Beomgyu's POV

I already, finished my dinner, I hurriedly finished it all, but the funny thing is. That, it wasn't a maid, who brought me my Dinner, is a teenager, who looked like, he is older than my Brother. He had Blue Hair, and Monolids.

And he didn't even leave my side, until I was finished eating. That's kind of odd, as I'm sure, that I didn't request for somebody else to bring me my dinner.

Anyway, enough of that, I still have to read brother's letter. I stood up and went over to my desk, and looked for the envelope, once, I found it, I went back to my Bed and lay down.

Once, I was in a comfortable position again, I quickly opened the envelope, because of excitement. And saw, there were; two letters, something only my brother does, when it's really important.

But, just to realize, it was only going to bring bad news.

Dear: Beomgyu

I'm writing this letter for you, to know, that I'll never see you again, until I can go back in the Kingdom. To tell, you the truth, the reason, why I had to go are because, they had to make your stay, in the Kingdom. So, we had to make a plan to make you stay, in the Kingdom, and so, the only real option was to take Away, the real heir to the Throne, which is me, and give you the throne. At first, it was a hard decision, but it was for you, so even though, it was hard. I only wanted the best for you. If, you must know, I'll be looking forward to see how successful you are in the Future. I will always be with you; I'll guide every step of the way. You should remember, that I love you both, no matter what. You won't be lonely, as I know; you'll also be making a new friend, by using the Pen Pal, mechanism. I want you to know, I'll be with every step of the way.

P.S. Please take care of our Family, and tell my stories to our Baby Brother.

I was literally crying, because of what my brother said. He did that for me. Just for me to stay, in this Kingdom. He already did so much for me, yet, I only brought him Misfortune. I'm so useless; I shouldn't have gotten sick, so at least, my brother can stay here.

But, there's literally nothing, I can do now. The choice has been made, and that also means the damage has already been done.

After that, I took a vow, that.

"I'll do everything in my power, so I can make our Kingdom, Stronger."

Beomgyu's POV

Right now, I woke up a little bit too early, because of what my brother said, it never made me sleep. It just turned me into a paranoid!

I thought, maybe it was only a Dream, and that as soon as I wake up, all of this will be over. But, Nah. The Gods, just told me this Dream of yours, will turn into a Nightmare.

And after, that. I just couldn't sleep anymore. But, I was still thankful, that this is still a Dream, because that only means, that this is, literally a good one, and Nightmare, is the Bad one right?

I decided that I should stop thinking about that, and just write a letter, to my future pen pal. So, even if Soobin hyung, left me, I can still have somebody, to talk to.

I quickly walked towards my desk, and looked for some Paper and a Pen. After, I got them; I quickly sat down, and started writing.

Dear: Pen Pal

Hello! This letter is just something I want to do, to kill boredom, since I'm kind of sick. By, an unknown disease. I just want to ask, If we can be friends? If we can be one. Please reply to me, I'll be waiting for your reply.

P.S. let's keep our identities a secret.

After, I wrote that, I quickly searched for an envelope. To be exact, when I found one, the color was actually a mixture of Blue and Green. I placed the letter inside of the Envelope, and quickly stamped it. I quickly wrote the address of the place I want it to be sent. Which is, the Kingdom of Roselia.

Once, I was sure, that I was done, I quickly called a maid, to send my mail, to the post office, and she quickly hopped to it.

I just hope that this will be a good start for me.

July, 5, 1891

Ryujin's POV

I was studying in my, Study Room, while also signing some letters, from the council and my parents. It's really hard being a Princess; I wonder if I was different, if I wasn't a princess, what kind of lifestyle, will I be able to have?

I was literally, taken away by my daydreaming state, when somebody knocked on my door, causing me to wake up from my daydream.

I asked the anonymous person.

With that being said, by the anonymous person, I was in relief.

I said, while sighing.

She quickly came in, and I noticed that she had a letter, than had the mixture of the colors Blue and Green.

Is that another one of my Parent's Letters? If, it is, I'm literally going to storm in their study rooms, and rant about it. I stood up, and went near her.

I asked, and pointed at the letter, while raising an eyebrow.

Mel said.

I said, and went over to my Desk, to continue my disrupted work.

Mel said, as she put, the mail, on my desk, and quickly left.

As she left, I quickly murmured under my breath.

"Why does this always happen to me?"

