《Eris, the Alpha of silence.》Chapter 7

While King Romanov and Calysta spoke, Eris was long gone.

She was in hell.

In the literal sense of the word. She dragged the demon down, back to his home and there she was, standing in front of hell's gates.

She didn't understand what was his purpose on earth, let alone behind the King and so close to her.

Demons usually don't mix with other supernaturals. They keep to them selves only enjoying bringing hell to others from time to time, most of the time, it being out of boredom.

What angered her, she now realized, was the demon crawling out of hell, that's why her wolf has been antsy for the past few days.

She felt him come out of his hole.

Demons weren't supposed to mingle with humans because Hades was supposed to keep them in check down there. They were demons for a reason after all.

Alpha Eris turned towards the demon on which she put a leash not long ago, made out of a special material to contain his abilities and started dragging him towards the gates.

The demon, seeing her drag him like that started getting agitated, for some unknown reason he didn't want to go back which raised suspicions. Hell was their home, it's their safe place, they shouldn't be avoiding going there.

She turned back towards the gates and touched her hand to its handle, opening it within seconds.

With one last glance towards the demon she started walking on the bridge connecting the gates to many different roads on which souls usually get lost.

Rarely is there a soul that doesn't get lost in its despair and anguish and those who do, become demons of different categories.

The end of the bridge, before the start of the roads was protected by Cerberus, the three headed, standing at around 13 feet tall beast.

Hades's personal bloodhound, his favorite.

While Eris was getting closer to him with powerful, unbothered steps, the demon started trembling behind her.

What in Hades's name is wrong with this woman, doesn't she understand that Cerberus will rip us apart if we gets any closer and would drag us both to Tartarus by his teeth? Thought Achlys to himself, trembling in fear while watching the mad woman with exasperated eyes.

Cerberus's ears were perked up at the sight of the two, Eris noted.

One of his heads was staring straight at them while the other two looked around, scanning the rest of the area with watchful eyes.

Getting closer to the bloodhound, Achlys saw how he started lowering himself in a defensive pose, this was it, he thought.

Reaching Cerberus, Eris rose her hand and the rest of his heads snapped toward her, dropping to the ground, crawling towards her in submission which shocked Achlys to no end.

When he was close enough she started caressing his soft fur while looking at his eyes. The three headed beast was looking everywhere around her face but not directly in her eyes, his respect for her not allowing him too.

Cerberus knew why she was here and he also knew about Achlys standing behind her on a leash, he was amused to say the least.

The demon had it coming.

He knew Achlys escaped Tartarus because Hades was away, busy dealing with Zeus and the sneaky demon escaped through a crack in the underworld.

He wasn't bothered in the least, knowing Achlys was going to be back he decided not to go after him yet he didn't know he'd be back this soon, dragged by Alpha Eris nonetheless.

While being caressed, Cerberus's tongue was out to the side, he was panting, enjoying being petted by her.

Eris knew Cerberus on a personal level, saving him on numerous occasions, this wasn't her first time in hell nor was it her second, no, it was her third.

Third time's the charm, wasn't that the saying?

After a few minutes of petting Cerbus, Eris finally remembered about the task at hand.

Cerberus felt the change in her, he rose to his full height and moved to the right, allowing her entrance without any word needed.

With one last pat on his front paw, Eris left to complete her mission, while passing, Cerberus snapped one of his heads towards Achlys's feet and growled, reminding the shell shocked demon of his true nature, which almost made the demon faint had it not been for Eris pulling him along by his leash.

But when he turned and saw the direction they were headed to, he dropped to the ground begging not to be brought back there, Eris payed him no mind and continued dragging his, now sloped body to Tartarus, having every intention of throwing him back inside, she felt his destiny the moment she entered through the underworld's gates and she had every intention to fulfill it, she knew she need answers but for that she needed to talk which she couldn't be bothered with.

She had other ways of learning what exactly happened for the demon to escape and come to her dimension, his purpose there as well.

Reaching the bloodied gate of Tartarus, she was met with two other demons, Scylla and Sthenno.

She handed Achlys to them before leaving and making her way to the underworld's palace, having every intention of finally meeting Hades and talking to him about his demon's reason for his escapade.

The moment she left the demon, her aura was out in full swing, being felt all around the underworld.

She knew, down here, in hell, she didn't need to suppress it, she learned this the first two times she was here.

As long as she's away from the creatures down here, her deadly aura was able to reach its fullest with no restraint.

The closer she got to the palace the angrier she felt, once again, her other side peaking out, this time not taking over, just watching its surroundings.

While everything was going down in the underworld, Hades was in a meeting with Zeus, he felt the change in hell the moment the woman entered, he knew of her and her extremely rare visits to hell but every time she was there, it was to his advantage anyway, she either brought someone in or saved his hound, he never met her, not having time nor a reason to. He trusted Cerberus's judgment and he seemed to like her which was a very rare occurrence.

Not only that but he also sent his right hand man over whenever she was around, to keep track of her actions and report back to him.

Hades knew that she was aware about being watched yet she never made a move to acknowledge Maddox, his right hand man.

This time, even he felt the woman's anger which was very unusual, in spite of her being in hell only two times, time down there is very different in opposition to her dimension. It moved slower so her being there for mere days was more like weeks on earth and on those times she was here, she was always calm and composed throughout her stay.

And the moment her aura was out he immediately felt it.

He turned to Zeus.

"I'm leaving, I have to go back, it seems that someone is waiting for me.

We can continue this childish argument once I've dealt with this woman."

With those words he teleported back to the underworld, not waiting for Zeus's answer.

Walking in his office, he was met with a very interesting sight.

The woman who came down to his dimension, was sitting on his chair, with her legs propped up on his desk, toying with a pen.

Staring directly into his mismatched eyes with her dark terracotta eyes.

His beloved, his soulmate.

His other half.

His Queen.
