Summary: Jimmy, Chris, and Chandler come up with a plan to set Karl up with his new crush

A/n: lmao I really need to stop writing Karl fics until I've written for the people in this book who have no fics, I just love him sm though. Also I feel like a lot of the language I use is repetitive and I'm sorry for that but keep in mind I write in the middle of the night so I'm usually pretty tired lmao.

I'd also like to apologise for not posting but it was Christmas and stuff and not being able to see my friends or my s/o really bummed me out but this is a really long fic to make up for it!

Also lmk if you guys would prefer more updates with shorter fics or less frequent updates but longer fics.

"Hey guys and welcome to another challenge video!" Jimmy said to the camera with a huge grin. "Today we're going to be locking two teams in a room with each other, which ever team gets fed up and leaves the room first looses. The winning team gets twenty grand to split between them where as the loosing team gets slimed!"

He paused for dramatic effect and I can only assume he was gonna edit something cool there in the silence.

"So let's meet our teams! Team A is Chris and Chandler!"

They both ran into shot and high fived.

"We've got this in the bag I could never get tired of Chan Chans company." Chris said while looking up at him with heart eyes making everyone chuckle slightly.

"And then we got team B! Karl and the newest member of the Mr Beast team Y/n!" Jimmy said gesturing is to step into camera shot on the other side of him.

"No we have this one in the bag because we've already bonded over our love of Minecraft and we haven't known each other long enough to hate each other yet." Karl said with a giggle. Resting his elbow on my head.

I nodded and smiled at everyone "Yeah no way I'm loosing my first challenge so you guys better get ready."

Karl held his hand out for me to high five and we smiled at each other.

We'd only met a few weeks ago but he seemed really cool. Like the kinda guy that you could talk too for hours without getting bored, which is probably extremely useful for this challenge.

Me, Karl, Chris and Chandler followed Jimmy into a building where he lead us to two rooms.

"Alright contestants, these rooms will be your home for, well however long you can stick it." He chuckled slightly and I peered into the room.

There was a big open space in the middle, a small tv, a little screen on the wall that was a camera into the other room I'm pretty sure, and a separate small bathroom meaning I wouldn't have to piss in a bucket which was a win. That was about it.

"Does this just seem a bit too easy to you guys?" I raised an eyebrow and looked at the expressions on everyone's faces who seemed to be thinking the same thing.

"Oh guys don't worry there will be some surprises a long the way." Jimmy winked at the camera and laughed to himself.

Concerning to say the least.

"Alright guys get in your rooms!" Jimmy yelled setting off an air horn I didn't even know he had.

I jumped slightly and me and Karl darted into the room closet to us. Chris and Chandler going into the other one.

"Your challenge starts............ now!" Everyone clapped and yelled out of excitement.

"We got this in the bag." Karl said smiling at me.

"Oh hell yeah no way I'm leaving this room, I'm determined." I chuckled and lied down on the big space of floor.

"Are we going to be sleeping on the floor?" Karl frowned slightly and sat down next to me.

"Fucking hope not." I chuckled slightly and waved at one of the cameras on the wall.

Me and Karl chatted and messed around infront of the cameras for a bit until Jimmy walked into the room.

"Hey guys! I brought a surprise." He grinned at us causing me to give Karl a concerned look.

Jimmy rolled two huge wooden boards into the room with balloons pinned to them.

"Alright so one board has good prizes and the other has dares or difficult questions on it. You have a choice, you can take a chance and throw two darts at one board, although you won't know if it's the prizes or the dares. Meaning you could get two great things or two dares. Or you can throw one dart at both boards, meaning you'll get one dare and one prize."

I looked over at Karl, trying to start a silent conversation. That didn't work.

"I think it'll be stupid to take a chance." Karl said scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah I agree, at least we'll get one definite prize." I nodded and eyed up the board.

"Yeah Jimmy we're gonna go for one board each." Karl said smiling with confidence from his decision.

"Alright, both of you choose a board." Jimmy handed both of us a dart each.

"You can choose first." Karl said giving me a little smile.

"I want the left!" I ran over to the board, from what I could tell the paper in those balloons where smaller than the ones on the other board, whether that's good or bad I didn't know.

