Axis couldn't move, literally. His body was being held back by some unknown force. His eyes merely glanced at his soulmate the moment she felt her approach but he stood still.

Lancia and Calysta tried entering the room only to be stopped by the force field once again.

They both exhaled annoyed, suddenly Lancia said something under her breath. Eris's magenta eyes snapped to her and she gasped.

Calysta still unaware of what was happening, tried to slam her fists against the field only to be stopped by her soulmate.

"Calysta, don't!" He exclaimed, sheer panic marrying his features.

"Why? What the fuck is going on and why is Alpha Eris keeping the two of you hostage. Did you do something?" She asked suspiciously while her eyes jumped between the three of them.

"No, my soul. You don't understand." His voice trembled.

"My Goddess and I... we are different, do you remember what I told you yesterday?" He asked while moving closer to Calysta, his hand reached up and moved closely to the field but he didn't touch it, he knew neither Calysta nor Lancia could see where field started and where it stopped but he could.

Axis watched in annoyance as he moved freely through the field while he was rendered useless. He couldn't understand why, he glanced at his Alpha again only to see her back facing him while she rummaged through the other secret room.

Calysta gasped and her eyes widened.

"What do you mean? Is she like you?" She wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer.

Her Alpha was dangerous enough as it was, any more power added to that and their world was doomed.

"No, she is more than me, my soul." He spoke gruffly while trailing a hand through his hair.

"She created me... this side of me, I missed some important points while explaining what happened to you last night.." He flinched when he heard his Goddess's roar, it was vicious.

"We don't have much time, the shield is impenetrable, I will free Axis and try to bring her back, if she's not in control, she will destroy a lot more than the experiments heading our way." His magenta eyes brightened, a look similar to Eris's taking over, he moved towards Axis, lifting his hand he thrust it forward breaking through his Goddess's hold and gripping Axis.

"How did you do that if you said it's impenetrable?" Calysta's voice rose in disbelief.

"Because I'm the only one who can break through for a short period of time, the changes that she put me through were also designed to be able to help her control herself, meaning I can do a little bit more than any of you can." He pulled the Beta and cracked the shield towards Calysta while throwing Axis in the room her and Lancia were in.

"Go, we don't have much time." He looked at his Goddess and realized she was shaking.

He glanced back at his soulmate and her friends before motioning for them to leave, surprised when they actually did without a fight.

"Fuck, no, no, this is bad.. very bad." He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose trying to think of what to do.

Eris held her weapon of choice in her hands and her now magenta eyes brightened, they were almost white.

"My Goddess, you must control the urge, I beg of you." He went on his knees and touched his heart with his right hand while bowing in hopes of her coming back to reality at the sight of her trusted creation, he was out of ideas, in spite of that being his exact purpose, his Goddess never trained him for it, she always tried to offer him as much freedom as she could in that cell.

She ignored him and walked past him, heading out in the direction of their western border.

He went on his feet and started moving after her, if he couldn't stop her he would at least be close enough to be able to help the people around her.

"Where are your mates, Goddess?" He asked himself.

They should've been there, maybe they would've been able to help her.

Eris wasn't completely unaware, she heard everything going on around her yet she couldn't be bothered by any of it.

She was like a missile on a mission.

Her palm was itching because of the small object it held and she stopped dead in her tracks.

She could hear magenta eyes trailing behind her but there was a second pair of footsteps, barely audible.

She threw her hand in the air and the tiny object she held lengthened to its natural size. She threw the blood red spear towards him and listened as it whizzed past his head and broke through the creatures forehead.

She could hear his breath quicken but she didn't pay it any mind, she turned and watched what her spear had hit.

A carbon copy of her, it looked like.

Her lips rose in a small smirk, she shook her head and crouched next to the wailing thing.

"What- Goddess..?" He asked bewildered behind her.

Eris removed her spear from its forehead and watched as a substance gushed out of the wound... the smell hit her like a truck.

Its head was filled with the damned chemical composition, no brain, no thoughts.

She took a deep breath of it and detected a new substance which she couldn't quite put her finger on yet.

She watched as the wound healed itself but she didn't seem surprised.

"How-... does it look like you and is it healing itself?" Magenta eyes watched shocked.

Eris shrugged her shoulders, even though she knew exactly what was happening.

She elongated her claws, dragged them down the face of the creature and slit its throat before pulling its head off completely, the similarities between them unsettling her

She watched as the creature died yet again but this time, it was sent directly to Tartarus.

She nodded to herself and stood up.

He almost threw up at the sight but his posture remained composed.

"What the fuc-", he was cut off by another copy of his Goddess, this one jumped on his back.

He trashed around, successfully taking the creature off of him before turning and repeating what his Goddess did.

He watched confused as the head connected itself back to the body yet the creature remained dead, it looked gruesome.

"How is that possible?" He looked around at the warriors fighting and saw the same thing happening.

Eris didn't want the war to take place but she would raise Hell and burn Heaven for those who crossed her path and threatened her pack.

She started lashing out at the creatures, she sent an image to magenta eyes while piercing the forehead of another creature, he didn't react but she knew he got it.

"Kill everything you see and cut their heads off, don't be biased by the fact that those creatures look like your Alpha, you all know damn well that none of you would be able to kill her if you tried, so no mistake will be made." He bellowed.

Eris's warriors already knew that, they were extremely intelligent, she didn't doubt the fact that they would show no mercy to those creatures even with their uncanny resemblance.

She noticed that one of her warriors was surrounded, she opened the palm of her hand and her spear lengthened again, this time she concentrated on it having four copies before throwing them towards the creatures.

Her warrior dropped low at the sight of her Alpha, her eyes widened in awe at how she took the creatures out but she didn't waste time, she turned to the fallen creatures and cut their heads off.

Their numbers were dimming fast, Eris noted how the creatures stopped coming and decided she should take one to her prison to try and examine it closer.

She watched around, searching for one that was neither dead nor fighting her warriors yet, when she spotted it.

While the other creatures looked like her, they all lacked the scar that ran down her face but this particular one.

She headed directly in its direction and immobilized it immediately, bringing it to its knees she observed how the rest of the creatures fell as well.

Interesting, she though.

She wanted to test a theory so she ripped the creatures right arm off completely and as she expected, the rest of the creatures wailed.

Very interesting, she pulled it back to its feet and started dragging it towards her prison, her warriors took care of the last few creatures that remained.
