"What do we think chat?" I asked into my mic, looking at the words flying by. 'BeeKin' seemed to be the answer that popped up the most. "BeeKin? Alright, if you guys say so." My cursor drifted over the button, and I clicked.
I spawned into an area, and I went for the tree next to me immediately. Punching down the tree, I noticed the weakness effects. Looking up, I realized why. There were leaves right above my head, and I guess that counts as a low ceiling. Breaking the leaves, my strength stats went back to normal.
Destroying the rest of the tree, I made a crafting table and my tools. I would need them to get my blocks for building my house. Maybe by everybody else... Now that I think about it, where is everyone?
U/n: Where are you guys?
Nihachu: Are you on higher ground right now?
I paused, am I on higher ground? Looking around, I sighed. I was not. Climbing up a hill, I reached the top and looked around. My arms burned when I reached the top, and I picked dirt out from under my nails.
U/n: I am now.
Ph1LzA: Look into the sky, you should see me.
Phil was right. In the distance, I could see a speck that was definitely getting closer. He landed in front of me, kicking up a small cloud of dust. Coughing, I waved the dust out of my face and was met with the grinning face of Phil. "Was that necessary?" I asked, maneuvering a piece of sand out of my eye.
"No," Phil chirped, "But it was fun."
"Oh, Phil!" I squealed, circling him, "You have wings now!" It was true, Phil now had a pair of huge black wings. They looked like darkness made into feathers. Phil makes a popping noise with his mouth, "So do you," he said.
"I do?" I asked, looking over my shoulder, trying to see them. But I couldn't because, well you know, they were attached to me. Phil let out a loud laugh, gesturing me to follow him. "Come on. You can see them once we get back to the others."
"How far are we anyway?" I asked, trailing behind him.

"Eh, not that far. A three-minute walk at the most."
"Wait," I hesitated, causing Phil to stop as well. "We have wings, right? Why don't we just fly?" Phil looked at me, "Do you even know how to fly?" I shrugged, my wings twitching. "It never hurts to learn."
Shrugging in surrender, Phil spread his wings. I followed his example, feeling my wings move from their resting position into the correct spot. Philza flapped his wings and slowly lifted off the ground. I flapped mine at the same pace as his, but nothing happened.
Oh, wait.
I'm a bee, and bee wings definitely move faster than bird wings. Unless we're talking about hummingbirds, but that's beside the point. I quickened the speed of my wings by a lot, and slowly but surely, I lifted off the ground.
Adrenaline took over, and I shot into the clouds, leaving Phil behind. Flying was... an interesting feeling, to say the least.
"Wow", I whispered, looking at the ground below me.
Everything seemed so small...
The animals, trees, everything.
Eventually, slowly but surely, I drifted back to the earth, landing in a lake with a loud splash. Swimming to the surface, I looked around. Trees, cow, sheep, flowers, Niki, pi-.
Wait, Niki?
"Hi, U/n!" She chirped, swimming towards me. "Ah, Niki!" I said, still treading water, "Do you mind if I get to land first. It'll be a lot easier to talk."
"Oh, of course."
Pulling myself out of the water and onto the dry land, I rubbed my shoulders. I sat on the dirt ledge of the pond, kicking my legs back and forth in the water. Niki swam up and poked her head out of the water, just enough for her mouth to breach the surface.
"So, you chose the Merling class?" I inquired, and Niki nodded. She raised her hands out of the water and put them into mine, opening her fingers. Raising them to my face, I gasped. "Your fingers are webbed! Kind of like a frog!"
And they were. In between each of Niki's fingers was a thin, see-through material stretching between each digit.
"Yeah! And the webbing is on my feet, too. It makes it a little harder to walk on land though..." She trailed off, "I can help you with the resources you can't reach if you want." I offered, and Niki nodded quickly.
"What class did you choose?" Niki asked, and I turned around. "I chose BeeKin! It's a new class, like how Charlie got a slime added."
"Oh!" Niki gasped, "You do look quite like a bee! You've even got their kind of wings."
I nodded, "Speaking of which, they're soaked." Buzzing my wings even faster, I could feel the excess water fly off. Drops of water flying in every direction.
"Ow!" came a voice from the woods, causing me to turn around.
"Ranboo!" I exclaimed, "Did I get water on you? You're Enderian, right?" Ranboo nodded, "Yeah, I chose Enderian. You did get a little water on me. Not a big deal, but it still hurt a little."
There was a small laugh, "You're such a big baby, Ranboo." Tubbo said, coming up from behind him. Although, he did freeze when he saw me. "Tubbo?" I said, waving a hand in front of his face.
WilburSoot fell from a high place.
"Oop", I said, "There goes Wilbur." That seemed to snap Tubbo out of whatever state he was in. "You're a bee!" He exclaimed, bouncing.
I smiled, Tubbo really does like bees' huh?
"I am a bee, thank you for noticing." I said, and Tubbo tilted his head, "Did you know you've got antennae?" Feeling around my head, I realized that he was right.
At the top of my head, starting above my ears, were two fuzzy antennae that curled over and rested just above my eyes. Apparently, the mod had changed my mask too. I now had a yellow mask with black around the eye holes.
"Wait, hold on, let me check out my wings," I said, holding up a hand for the others to wait. Walking to the waters' edge, I peered at my reflection.
My jaw hung open.
Over my shoulders, I could see a pair of large, translucent wings. Vein-like lines intersected across them, and the light danced off in rainbows.
"Holy shit..." I whispered.
I stared until I realized everyone was waiting for me. "Oh, sorry", I said, scratching my cheek, "I got distracted." Niki giggled and the others smiled, "Don't worry", Ranboo said, "The rest of us were just as amazed when we logged on."
Smiling, I turned to the woods.
"Alright, let's get this started."

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

Arnar the Dungeon
Arnar is a dungeon core. Everybody knows dungeons are evil, man-eating entities hell-bent on killing and absorbing whatever wanders inside their depths. The problem is no one ever told him that. Well, the truth is no one ever told him anything and he refused powers-that-be when they tried to make him into the proper dungeon. That should teach them not resurrect people into dungeon cores. Now it is too late. He has a perfect plan to become the best dungeon on the continent and nothing will stand in his way. Especially something called common sense. Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way. The cover was created with the help of http://fantasynamegenerators.com/emblem-creator.php I hope you will enjoy my story.
