughed Emmett and he raced against me. "Nice going, little Banshee"
I used my telekinesis to throw him against the tree. "I'm not little, you gorilla"
"Seems like you'll be quite the Banshee" said Carlisle and I smiled. "Your mom would be very proud of you"
~
"So, none of you know where Alice is?" I asked when we were done testing the new found speed.
"No, she said she would be back soon" said Carlisle.
And when you speak of the Devil...
"I'm back!" said Alice and I ran to her. "Emma!" she said surprised.
"Do you have any idea how worried I've been? Where the hell were you?" I asked and hugged her.
"Sorry, for worrying you" she said and hugged me back. "But, I brought someone"

I felt the presence of a vampire that I didn't know... I looked up and saw red eyes.
"Alice? Who is that?" I asked and Jasper was by my side, sensing my fear.
"Don't be frightened. This is Lewis" said Alice and held Lewis his hand.
"Oh" I realised. She had seen her own future and found her mate.
Lewis was moving his hands, and that's when I realised he was mute.
"He's saying nice to meet you" said Alice.
"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Emma Marshall" I said and smiled.
"He's asking why your eyes are blue" translated Alice.
"Oh, I'm a Banshee, not a vampire" I smiled and he was surprised.
"Lewis, this is Jasper" said Alice and Jasper just nodded. "Lewis wants to be like us. That's why I brought him here"
"Then he's more than welcome in our home" said Carlisle and introduced himself to Lewis.
"I'll take you back home" said Jasper and I nodded.
~
"I think it's nice that Alice has someone" I said.
"Yes, she deserves happiness" said Jasper and I smiled.
When we arrived I looked at Jasper.
"I'll wait in your room after I put the car back" he said and softly kissed my lips.
"Okay" I whispered and kissed him back.
"I'll try to hurry, my lady" he teased and I chuckled.
"I'll be waiting, Cowboy" I teased back and got out of the car.
When I got inside, Bella was home and Charlie was giving her a speech.
"Okay. You understand why you're being punished, right?" said Charlie.
"I know, I put you through hell" said Bella.
"Yes, you did" said Charlie. "But I have other reasons for grounding you. Like, uh... I just want you to get some separation from him"
"Dad, there's nothing you can say. Edward is in my life" said Bella.

'I still have to give Edward hell for leaving her into the forest' I thought.
"Yeah, I'm gathering that" said Charlie and drank from his beer. "So, all right, how about this? I'll make you a deal. You're not grounded anymore if you use your new-found freedom to see some of your other friends, too, like... like Jacob. Emma has been going over often, but he's going through a really tough time right now"
"Yeah, his dad is really worried about him" I said and sat next to Bella.
"I remember when that was you" said Charlie. "You needed a friend. Jake was there"
When I felt that Jasper was in my room I excused myself and ran to my room.
~
I smiled when I saw him sitting on my bed and I went to sit on his lap.
"Hello darling" he said and I smiled.
"You took quite a while, cowboy" I said and he chuckled.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Ma'am" he said and I kissed his lips.
"You'll have to make it up to me" I teased and he deepened our kiss.
He began leaving kisses on my neck and I moaned, making him smirk.
"Oh get that smirk of your face" I laughed and kissed him back on his lips.
"I love you" he whispered and I blushed.
"I love you" I whispered back and I pulled him closer to me.
~
I woke up next to Jasper and smiled at the memories of last night.
"Good morning, darling" he whispered and he kissed my forehead.
"Good morning, cowboy" I whispered and he smiled.
At school, Alice sat with us and our friends at the table.
"I've decided to throw a party" she said happily.
"After all, how many times are we gonna graduate high school?" said Jasper and I had to hold in my laugh.
"A party? At your place?" asked Angela.
"I've never seen your house" said Jessica.
"No one's ever seen their house" said Eric.
"I've seen their house" I said.
"Another party, Alice?" said Edward and I wished I could sent him flying.
"It'll be fun" said Alice.
"Yeah. That's what you said last time" said Bella and I looked angry at her.
I noticed that Jasper looked down and I held his hand under the table. He was still mad at himself for hurting me back then.
But Alice had a vision and luckily Bella changed the subject quickly.
~
I sat in the car with Jasper and Alice and I looked at her.
"What did you see?" I asked.
"Victoria, she's passing through this weekend" she said and I looked at Jasper.
"Edward is gonna sent Bella to Phoenix to her mom, you should go with her" said Jasper and I shook my head.
"No, I'm not going anywhere. I am able to sense her. I could help" I said and Jasper wanted to intervene.
"She's right, Jazz. If Emma and I work together, we could catch her quickly" said Alice and I smiled at her.
"You're not getting rid of me" I said and he sighed.
"I'm just worried about you" he said and I squeezed his hand.
"I know, but if I go to Phoenix, I'll be worried about you. Besides, she won't kill me. She knows what I am" I said and he knew that I was right. "I promise I won't fight her directly, would that be good enough for you?"
"Yes" said Jasper and drove out of school.

Abandoned as an orphan, Mar was tested for magic by the Mages of Orelm and was found to possess immense magical potential, but when he grew old enough to start his training he found he was unable to cast so much as a single spell! Embarrassed by their mistake, the mages threw him in the library where he read books and tutored the mage students for a bit of money. All the while, he can’t help but envy the the students who are living the life he had so eagerly awaited. But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

Shadow under Plato
King’s College has a reputation. To Leo, the sharp but cynical rebel, it is a place where the people he cares about are sentenced to a fate worse than death—to live the rest of their days on the surface of a dying Earth. To Morgan, the bright and strict overachiever, it is a vault in which she may find her dreams. And for the brightest six students of King’s College, even greater opportunities reside in the legendary Class Euripides; a class which she will fight for a seat at with all her wits and will. And to Lumia, the newly Ascended girl whose smile never fades, King’s College is a terrifying puzzle just like everything else in the floating city of Plato, the last bastion of humanity. As the class of 311 commences a grueling year of study and elaborately devious tests, none of the bright-eyed students could have anticipated the weight of expectation laid upon their shoulders. After all, a student’s hopes and dreams mean little in the fight against an ever-collapsing climate. For the Educators of King’s College offer only one lesson to their future students, to the future of a dying world: Burn bright.

Red Wheat
Skylar Kylee Wintersong was born an Indigo Child. Celebrated by her parents, who ensured that she suffered no restrictions that might hinder her powers, ability or genius, she has grown up knowing that she was a member of the elite, born to rule and guide. However, the cruel whims of beings who are Gods have intervened, and not only dropped Skylar in a savage reality of magic, muscle, steel, and blood, but granted her all the powers she thought she was entitled to. Her knowledge that she's been born to rule and guide, that she was a chosen one, has been made real, with all the terrible burden that entails. How will a 21st Century Earth girl survive on the Six Worlds of Shtar? A place known as "The War Worlds." The entire thing is somewhat tongue in cheek, fun high fantasy with a touch of satire. Rather than adding in likable and relatable characters, the three Earthlings are supposed to be caricatures and somewhat satirical, as I was making fun of the type of fantasy that was being spit out all over the place at the time I wrote this about a decade ago. It is currently unfinished and on hiatus.

Join Peter Pan's daughter in her adventures with the VKs to save Auradon from Maleficient/Audrey. Also in her adventures to find herself and her true love, sounds cheesy right? But that's the story. Read this to know if she's going to choose the son of Captain Hook or Cruella De Vil's son.**This was supposed to be an 'X OC' Fanfic but I decided to change it into an 'X Reader' because that's really more ideal than the other**