"Alright I guess I'm taking this one then." He chuckled and stood infront of the other board.

"Alright Y/n you go first." Jimmy said leaning on Karl's board with a smile.

I lined up my dart with a ballon directly in the middle of the board. I hit it first try and high fived Karl out of excitement.

Jimmy walked over to the paper and read it out "Y/n you have won a king sized mattress, two pillows, and a blanket."

"Yes we can sleep!" I went to high five Karl again but he pulled me into an excited hug instead.

"Yay I won't throw my back out by sleeping on the floor!" He chuckled before his face dropped. "Wait that means I have to do a dare. Shit."

I giggled and pulled back from his hug "yeah good luck."

He sighed and went to throw a dart.

When the ballon popped Jimmy happily went to retrieve the dare.

"Spend the first day hand cuffed to each other. Ha that fucking sucks for you guys."

"I thought this was Karl's dare!" I frowned jokingly and Karl laughed at me.

"Suffer with me!"

Jimmy brought out a pair of hand cuffs.

"You guys have fun with these." He grinned at me and hooked one side onto Karl's wrist.

"Ha not the first time a guys said that to me while holding hand cuffs." I laughed at my own joke and watched Karl kneel over slightly as Jimmy wheezed.

"Alright Y/n let's calm down there." He snorted and clipped the other side of the cuffs to my wrist.

"Your mattress will be here soon, have fun! But not in the way Y/n is thinking." Jimmy winked at me and walked out of the room.

I laughed into my hand that wasn't attached to Karl's and rolled my eyes.

"Well this is going to become an issue." Karl said lifting the hand that was connected to mine.

"Yeah we'll work with it though." I laughed slightly and turned around when there was a knock on the door frame.

Two guys walked in carrying a mattress, pillows, and a blanket. They threw it into the middle on the room as me and Karl thanked them.

"Whoo I've never been so happy to see a bed." He jumped down onto it, dragging me with him.

"I have to physically hold myself back from making another sex joke right now." I chuckled and sat down next to him.

"Ew your gross." He laughed slightly before pointing at the monitor on the floor that was showing is Chris and Chandlers room "Look their both going for the same bored!"

We watched and they popped the balloons and Jimmy walked over to read the paper inside.

From their reaction it did not look good.

Soon enough Jimmy was cracking an egg of Chris's head and Chandler was answering some sort of question we couldn't hear.

Karl laughed hysterically at Chris's face and I giggled slightly, mainly at Karl's laughing though.

"Yeah we definitely made the right choice there." I said watching Jimmy walk out the room leaving them with nothing but egg yolk.

"Yeah hundred percent. We should try and annoy them." Karl wiggled his eyebrows at me causing me to laugh a little bit.

"What do you have in mind?"

"On the count of three scream as loud as you can for as long as you can."

I laughed slightly and nodded, sitting out properly to ensure I was as loud as I could be.

"Alright, one, two, THREE!" We both started screaming at the top of our lungs for a solid ten ish seconds.

Once we stopped and fell into a pit of laughter there was a moments silence before a big thud on the wall and the distant yelling of Chandler saying "Shut the fuck up!"

Karl high fived me and lied back down on the mattress.

We killed some more time by chatting and making noise to annoy the other team before Jimmy walked back in carrying two covered dishes. Two men with the previous boards came in behind him.

"Alright guys I've got two things for you this time."

"Yippie!" I said sarcastically raising my cuffed wrist up to really drive my point.

Jimmy laughed slightly before continuing.

"So here's your food, picked out by Chris." He smiled at me before taking the lids off and revealing one orange slice each.

"Your taking the piss." Karl said deadpanning at him.

"Nope, Bon appetit! Also before I go, THE BOARDS ARE BACK BABY!" He handed us the plates and gestured at the boards behind him.

I groaned and flopped back onto the bed.

"Although this time because you know which boards which the rules have changed. You now both get one shot at the good board and two shots and the bad board." He grinned at us and I just flipped him off.

"Well that was just rude and will need to be blurred."

"Alright let's get this over with." I stood up and took Karl with me.

