"Tomorrow L'manburg will be gone. We're going to bedrock this time." Dream stood tall as he spoke, his words causing even me to shiver as he turned around.
Techno followed him as they walked away from the gathering at the community house.
Dream had the discs now, he had all the power. L'manburg didn't stand a chance.
I wasn't sure if L'manburg deserved this but I follow Dream, through everything, I always had.
Back when there was no L'manburg there was me Dream, George and Sapnap. We built this land by hand. Starting with the community house. It felt like a part of me died with it.
As time passed though more people joined us and split off into their own lands, causing the first L'manburg war.
Me, Dream, George and Sapnap against Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo and Fundy.
I'm not sure how one argument over independence had led to this but I've followed Dream this far I couldn't turn back now.
Plus as harsh as the first war was I have many fond memories of it.
For example mine and Sap's first kiss as he bandaged my hand next to the fire after we won.
Kissing him after the war felt like a victory within its self.
Sapnap was sweet, so sweet to me it feet like he was two people.
Dream's Sapnap, the arsonist pet killer who feared no one.
And my Sapnap, the guy that giggles when flustered and hides his face in my hair after a compliment because he finds his blush embarrassing.
My fondest memories were from after the first war.
The two of us running through a burning forest that we'd set alight.
Him pulling me in by my wrist in the middle of the fire, taking a second to press his lips against mine as the trees burn around us. The flames illuminating the feeling of sparks even more.
He was my everything.
I turned to follow after Technoblade, his tall frame and dark red cape was an intimidating figure to follow. Making me feel smaller than I was.
I glanced over at my shoulder for Sap, usually in situations like this he would put an arm around my shoulder.
Protecting me from the reality of what was about to happen and comforting himself on the fact he'll help cause it.
But he didn't move, instead staying put in between the L'manburg citizens.
"Sapnap, come on." I tried to make my voice sound stronger than it was, I always felt weak when this many people were looking at me. I hated it.
I was known for my combat skills, Dream had taken me under his wing years ago. Meaning I'd learnt from the best.
I wasn't weak, everyone knew that. I just hated feeling like I was.

Sapnap shook his head, causing me to stop walking. Unsure on what I was about to do.
"Y/n I can't. I can't hurt anyone else." He scratched the back on his neck anxiously and looked at the floor, not catching my eyes.
I swallowed hard and just stared at him in awe, unsure where this change of heart was coming from.
"What?" I asked with a slight voice crack, suddenly aware of the fact that Techno and Dream had stopped to wait for me.
"I can't hurt all these people, their my friends." The confliction in his face becoming more present as he looked up, studying the hurt in my own eyes "Stay with me. Do the right thing, please."
I stared at him dumbfounded for a second.
He wanted me to betray Dream.
I owed everything to Dream, he took me in and taught me everything I know. He provided me with food and a home, he surrounded me with love. I owed him my life.
I shook my head slightly, cleaning my throat before speaking "I'm not a traitor."
I turned my back to him, walking between Dream and Techno.
"What means more to you Y/n. Loyalty, or me." He called out after me, causing my eyes to water as I didn't turn to look over my shoulder.
Dream put an arm over my shoulder, pulling me into his side as we walked. I think he meant for it to be comforting, the way it was when Sapnap did it. But instead it felt like he was holding me there, by his side. Unable to turn and make my own decision.
Dream and Techno spent all night planning, coming up with their attack plan.
I just sat next to them, playing Sapnap's words over and over in my head.
Dream snapped me out of my own thoughts as he tapped my knee, causing me to look up at him.
"Head to bed, you seem tired." He smiled softly at me as he spoke, for once not wearing his mask.
I shook my head slightly, sitting up straighter "I don't know the game plan though, what do you need me for?"
Techno butted in before Dream could respond "You have a simple job, I've laid obsidian paths above L'manburg. You just need to get up there and turn on the TNT cannons, just flip the switch. Easy. They'll be expecting someone so you might have company. Most of them will be preoccupied with me and Dream though, so I assume you can handle it. I've heard rumours that your skilled with a lighter? After the cannons I just need you to go around and set fire to things, houses, farms, any sort of supplies."
I nodded along as he spoke, it sounded easy enough.
"I'm not expecting you to fight him Y/n. Leave the fighting to us this time." Dream said with a fake smile.
I could tell he was trying to make me feel better, but he'd not only lost an alliance today. He'd lost his best friend as well.
I nodded and stood up from my chair "Yeah I understand, I'm going to head to bed."
Both of them nodded, turning back to the L'manburg map on the table. Not having anything else to add to the conversation.

I walked up the mine and Sap's room, climbing into bed with a sigh. Unable to sleep without the feeling of him next to me.
