lot
The first day in the house consisted mostly of getting settled and, sadly enough for Stiles, of deciding who'd sleep where, because the pups all had very specific ideas on where and especially with who they wanted to room. That was a very good reminder that, although they usually acted like a bunch of toddlers, they still were teenagers. After a lot of fussing, Stiles finally decided to just split them girls- boys, and that way they also didn't take up as much space, because all the pups slept in two rooms on the second floor. Melissa and John insisted to take a room on the third floor, although Stiles and Derek wanted them to sleep in the alpha's room, but they ended up in there after all, which wasn't completely to Stiles' displeasure. On the first night they decided to order pizza, but what they hadn't realised was how far away from the town they were, so when the very annoyed pizza boy finally showed up with their thirteen XL pepperoni and bacon pizzas they were pretty much cold, and Derek got in an argument with the pizza boy because Derek didn't want to pay anything since the pizzas were cold and the pizza boy wanted a tip for driving all the way down to the lake house. Finally Stiles finished it by grabbing Dereks hand to calm him down and telling the boy they'd pay for the pizzas and nothing more. The boy accepted that, but not before yelling "stupid fags!" Pit of the window of his van when he drove away. After that, Stiles had to do everything in his power to stop Derek from chasing after the boy. "Derek, let him be. He doesn't know any better, and a police investigation would ruin the vacation, wouldn't it?" He said, making Derek sigh and nuzzle Stiles' neck, and he grunted "mine!" While obnoxiously scenting his mate. "Yes Derek, I'm yours" Stiles patiently replied. He knew that Derek always got a little territorial when he was angry or worked up about something, so he let him be for the moment. After about a minute he patted Dereks shoulder. "Let's warm these pizzas up and eat, ok?" He asked, andDerek cleared his throat and nodded. "Um, sorry for that" he said in an embarrased voice. Derek hated it when his instincts took over, it made him feel weak, even though he was the only one who saw it that way. They went back in, and were met by amused looks from the pups, and confused glances from John and Melissa. "What took you guys so long?" John asked confusedly. "Well" Stiles told his dad with a smirk "Derek was seriously considering killing the pizza boy, and I, as the responsible one, had to stop him" he said cockily, and John sighed. If Stiles was the responsible one, than the world had seriously gone to hell. Although he did seem to handle the pack well. He wondered if he had thought wrong of his son, but he then decided to shift his attention to the food. "But, can we eat now?" He asked, and Stiles chuckled at the similarities between his dad and thw werewolves. "That's all you ever think about, isn't it? Well, if you wait five minutes we can eat. But don't thonk I'm going to let you have pizza every day, it's bad for your hart and you know it" Stiles topd his dad, but then he chuckled at all the happy faces around him. Not only his dad was happy they could eat, and when he put the food on the table every single one of his pups was ogling it. Stiles glared at all of them. "Don't you dare take a piece of one of these pizzas before I give you some" they all nodded obediently, and Stiles started to give them all a couple of pieces from the absolutely giant pizza, but then decided to just give each werewolf their own, because that was the amount they were going to eat anyway. He had to hold back a grin when he saw their incredibly happy faces. When he gave some to his dad, John chuckled and said "you know son, this whole 'mother' role kinda suits you" Stiles just blushed and went on with giving everyone their share of pizza. After dinner they all watched a movie together in the living room, and after that Melissa and John went to bed. Derek, Stiles and the pups decided to watch another movie before going to bed, but halfway the movie Scott and Jackson were softly snoring on the couch, and Allison, Isaac and and Boyd looked like they were about to fall asleep as well. To be honest, Stiles felt pretty tired as well. Only Lydia, Derek and Erica were still fully awake, and only Derek was actually paying attention to the movie. Stiles turned around on Dereks lap. "You think we should call it a night?" He asked Derek, who looked up from the movie and nodded. "Well, how are we going to get them to bed?" Stiles asked after he sent everybody who wasn't asleep upstairs. Derek sighed. "Well, I'm not waking all of them. Lets just do this one by one" Stiles looked at Scott, Jackson and Isaac, who had fallen asleep, and quickly walked up to Isaac. Less chance of getting his throat ripped out. He put his hand on Isaacs shoulder and softly shook it. "Hey pup, time to go to bed, you have to wake up" he whispered softly, and Isaac opened his eyes before getting up slowly without really waking up. He took one step and almost fell over, but Stiles was able to grab the back of his shirt just in time. Isaac let out a small huff before trying to stumble up the stairs. Stiles pulled him back at his shirt with a small chuckle. "Whoa there, I don't think you're gonna get up the stairs by yourself. Just hold on to me, okay?" He asked, and Isaac nodded groggily before grabbing Stiles' hand, and they managed to make it upstairs without any accidents, although Stiles had to literally drag him up the stairs. But when Stiles wanted to guide him to his bed, Isaac pulled on his hand. "Mom, can I stay with you tonight?" He asked shamelessly. "You smell like home. This house doesn't" he explained. Boyd, who was still awake, chuckled "no way he's going to remember this tomorrow" he said. Stiles sighed "okay pup, come on then" and he managed to get Isaac up to the alphas room, after dragging him up two pairs of stairs. When he had tucked Isaac in, he went downstairs, wondering if Derek had managed to get Scott and Jackson up from the couch. He didn't have to wait long for an answer, because when he went downstairs, he heared a loud yelp and a lot of cursing coming from the living room. He hurried downstairs, and saw a dripping, very wet Jackson, next to an annoyed looking sourwolf, and Scott had somehow managed to sleep through everything and was still snoring on the couch. "Okay, what happened here?" Stiles asked while placing his hands on his hips. "He threw water on me!" Jackson said practically fuming. "Yeah, he didn't wake up." Derek said like the story was done with that. Stiles was getting annoyed as well now. Couldn't he ever just get some normal sleep like everyone in this world? It was like he had to raise a bunch of toddlers, and the baby daddy was just as bad. He was too young for kids! "Derek, seriously? You're supposed to be the asult in this situation. Jackson, go dry off and sleep. Derek, Scott isn't going to wake up tonight, so I think you should just carry him to bed. And Isaac sleeps with us because this house apparently doesn't smell right" they all quickly followed his orders, and although Derek didn't seem too thrilled about Isaac sleeping with them, he did seem to understand. So when Stiles went uapstairs, he expacted to just be able to jump into his bed and sleep, but when he got to the alpha room, he saw all pups except Scott already there. Erica saw him looking and shrugged "We heared you taking Isaac upstairs, so we kinda figured.." she said sheepishly. "Yeah, I get it" Stiles said "The house doesn't smell right yet" she blushed but nodded, and snuggled closer into Boyds back. Stiles decided to tell Derek to bring Scott upstairs as well, but Derek had guessed by the emptiness of all the beds where the pups were and had already brought Scott upstairs. Stiles asked him why all the pups complained about the smell, and Derek told him that it was because the house didn't smell like them yet, which made the pups slightly uncomfortable. "And how long is it going to take before the house smells like "us"" Stiles asked. "About a week" Derek answered. Stiles sighed. He wasn't going to sleep in an empty bed the next week.