"Wanna start with the bad board?" Karl said smiling slightly at me.

"Yeah sure, you go first." He took a dart from Jimmy and threw it at a random ballon.

Jimmy walked over and unravelled the paper "Ooh it's a question, what's your current relationship situation."

Karl glanced awkwardly at the cameras and frowned to himself.

"Did an eleven year old girl write that?" I asked trying to make Karl laugh and feel less awkward.

Karl chuckled slightly before answering the question "I'm single and I like someone. I don't think they like me back though so ultimately I'm very single."

"Alright, y/n your go." Jimmy said handing me a dart.

I sighed at threw it at a bottom row balloon.

Jimmy unravelled the paper with a grin "A dare! Text your mom pretending to be a boyfriend attempting to introduce himself."

I chuckled slightly and gave Jimmy a weirded out look "these dares are shit."

"Yeah I know I struggled okay." He laughed and handed me my phone.

I sighed and opened my texts with my mum.

I read out what I was typing and the replies as I went.

Y/n:

Hey Mrs L/n, I'm Y/n's boyfriend I wanted to introduce myself since Y/n hasn't introduced us yet.

Mom:

Haha Y/n very funny I know you don't have a boyfriend.

"rude you'd think she'd have a bit of faith in me."

Y/n:

I'm not joking Mrs L/n

Mom:

Yeah I'm sure, prove it

"Karl take a picture with me." I chuckled and opened the camera app.

"Won't your mom think we're dating then?" He looked at me confused but shuffled in to get a picture anyway.

"Yeah it doesn't matter though." I opened the camera app and went to take a selfie of me and Karl, as I went to take it I kissed him on the cheek to make it look believable.

Karl went bright red and shied away after that causing Jimmy to laugh at him.

I sent the photo to my mom and waited for a response.

Mom:

Wow Y/n nice catch I'm proud!

Everyone laughed at that and I rolled my eyes.

"That's my mom for you. Next balloon!" I quickly opened my texts with one of my friends and shot him a text asking him to grab two meals from McDonalds for me and bring it to me. I quickly sent him my location before handing Jimmy back my phone.

Jimmy handed Karl another dart and he threw it at another balloon.

"The paper says, after this challenge you have to dye your hair the colour of your team mates choosing." Jimmy laughed and offered me a high five.

"Y/n don't do me dirty here." Karl gave me puppy dog eyes but I just laughed lightly at him.

"I think you'd look cute with pink hair." I ruffled his hair and smiled to myself, content with my choice.

I noticed Karl blush again but didn't think anything of it as I moved my hand from his hair to take another dart from Jimmy.

I threw it at a balloon and watched Jimmy retrieve the paper.

"Give up your food of the evening."

"Oh no my orange slice how will I live." I pouted at Jimmy who just laughed and removed my plate from the room.

"Anyways on to the prizes board!" Karl said leading me over to stand infront of the other balloon board.

Jimmy handed him a dart and he didn't hesitate to pop a balloon.

Jimmy retrieved the paper as me and Karl high fived.

"You have won the ability to watch one Disney film tonight."

"Hell yeah!" I gave Karl a quick hug before turning back to Jimmy.

He handed me a dart and I lined up my shot.

Jimmy went to receive the paper and read it.

"You have won a mini fridge stocked with what ever drink you want."

I didn't even hesitate before yelling my response "Pink and Ultra red monster!"

"You love monster?!" Karl exclaimed turning to face me excitedly.

"Yeah it's my favourite along with Capri suns." I laughed lightly at his excitement and turned to face Jimmy again.

"I'm gonna leave you guys be and go talk to the other team, your stuff will be here shortly."

He smiled at us and walked out the room.

~ Switch To Jimmy's Pov ~

I closed the door behind me and made sure to walk away before talking to the camera.

"If any of you guys are wondering why the hell were those questions and dares so bad and weird? Well let me remind you of the real plan for today's challenge, Chris and Chandler informed me the other day that Karl seems to have a slight crush on the newest member of the team. Even if this challenge is real and they do win or loose the main goal is for them to end up together. Obviously if they don't I'll edit this out of something but I got my fingers crossed and fifty dollars riding on it so they better."

