Cute my foot.
I was editing the paper of our project while Beomgyu was editing the whole video. It's already 8 PM, and he's still here in my house. My parents don't mind anyway, they already know Beomgyu. He's been my friend since middle school. When we were in kindergarten, we used to fight a lot. In school or on the streets when we play. Our parents had to stop us.
I was stretching my arm when my phone suddenly vibrated. I checked it, and saw a message from Instagram.

I already rolled my eyes before I could even reply. Minju is a good friend, or should I say, she once was to me. I still want her to be my friend, and I approached her in the best way I can after the issue, but it was her who doesn't like me anymore.

"Don't stay up late," I said.
"Says who?" He asked while his eyes were still focused on the video he was editing.
"Says Minju," I answered honestly.
"Sure," he answered without any hesitation.
Shocked by his answer. I smirked and grinned after thinking of the not-so great question I had in mind.
"Do you like Minju?"
"Huh?" He looked up to me, and I was already raising an eyebrow with a smile on my face.
"She's kind to me," my expression changed from being excited to being super bummed. He's kind to you, but not to everyone.

"She's caring too. She's pretty. She's smart as well, third rank in our class. She's—"
"Okay shut up. You're literally being cringey." He chuckles, and rolled his eyes at me.
I guess he likes Minju back.
"Why can't you date Minju?" I asked him one last time.
"I can. I just don't have time I guess."
"Bullshit. If you like someone that much, you'll give time."
"How do you know? Have you dated someone already Ryujin?" He looked at me with a smirk on his face while waiting for my answer.
"You know the answer to that," I looked down on the laptop, to save the paper I've been editing.
"See? Those things take time. Be patient."
He has a point. I mean what do I know? I'm a girl who haven't dated a single boy in my entire life.

"Very good both of you," Professor Yang said. I sighed in relief. I had a series of breakdown last night because the printer wasn't working well.
"The top students of my class wouldn't disappoint me as expected." I smiled, and went back to my seat.

Jaemin is one of my closest friends, or should I say one of our closest friends. He's close with Ryujin too.
Jaemin is also our childhood friend, so basically our houses are close to each other since we were very young. Ryujin's beside mine, and Jaemin's across ours.
It's always the three of us since then, but now that Jaemin's been busy with school stuff like Music. That is why he's been pretty distant with us.
But we still hang out from time to time when he's not busy.
Among all of us, he's the most popular because of his talents. He's a part of the band. He plays the piano. He goes to piano national competitions. He wins all the time.
Well for me and Ryujin? We're pretty much calld the outcasts, but you can't completely call us that. We're famous for being the most intelligent in our class, but not really everyone cares about that.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on.
