I was at the mall shopping for baby girl with Marcel. It was constant back and forth because Marcel insisted on buying her these little ugly dust crusty sneakers that matched his.

"Marcel put it the fuck back." I said annoyed at this point. We've been going back and forth for 10 minutes.

"Sanai is getting these shoes to match her daddy I don't care what you say." He said and walked away before I could answer to buy them.

By the time I wobbled my ass to the cash register he already bought them. I immediately got an attitude.

"Tryna dress my daughter like a little boy. You gon get your son relax." I said and rolled my eyes.

He chuckled to himself at my little attitude. I rolled my eyes once more and he squeezed my hand signaling that I'd better stop.

2pm

We were in baby Gap and my bladder felt full.

"Marcel I'm going to go to the bathroom." I said and let go off his hand quickly. It felt like I was going to let loose any minute.

As soon as I said that a whole bunch of water came down and I suddenly started to feel sharp pains in my stomach.

"Baby.. you okay?" Marcel said checking on me.

"I think Sanai is ready to come...." I said and he didn't say anything else.

Marcel along with some other people helped me out of the mall and into the car. Marcel then sped off to the nearest hospital.

8:45pm

Valley Hospital Las Vegas

"Welcome to the world Sanai Ashanti Whyte." I said smiling at my babygirl.

She looked at me with her pretty brown eyes and my heart melted.

Marcel then took her and started lightly rocking her and walking around.

"Daddy is about to spoil you princess you don't even know." He said and kissed her forehead.

"Oh lord my baby girl is about to be so much of a daddy's girl I don't know if I can't take it." I said jokingly and smiling at the both of them.

"Don't hate." Marcel said chuckling.

Moments later his phone started ringing and he handed Sanai over to me so that he could answer it.

"Hey Bria. I thought Q was ca-" I heard him say until Bria cut him off.

"Where's my niecey pooh!?" She asked in excitement and I chuckled and he brought the phone over towards nainai, showing her as she drifted off to sleep.

I heard Bria in aww through the phone and speaking in a baby voice.

I talked to her for a little and then Marcel and Q talked.

I also talked to my momma a little bit and the other girls and Jashawn.

~The Next Day~

Marcel been here all night helping me tend to Sanai. I hardly woke up to feed her and stuff since every time she cried Marcel jumped up quick to go tend to her needs, he even changed her diaper.

In a few days when nai and I leave the hospital, Marcel and I will throw a welcome home party for her the next day. Everyone knows about it and is so excited to come down here to meet babygirl.

The nurse came in with my breakfast and I began to eat while Marcel was feeding Sanai.

"The way your acting people would think you gave birth to her." I said giggling.

"Man you don't understand, I've been wanting a child with you for a good minute now, and my first born is a girl. I'm excited as hell." He said as he watched her eat.

My heart melted. I've never seen Marcel this soft aside from our little arguments and the times I threatened to leave him.

"You already have a spot for her. I love it." I said cheesing.

She finished eating and so did I, he then handed her over to me for mommy-daughter time since she was in his arms mostly since birth.

She fussed a little but I managed to calm her. I had to get her more use to me than she was because Marcel wouldn't put her down for nothing unless he got a phone call or she was sleeping or something.

"Hi princess, it's mommy. Daddy won't let me hold you for 5 minutes. But it's me ok precious?" I said smiling at her and Marcel chuckled.

"Girl I let you hold her longer than that yesterday." He said playfully rolling his eyes.

"Boy that's because she had just came out of my vagina and the doctor handed her over to me and she was covered in my insides fluids." I said playfully rolling my eyes back and he remained quiet.

"That's what I thought." I said and turned my attention back to Sanai.

I let her wrap her little hand around my finger as she drifted off to sleep.

"Baby go home, put the stuff we bought her in the house and take a shower. Get some food too. You can come back." I said reassuring him.

"Nah I don't wanna leave you and nai." He said.

"Marcel take yo black ass and get cleaned up and get some food then come back. I'm alright, she's alright. I'm sure she understands her daddy had to go home real quick." I said giving him attitude.

He sighed and looked at a sleeping Sanai in my arms and looked at me.

"I'll put her down. Go." I said to him.

"Your stitches though.." He started.

"I'll be fine baby, go. We'll see you when you get back." I said hurrying him out the door and slowly started to get out of the hospital bed.

He sighed again and came over. He kissed nai's forehead and then kissed my lips and he left out, reassuring me that he'd be back as fast as he could.

Once he left I shook my head and giggled to myself and looked down at Sanai.

"You're daddy loves you with all his heart babygirl. I don't think there's room for me anymore." I said laughing lowly to myself so that I wouldn't wake her up.

Once I got Sanai in her crib thing, I went back into the hospital bed and fell asleep to take a nap before lunch was brought to me.