I laughed lightly and headed towards Chris and Chandlers room.

"So the dares and questions are all a plot to get one of them to admit their feelings towards the other. This is very different to my usual videos but this is because Chris wanted to help out Karl. And I can get a great title out of it."

~Time skip to later that evening and switch back to Y/n's pov ~

Me and Karl were sat on the air mattress watching Meet The Robinsons.

We were happily eating McDonald's that my friend had dropped off a couple minutes ago, it took a lot to convince Jimmy it wasn't cheating but he caved in the end.

Although we soon discovered it was extremely hard to eat while hand cuffed. I'd accidentally punched myself with Karl's hand multiple times which ended up with him apologising frantically.

Soon enough we got the gist of it and got into some sort of coordinated rhythm.

"God I love this film." I said with a little laugh as the T-Rex appeared.

"Honestly it's one of Disney's most underrated. It's literal gold." He giggled and threw our rubbish to the other side of the room.

I nodded in agreement and sipped my monster.

Soon enough the film was almost over and after a very in depth debate on time travel I was trying not to fall asleep.

At this point we were both under the covers on the mattress and getting comfortable enough to fall asleep.

"My wrist hurts, I don't think I'm gonna get any sleep." Karl said pouting and pulling at the cuffs slightly.

"Yeah same, it's annoying. I'm sure we can line our hands up to a point where it hurts less." I started moving my wrist but got no success.

"Hang on I got an idea." He moved his hand to hold mine, making me blush slightly.

"What are you doing?"

"See, now because our hands are close it's less strain and it hurts less." He smiled at me, obviously proud of himself.

"It actually works! Your a genius Jacobs." I chuckled to myself and rested my head on his shoulder without thinking about it.

"O-oh thanks." He giggled timidly and I couldn't help but notice a small blush appear on his cheeks.

I smiled to myself and decided to spark a conversation about Disney films.

Soon enough Karl was going on about Ratatouille and I found myself drifting off to his rambling with a little smile on my face.

~ Time Skip To The Next Morning ~

The noise of what seemed to be Chris and Chandler screaming woke me up.

I cuddled into my pillow with a frown and slowly started to remember what was happening.

I didn't want to look up knowing that there was cameras filming me and I wasn't prepared for that then.

"I swear if they don't shut up they won't live to get any prize money." I grumbled to myself.

The sound of Karl giggling startled me slightly due to the fact that I was half asleep still.

What really scared me though was the fact that I could feel his chest moving under my head as he laughed.

That's when I seemed to wake up properly and take actual notice of my surroundings.

I had my face hidden in Karl's chest and I could feel one of his hands combing through my hair. His other hand seemed to be holding mine and his thumb was drawing little shapes on the side of my hand.

I jumped up off him and to the other side of the bed but the handcuffs stopped me from moving far and startled me even more since I'd forgotten about them.

"Holy shit you alright?" Karl asked sitting up and looking at me in confusion.

"Uh yeah, yeah I'm fine. Sorry that I fell asleep on you that couldn't have been comfortable for you." I ran my free hand through my hair to try and look somewhat presentable.

"Oh no really it's fine, I slept great." He smiled widely at me and the awkwardness I was feeling seemed to die down.

"That's great. How long have you been up for?" I moved to sit next to him again since the handcuffs were digging into my wrist.

"Not long, I actually had ten minutes of peaceful silence till those idiots started yelling." He rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at the camera, assuming that was the one the boys could see from their room.

"Sorry Y/n we didn't mean to wake you up! We were just annoying Karl!" Chandler yelled through the walls causing me to laugh but also stick my middle finger up at the camera.

Karl laughed lightly at that rolled his eyes.

"Anyway you fell asleep on me last night before I could finish explaining why Ratatouille is the best Disney film." Karl said looking at me in all seriousness, trying to re-spark the debate we had yesterday.

"Oh don't even start, Princess and The Frog is obviously better!"

After about an hour of battling these points back and forth we both started to get bored.

"I miss my phone." I said with a little sigh, eyeing up the door.

"Yeah, I miss minecraft. I was supposed to stream with Alex last night." Karl said also frowning at the doorway.
