The stuff M/n talks to Wilbur about is part of his in-game canon for this story, so pay attention.

/3rd person POV/
Scrolling through Discord, M/n clicked on a random VC, turning on his mic and headset. Waiting for someone to join...
Eventually, he wandered around his room but paused. In the corner, sat a piano. One he hadn't played in forever. Nostalgia made his heart sting, and he walked over.
M/n sat by the keys of his piano, fingers floating over them. It had been so long since he had touched a piano, even a keyboard. His heart felt like it was floating around in his chest. Never anchored to one place. The piano always reminded M/n so much of him...
His father.
Don't get it wrong, they had a good relationship. He had just passed away a few years ago, and M/n hadn't touched a piano since. M/n's fathers' last wish had been to just listen to his son play. But since then, he hadn't touched one.
Although, since he started streaming with the Smp members, the urge to play had gotten stronger. Almost all of them played some type of instrument. Even though M/n played both the piano and guitar, he was much better at the piano. Touching down on the cold keys, M/n's fingers softly pressed down.
The soft hum of the piano made M/n smile softly. It brought back a lot of memories, some good, some bad.
He started to zone out, hands floating over the keys as he played. His voice came out soft and silky, unlike when he sang for L'Manburg. Here he was relaxed and comfortable. This was his place of calm.
Welcome to Wonderland, we've got it all
Potions and pastries that make you grow tall
Forests and cottages, castles and cards that can talk
M/n was so focused on his playing, he didn't notice the familiar dinging of someone joining the call.
Welcome to Wonderland, look where you're at
Maddest of hatters, the Cheshire Cat
Magical cabins and lovely white rabbits with clocks
Dancing through a dream underneath the stars

Laughing 'til the morning comes
Everyone that leaves has a heavy heart
Oh, Wonderland I love
Welcome to Wonderland, I'll be your guide
Holding your hand under sapphire skies
Let's go exploring or we could just go for a walk
Welcome to Wonderland, where should we go
There's a tea party along down the road
Make an appearance and maybe they'll sing us a song
Dancing through a dream underneath the stars
Laughing 'til the morning comes
Everyone that leaves has a heavy heart
Oh, Wonderland I love
Nothing around here is quite as it seems
Not sure if anything's real or a dream
And the only thing sure from the start
Is the song that's inside of your heart
Don't let it leave
If this was a dream, then at least I've got
Memories for when morning comes
Now that I must leave with a heavy heart
Oh, Wonderland I love
M/n leaned back and sighed, it had been a long time since he had stretched his piano-playing fingers.
It felt nice.
A cold, smooth feeling slid past M/n's leg, causing him to look down. "Oh, Cherub, there you are," M/n said, carefully picking up the snake. She stuck out her tongue and wiggled it. M/n booped her on the nose, causing her to recoil slightly. Placing Cherub around his neck, M/n went back to his computer and slid on his headset.
There was silence for a few seconds...
"That was... interesting", came a voice, catching M/n off guard. "Oh, hi Phil!" M/n said, sitting up.
Then M/n had a revelation. "...Are you streaming?"
"Yeah."
"Does that mean that everyone heard me?"
"Yep."
"Ah."
"Uh-huh."
"..."
"You wanna play Minecraft with me?"
"...Sure."
M/n logged into the Smp, spawning where he had last logged off. "Where are you at, Phil?" M/n asked, wandering around. He had a rough mental map of where everything was, so hopefully, Phil would be at a location he was familiar with. "I'm by Tommy's hotel," Phil said.

M/n kind of knew where that was. And the hotel was hella tall, so it shouldn't be that hard to find.
He was wrong.
M/n got very, very lost.
Looking around, he recognized absolutely nothing. Sure, there were still buildings and all that, but he didn't recognize any of them. So he kinda just sat on a bench and stayed there. "Phil... I am so lost!"
Phil sighed, "Just... wait where you are. I'll come and find you."
M/n crossed his legs on a bench and looked around. Unfortunately for him, he didn't notice someone popping up behind him.
"Hello?" Came a soft, Dutch accented voice. M/n jumped slightly, turning around. A fox on two feet stood before him. "Oh, hi! You're Fundy, right? I'm U/n," M/n said.
"Oh, I've heard about you! It's nice to finally meet you," Fundy said, "What are you doing here?"
"I, kinda... got lost. I was supposed to meet Phil at Tommy's hotel, but I got turned around. I'm waiting for Phil to come and get me."
Fundy chuckled, "I can show you the way if you want."
"If you would."
M/n stood from the bench and walked next to Fundy. He followed the fox man over and under, left and right, in every which direction. Finally, they found themselves near the red and black hotel. M/n thanked Fundy, who went on his way.
"Phil?" M/n called out, looking around for the Smp father figure.
No answer.
"Phil?"
...
"I'm not Phil, but, you do seem lonely," Came a soft voice. M/n looked where it was coming from and almost fell back in surprise.
"You-, you're Ghostbur... aren't you?"
"That is what they call me, yes."
M/n tilted his head staring intently at the ghost before him. If he squinted slightly, he could see through Ghostbur. Reaching out tentatively, M/n reached towards him.
His hand went through Ghostbur's body, causing the ghost to giggle.
"That tickles", he tittered, rocking side to side. M/n waved his hand around, and Ghostbur's body rippled like water. Bringing his hand back out, M/n inspected it. Nothing. Strange.
It had felt like touching jello while your hand was asleep.
"Huh, weird," Ghostbur said, gently taking M/n's hand and holding it close to his face. "Normally, even if someone just brushes by me, they'll come away with a layer of ectoplasm. You stuck your entire hand into my stomach and came away with nothing. It didn't stick to you."
"Hmm," M/n said, staring at a flower near his foot, "I don't know."
Ghostbur noticed what he was looking at and smiled. "Do you like flowers?" He asked, sitting criss-cross on the ground, playing with the petals of the flower.
M/n hummed in acknowledgment, joining Ghostbur in sitting on the ground. He laid on his stomach in the grass, his arms crossed, resting under his chin. He answered slowly,
"Yeah, I do. They're very beautiful. In my old home, where I used to live, flowers were near impossible to grow. It was too cold, and we got very little light. Almost all the land was made of some kind of strange rock. The only plants we were able to grow were hard and purple.
They were almost unpalatable. My people had adapted over the years to eat them, but they were still gross."
Ghostbur tilted his head to the side, "Why didn't your people go find different sources of food?" He wondered, M/n glanced at him and sighed.
"They tried to," He said, "But they were physically trapped. I know of some that managed to escape, but once they did, they were trapped on the other side. They couldn't get back. My mother, our leader, managed to send me out. She managed to send me here. My father is the one that took care of me when I arrived."
"What happened to him?" Wilbur asked, and M/n shrugged. "I'm... not completely sure. He was born here, while my mother and I were born in the other place."
"Do you ever miss her?" Wilbur said, and M/n looked at him. "Of course I do," he said, "I wish I could see her again. But I could never do that."
"Why not?"
"Because...
It's because... I would have to kill her to get back here."