~~~~~
"Once the first Wither is placed I need you to already be on the roof, everyone will be distracted so it'll give you the chance to jump onto the obsidian path. I'm sure you can handle the rest along then." Techno said as we stood on the outskirts of L'manburg, about to start the chaos.
I nodded, not feeling the need to give him a worded response, instead I just flicked my lighter open and closed absentmindedly.
Dream appeared from the bushes next to us with a nod "Their all in the middle, it's now or never."
Techno gripped at his sword and gave me a slight nod before walking in the direction Dream had just came from.
"Good luck." Dream said to me, walking after him before I got my chance to respond.
I sighed and looked over at the land I was about to destroy.
I had nothing against L'manburg, I never did.
If anything I had a high regard of respect for them all. After everything that country and it citizens had been through they were all still willing to fight for it again.
It was admirable.
But alas I was a loyal friend, and I wasn't going to let my morals get in the way of that.
I saw Techno and Dream walk into the group of L'manburg citizens.
As techno started talking I started walking to a house on the outskirts.
I boosted myself up the wall, gripping onto the roof as I hauled myself up.
I hid behind the chimney as Techno monologged, not interested enough to listen.
What did get my attention though was the monster that he summoned.
As the wither arose I stood.
I took a deep breath before I backed up to the edge of the roof, building enough courage to start running.
I jumped off the edge of the roof, barely making it onto the obsidian. Scraping my arms across the cold stone as I landed on my side.
Luckily the monster had what seemed to be everyone distracted, meaning no one noticed my rocky landing.
I got up, quickly brushing myself down before I started running down the obsidian paths, looking for this switch.
I sped up as I spotted it, just wanting to get this over with.
Although before I could reach it I was pulled back.
My back slammed into someone's chest as my wrist was tugged backwards harshly.
I panicked slightly, having not brought a sword since I wasn't supposed to fight.
I looked up to be met with a distraught looking Sapnap, causing my worry to ease slightly.
"Sap, let go of me." I tugged my wrist slightly as he shook his head, using his other arm to hold me against him.
"Y/n I can't do that. I can't let you hurt all these people, I know you don't want to." He spoke quietly, his voice hardly louder than a whisper.
I relaxed against him slightly, seeing no need to fight against him since I wouldn't win. "I have too, I promised. I'm not a traitor."
I felt him tense against me at the word, traitor. Obviously feeling called out.
"Your not a traitor just because you don't want to do something bad. You've done everything for him. You don't owe him anything." He pressed a kiss to my head, causing me to choke up slightly.
"I do though, I owe him everything. He saved me Sap, he brought me to you. I'm always going to be in debt to him." I looked down at my feet, struggling in his grip slightly again. The way he held me just made me what to give in.
"The further you follow him the more your going to loose, trust me Y/n. We've lost more than we know. I don't want to hurt you Y/n, or loose you. But I can't let you hurt all these people, I can't hurt anyone else." He held onto me tighter, making it harder to struggle against his arms.
"What about me Sapnap! Your hurting me! I can't even sleep without you next to me yet you don't hesitate to leave me for all these fucking strangers. That hurt!" I pushed hard against his arms, frantic now. He wouldn't budge.
"Y/n please, don't make me sound like a villain."
We stood in a silence for a second as I pushed against him. Finally thinking of a way to get out.
I pushed myself sidewards instead, causing him off guard as his grip loosened. I fell, closing my eyes as I braced myself to tumble all the way to the floor of L'manburg.
But instead he grabbed my wrist pulling me back onto the platform slightly.
"Are you fucking crazy! You could've died." He looked at me in horror, the shock he was going through was causing him to freeze up slightly.
I shook my head "I wouldn't have died, you love me too much to let me die."
"Still you took that risk! Why would you do that?!" He ran his hand through his hair, an anxious habit of his I'd picked up on.
"Because I knew you'd catch me, and panic." I took a small step back, he didn't seem to notice though. Too busy trying to get over the fact I almost fell to my death.
"What?" He looked at me in utter confusion, still not grasping at what I was doing.
I frowned to myself as I took another step back. He looked between me and the switch, finally figuring out what I was doing.
I knew he wouldn't let me die. He'd catch me and panic, he was always to caring for his own good. He didn't hold back onto me after I almost fell, he was too scared I'd try to do it again. But he was too preoccupied with trying to help me to notice that now I was stood right next to Technos switch.
"Y/n.. don't. Please." He took a small step towards me, causing me to step towards the edge in response. Making him stop in his tracks completely.
"I'm sorry Sap, it was never meant to be." I quickly moved my hand to hit the button as he ran towards me, setting off the canons before he had the chance to push me back.
