Eris gently rubbed the sore spot on her neck, Calysta didn't need to cut so deep, it was quite the annoyance really, she glanced in her direction only to see her with her head down. She knew it wasn't her fault, after all, she was sure Axis first came with the proposal and poor Calysta only followed his steps.

"Please, King Romanov, let's go back to Alpha Eris's office so we could explain everything" said Calysta while moving towards the entrance of the pack house.

King Romanov, still bewildered by what happened barely registered what Calysta said, his feet moving on their own accord towards the office.

Eris seeing an opportunity, took the dagger that her Beta wanted to slice her throat with, which conveniently was a few steps behind her, and turned towards him, stabbing him in the heart with it before slicing his throat.

She knew he would heal and after all, he deserved it so she decided to leave him there, someone would see him and take him to the pack doctor. With a short sigh and a roll of her eyes so far she thought she saw stars, she turned on her heel and walked towards her office.

"- and that's exactly what Beta Axis was talking about ." She heard Calysta's voice which no doubt meant she already explained everything which made Eris glad to have her as her Gamma, she couldn't think of anyone better for the title.

Entering the office she resumed looking for the folder and the key, she knew she put them somewhere in her office yet she couldn't remember the exact location for the life of her.

While rummaging through her desk she heard King Romanov call out her name but before she could turn to answer, she saw a key glinting in the sun. With a quick shake of her head she took it and opened the drawer underneath it, finding exactly what she was looking for.

Gamma Calysta glanced in her Alpha's direction, noticing her discovery, her face turning from playful to stone hard in a matter of seconds.

"Alpha, are you sure?" She questioned once again, needing her leader's reassurance.

Eris only nodded her head in slow motion, as if she was trying to make Calysta understand that her decision was final.

Calysta nodded as well before explaining "My King, we are ready to show you but we have one slight problem, you can't come down there with anyone else besides Beta Aziz, my Alpha and I promise on our pack lands that no harm will come to you but I repeat, your warriors can't join us."

King Romanov understood the situation and trusted Alpha Eris enough to believe what her Gamma was saying was true. He turned to his warriors and ordered "Stand down, without any further order, I want you to stay here and wait, if I do mind link you to come, then you are free to move, otherwise stay put."

With those last words, the four of them left the office, King Romanov and Beta Aziz staying behind the two women, allowing them to lead the way.

Eris had to mentally prepare herself for what was to come, she knew whenever she went down there, her primal instincts were to haunt and torture, she couldn't help it, her bloodlust came to life whenever she was close to that part of her territory but that wasn't what was troubling her, no, she knew it would be Calysta's first time ever to join her inside and she didn't know what would be her Gamma's reaction. She was aware of the prison but she has never been in it, Eris wouldn't allow it but this was different, after today the whole place wouldn't be a secret anymore, to the four of them at least.

Calysta was just as curious as she was scared, she knew the exact location of the place but she's never been able to enter it and believe her, she tried countless of times.

"We have to shift to reach there, us, being in wolf form would cut the day long travel to a mere few hours." Spoke Calysta after 30 minutes of silence.

Everyone was lost in thought while walking towards the place.

Aziz was the first to undress and shift followed by Calysta, nudity wasn't a problem for them, it was a usual occurrence so no one in the shifters world was shy of it.

The King was about to shift when he noticed Alpha Eris made no move to follow their own suggestion, standing there bare as the day he was born he asked "Alpha Eris, why aren't you shifting as well?" His tone was curious, not intrusive in any way, he just couldn't understand why she wasn't shifting.

Calysta's wolf's ears perked up at the question, the 6'3 beast turned towards the King before shifting back to human form "She doesn't need to, my King, she can run as fast as a wolf in her human form." With those words she shifted once again to her fur side before motioning for the King to follow her.

He still had a lot of questions left but something told him all of them would be answered when they reach wherever their destination was so he decided not to fret and shifted into his beast before motioning with his snout towards Alpha Eris to lead the way. While he knew his questions would be answered he couldn't help himself but challenge Gamma Calysta's words, he was sceptic.

It didn't take long for him to realize the Gammas words were true, Alpha Eris was extremely fast, running in front of them, he could see her muscles strain, stretch and contract with each movement made, even without shifting which made him wonder how fast would she be in her other form.

It took them 6 hours of nonstop running to reach the destination, all of them but Eris were exhausted, she made a left turn on an empty alley, already aware of their exhaustion, she decided to head over to her cottage. She placed it specifically so it would still be on her territory while also at the edge of the western border.

Calysta shifted back to her human form before motioning for the King and his Beta to join her.

Eris was the first to enter the cottage, in spite of rarely being used, was spotless, she came over every now to clean it and keep it in prime condition in case she ever needed it.

"Beta Azis you will stay in the room adjoined to King Romanov's while I will stay to the one next to Alpha Eris's." Said Calysta while showing them their rooms.

"We should test for the rest of the day and tomorrow morning when the sun hits the sky we will go down." Spoke Calysta once again before going in her room to freshen herself and go to sleep.

Eris nodded shortly in the King's direction before going to take a shower, she couldn't sleep neither did she need to so she decided to walk out of the cottage and towards her garden situated not too far away from the cottage.

Reaching the garden she sat down on the soft grass before gently dragging her hands over some stones she placed there when she was younger, trying hard not to think of those days.

She looked up at the sky, letting the feeling of freedom sink in while letting go of all her previous thoughts, whenever she went to the garden, she felt at peace and that was one of the reasons she didn't go there often, she felt like she didn't deserve the peace even if it didn't last long.

Watching the starts felt like watching your child take its first steps for Eris, she felt proud and awe whenever she stargazed, the infinite amount of stars lighting up the sky with their beauty, while each and ever one of them was unique in some way, it all called out to her, whenever she saw a falling star, her soul would cry, it always broke her heart when one of them was loosing its place, it always felt wrong to her.

She tilted her head to the left, the feeling of being watched bringing her out of her dream, she knew who was there but she didn't feel the need to acknowledge the person, after all, the King of Vampires had no business coming to her pack yet he always did and with time, she got used to it, he never meant harm, she believed it was his escape.

"How are you love?" He spoke, his voice silky smooth.

He was a beautiful specimen, tall, lean and handsome with his silver hair which usually looked like he was running his hands through it all day, his thick lips always turned upwards, dimpled left cheek and last but not least his obnoxiously bright eyes, they seemed to lure you in whenever you looked at them, their crimsoned color alluring in a very sexual way.

She ignored him and turned back her sight to the beautiful stars, she felt him prodding in her thoughts, trying to see what she was thinking but her mind was too blank to give him an answer and after a while he gave up and sat down with a heavy breath.

"You know you'll have to kill him, don't you? This will be the last time you'll ever see him." His deep voice spoke once again, he was watching her, he didn't expect an answer and of course he wouldn't get once, in Eris's eyes he was a nuisance.

He gave up speaking and decided to stay silent, looking in the direction Eris was, he realized for the first time in his existence why she was so in love with the sky, it spoke while staying silent, like her, its beauty capturing his very attention.

He knew he would be gone before the daylight and he decided to enjoy the few hours he had with her before leaving and he knew for them to be pleasant he'd have stay silent and bask in the moonlight alongside her.
