My phone rang, and it was Chaeryeong calling me. It's Saturday, and today is the most important event for the students in my school except for me.
"Hey Chaer, what's up?" I asked.
"What's up? It's 5 PM. We have to be in the venue in an hour," she said and I just laughed.
I'm still not wearing my dress. I'm in my pyjamas. In short, I'm still not ready for prom.
"Chill Chaer. I'll just put on a simple make up, and wear my dress, then I'm done!" I happily cheered, but I heard Chaeryeong whining because of what I said so I stopped.
She ended the call then I heard someone banging my bed room door. I bolted up, and opened it immediately. Chaeryeong showed up in her beautiful prom dress in white. Her red hair styled in waterfall braids.
She looks like Princess Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Why do I have so many frieds that are this gorgeous.
"You're seriously still not ready?" Chaeryeong asked as she throws her purse to my bed, and pushed me down on my vanity chair.
She started brushing my hair, and clipped it to the side. She starts to put on make up on me, and I stayed silent because I can sense that she's annoyed.
"Get ready to be extra beautiful, Ryujin." I shifted my attention to my door, and Yeji and Lia eonnie were both there with their hair iron, and more products to make you look better.

"Oh gosh."
I was already at the venue, and everyone was getting ready for the red carpet. Some of the couples were fixing each other, and some of them are holding each other's hand.
While I... Well... I don't have a date.
You heard that right.
Minju asked me several times to be her date, but I refused of course. I don't want Ryuji to think I'm dating her again. Why does she even think that way?
Then, I saw Taehyun walking to the registration area. He's not with Chaeryeong.
"Where's Chaeryeong? Isn't she your date?" I asked.
"Oh she told me to go first since she has to do something absolutely important." He shrugs his shoulders, and continued writing his name on the paper.
Jaemin arrived, and all of the girls went crazy. They all went to him, but he excused himself. He looks so shy, but I know deep inside him he likes the attention he's getting.
"Bro girls are going crazy. You shouldn't have done that," I said.
"What?" He asked as if he doesn't know, but I can see through his eyes that he knows.
"Oh have you seen Ryujin?" Jaemin asked.
Just then, the door of the venue area opened. A girl with a short blonde hair appeared. She was wearing a blue dress with sequins that made her shine for my eyes even more. She was bowing down her head, that is why I couldn't recognize her.
"Oh there she is," Jaemin cheered and pointed the blonde girl.
"Who is?" I asked.
"Beomgyu!" I looked for the person who called me, and it was a red headed girl. Chaeryeong?! Why the sudden change of hair color?
Then, I saw her pointing the blonde girl. Chaeryeong rolled her eyes when she saw that the girl was shy to show her face. She lifted up her chin, and I felt like my whole body froze. She's blonde. She cuts her hair shorter. Is she broken hearted?

But... she definitely looks gorgeous. As always.
I walked up to where they are, together with Jaemin and Taehyun. I couldn't take my eyes off of Ryujin. She looks stunning.
"You look... decent," I told her. She didn't react. She didn't even hit me on my arm, nor roll her eyes. She's different, and I don't know why.
"Just tell her she looks beautiful bro. The truth won't kill you." Jaemin nudged me, and Taehyun laughed.
"Let's get ready for the red carpet!" Chaeryeong announced, and all of them left us there.
Ryujin couldn't look at me in the eyes. Why is she so uncomfortable? I bended my knees, and looked up at her face. She's wearing make up, but unlike the other girls. It was simpler, and it suits her.
"Look at me," I said.
"Why are you acting so wierd," She whined and looked away.
"Look at me, Ryujin." She looked into my eyes, and I smiled.
"You. You look pretty, so stop hiding your face," I lifted her chin, and her cheeks became redder.
"The red carpet will now begin!" The student council president announced through the megaphone.
I fixed my suit and tie, and gathered up all my courage. I offered my arm to Ryujin, and cleared my throat. "You don't have a date, right?"
"No. I'm actually her date," I turned around and saw my brother, Yeonjun in a tuxedo. Wait? What?
He laughed while holding his stomach, and looked up to me. "He was joking. By the way, your asking skills sucks." Soobin hyung showed up, and now I'm definitely confused.
"Why are you all here?" I asked.
"Moral support," Hyunsuk hyung said cheerfully.
"I didn't see you clearly awhile ago. You look beautiful," Hyunsuk hyung said to Ryujin with a genuine smile.
"No actually. They're here because they drove us. Dad couldn't drive because his car broke down. They saw me, Chaeryeong, and their girlfriends panicking, so they helped us." Ryujin smiled to my brothers like they're the heroes of her story.
"Oh. Since when were you all kind?" I asked them.
"Choi Beomgyu," they grumbled in unison, and I laughed.
"We have to go."
"Huh? Based on my knowledge, you were never my date, so why are you saying that we have to go?" She asked as if she was on a debate.
"Fine. Shin Ryujin. I know it's kind of late, but will you be my date to prom?"
"Here's the flower idiot. You forgot it at home," Soobin hyung threw the flower bracelet, and I caught it with one hand.
The flower given to me was blue as well, that is why it didn't mess up her look. It's like I was made to be her date.
Goodness Ryujin. Because of you I'm now starting to believe in destiny.
"Why are you asking me?" Ryujin asked with a smirk.
"Because you're my best friend." She nodded, and held out her hand for me to put on her bracelet.
I intertwined my hand with hers, and looked into her eyes.
"Or maybe because you're someone more than that."

8 240Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
8 111Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
