Update: Yo! Sorry for the late notice, but I will not be posting on 3/6 or on 3/13 due to midterms. I’ll return on 3/20 with a new chapter. See ya then! A fun experience for all ages. Well, it would've been that. Leveled Plane, the VR multiplayer online game renowned for its innovation and variety. Billions of people play the game on a regular basis. Thirty years after its release, the number of people who've "completed" the game is still a resounding zero. So what happens when a veteran and a noob with nothing left to lose take a crack at it? ... Nothing good... Follow along as Heather and Jamie do everything they can to last one day longer, go one step further, all while dealing with game politics and the slow acceptance of their new reality. This is an idea I've had in my head for a long time, and I really want to do it justice, so I'm taking my time with this monster. The initial plan for this story has it spanning at least 3-4 volumes if everything goes well. Any feedback (as long as it's constructive) is welcomed and appreciated. New chapters are released every Sunday.

Orennox is a wizard who has been around since the world was made. As technology progresses, magic tends to wane and Orennox adapts to the trends. Now called Oren Knox, he is mostly known as a gunfighter, a notoriously cheap gunfighter who will use magic to make one bullet do the work of many so he doesn't have to keep buying ammunition. His quest is to locate the last Earth Nodes, the last strongholds of magic, and harness their power with the goal of bringing back his trapped wife. In order to find these Earth Nodes, he must use the services of the female Diabolists (night witches) who can sense the magic from long distances. Only, Diabolists are extremely rare and there is a psychopathic killer out there who wants them all dead. After losing one Diabolist to fate, Oren must protect his new asset from those who would hunt her down and kill her so he can find enough magic to complete his quest. However, he is not the only wizard left looking for Diabolists, Diabolists have minds of their own, and, according to him, everyone Oren comes in contact with is a sidewinding, low down, scoundrel. No, I have not abandoned this story! I was hit hard by the economic downturn and high gas prices. I had to change careers and I am Just now starting to write again. Chapters coming.

Everyone who connects to Beyul 2.0 must surrender their perceptions of the external world, must sense only the virtual world … even as they move about the real world — a mode called: Zombie Mode. Usually, there are plenty of safeguards to prevent injury to the players. But, Beyul 2.0 has been compromised by religious fanatics who believe that Beyul is an extension of God’s Will. And they have hit squads to hunt down and kill everyone who connects to the new version of Beyul. Follow the first players to enter Beyul. Some are desperate to escape before time runs out; some seek to explore the depths of Beyul 2.0; some are hunters searching for other players; some are looking to solve the murders of the Beyul 2.0 engineers. Beyul 2.0 was programmed to lie. While there is a very detailed character system running behind the scenes, none of the characters have access to their stats or skill screens. This information will sometimes be provided to the reader in the author notes. Comments are welcomed.