Before I even knew it, it was already night time. I'm thinking this is super unhealthy for me; I've always been over timing with my work.

As I stretched my body, I started cleaning up my desk, and started organizing back the books and files. Well, not until, I noticed that there was an envelope on my desk.

I quickly recalled that it was a letter from the other Kingdom, Clarines. And it was not addressed to anybody, it also had no name. I'm guessing this is from the 'Pen Pal' thing, Mother and Father, has been talking about.

I quickly sat down on of the guest chairs, and opened the envelope. I was startled, when I was greeted, by fancy writing, not to lie, but, it did kind of intrigued me, in investigating more, about this letter.

I took it out of its, envelope, it was all written so neatly, maybe it was written, by a girl? I read, it.

So, I was right! It is the Pen Pal thing! And it also said that the sender wants our identities to be a secret, but also wants to be friends?

What, kind of crazy person would like that? Well, whoever that is, I don't like it. Well, since my parents, have been trying to get me to socialize, to some other Princess and Prince, of the other Kingdom.

I'm guessing, this is a good sign? Well, I'll just take this as a good sign.

I quickly hopped over to my desk, and took some Paper and my Pen, and started writing.

Hi, thank you for sending over that letter, here. I was actually being forced by my parents, to make friends with somebody else, and not only my sister, or well, at least talk to them. Excuse me, but May I ask, are you from a higher rank family or, lower? My family, might forbid me from talking to you, well it was nice talking to you.

Author's POV

It has been months ever since Beomgyu and Ryujin started talking. They became Best Friends through, writing letters. It was kind of hard for Ryujin to adjust, to this new lifestyle of hers, as every week; she has to wait, for the mail man to come, at their doorstep.

But, it was fun, as while she was waiting for the mail, she spent time with her Personal Maid, Mel. They were just usually talking about, who would be the secret pen pal, could be. But, they already know the sender's gender. In a letter, he did a introduction, but didn't really say his name.

Dear: Secret Pen Pal

Since, your parents wouldn't want you to talk to somebody you don't know that much, then, we should introduce ourselves, well, we aren't really going to be saying our names to each other. So, I'll start, these are some information about me:

1. I live in Clarines, with my Parents, an older brother, and younger one. Well, the older one left.

2. I'm currently on my Bed, while making this letter. I'm kind of sick, with an unknown disease.

3. I have a high rank in the family business.

4. I really want to know want to know more about your kingdom and rulers.

5. My Birthday is on March, 13, 1882. I'm also a Boy.

P.S. what's with the hearts?

But, the maid namely Mel, being herself, she ships them, although she doesn't know who he is. She wants to know, as he is also the one who makes, the Princess happy. Even if she's in a bad mood, once reading one of his letters, her mood will literally brighten up.

So, being the Princess that she is, replied to that letter, replying some facts about her, as well.

Dear: Secret Pen Pal

Hi, your letter, just recently got to me, but got mixed up with some of my parents but, it's okay now. Anyway, since you gave me some of your information, I'll give some of mine as well.

1. I live in Roselia. I live with both of my parents, and younger sister.

2. I have a lot of responsibilities, as of the moment, and It's annoying!

3. I also have a high rank in the family.

4. I haven't been outside my place. I also have super strict parents.

5. My Birthday is on April, 17, 1882. I'm also a Girl.

P.S. Nothing, I just want to do that to the letters I always sent, but, my parents wouldn't allow me, so, you don't mind right?

Secret Pen Pal

After, the Princess sent that letter; she always had a feeling that, he will be the one, who'll brighten her mood up. Although, they don't really know each other, they are certain, to be each other's best friends.

Although, sometimes when she reads the letter she receives from him, she starts to smile, and her heart beat suddenly beats fast. She always, wonders why, though.

As for the Prince, it also happens to him, he is always so anxious to see her letter. He always, wonders, when will they actually meet?

He wants to actually be cured, and go to that Kingdom to meet his, Pen Pal Friend. But, he might not even see her anymore, as his condition continues to worsen.

He always, coughs, and sneezes, for the past few days. But, that's not the worst thing, he also, had a fever, while also having rashes all over his body, while also having nosebleeds, and tummy aches.

They called all the Doctors, and they all have answered nothing!

Although, he wants to be cured, already. He can't just wish for it, he'll just wait for it, and until that time comes, he'll just be writing with his Pen Pal Friend. Waiting for that time to come.
