"Father, look at that." Viola exclaimed softly while pointing at the butterfly that just passed them.
". . . What about it?"
"The butterfly colour is the same as your hair." she chuckled as Damon continue to eat his lunch.
Damon decided to have a relaxing time with his only daughter. That is to go to a restaurant and eat their lunch there. One of the reasons is also to reminiscence his one and only wife.
"Where do you want to go after this?" he asked while looking at her who dazed off, looking at the sky.
". . . Hm. . . let's just stay like this and talk." she replied softly as she turned her head towards him. "Father, what is your magic speciality?" she asked curiously since she never knew what kind of magic her father has.
". . . I have instant regeneration and can kill my opponent in one go."
". . . Are you immortal!?"
". . . You can say that I am." he replied blankly making Viola's eyes widened in surprise.
"What else can father do?"
". . . I can see soul."
"Soul?" Viola asked, confused as she tilt her head to the side as Damon nodded.
"Can you see my soul?" Viola asked as she pointed at herself.
"Every Univers family members can see soul by the time they turned 17, it's one of the blessings that Univers got."
Viola's eyes widened in surprise by the information she just hear. It's really is unfamiliar to her ear because no one ever told her in her first life. Even when she turned 17 before, she can't see soul.
"How can you see it? What is the shape of soul?"
". . . It's like a floating light with their own colour that matched their magic speciality. Every soul is different."
"What about my soul?"
". . . It's normal and I'm really familiar with it."
Viola smiled warmly by the answer of her father. "When I turned 17, I want to see father's soul first."
Damon just form a small smile.

"Also father, do you know about magic guardian? Or spirits?" Viola asked curiously, trying to ask questions she asked to Licht.
". . . I know about it."
"Really!?"
"Most guardian magic are born from their own last wish for someone they love or what we humans called a strong bond."
"Wow. . . It's really wonderful."
"It can be a blessing or curse."
Viola's eyes widened in surprise.
"Right guidance can be your light, wrong guidance can crush you. There are two kinds of guardian spirit, the blessed spirit and the cursed spirit."
". . . cursed spirit?"
"They are born from a desperate, wretched wishes but at the same time, they wished for something good."
". . . T-that's. . ."
"Having a guardian spirit is really dangerous. Even if they were a blessed spirit, they can switch side to the devil just for their selfish wish. When the magic user reached its peak of mana, it's either they will turn in a form of angel or demon."
"Are cursed spirit. . . is the same as when they're human?"
"No they're not. Unlike blessed spirit, cursed spirit remember their past but they became twisted."
Remembering that Licht stated he didn't remember anything from his past life, made Viola sighed of relief.

"Greetings, Gale." Viola exclaimed with a warm smile as she politely bowed.
Gale bowed back in return as they shared a smile.
It seems that Edward has some business with the Marquess, that's why he asked Viola to go with him since Gale is her friend.
They sit at the garden together, side to side. Enjoying each other's company without another word.
"How was your day, Gale?" Viola asked while looking at the beautiful flowers infront of them that grew well for the past years.
". . . It went smoothly." Gale replied with a small smile plastered on his face as he gaze downwards.
"Is that so? That's a good thing." Viola exclaimed softly with a gentle smile as Gale only nodded.
They stayed like that again, enjoying each other's company.

". . . Viola." he called as Viola turned her head to be greeted by his alluring gold eyes. ". . . I love you."
Her eyes widened in surprise by his sudden confession as Gale turned back his head, avoiding eye contact with her.
Viola couldn't say anything back because she's too shock. "I. . ." she tried her best to create a proper sentence for his confession but couldn't find the right one.
With that, Gale chuckled by her confusion. ". . . It's alright, Viola. I said that because I just wanted you to know. I don't need answers." he stated with a small smile while looking at her.
Viola look at him with wide eyes. "I. . . I'm terribly sorry that I can't return your feelings properly." she exclaimed while turning her head towards the other side.
". . . I never thought that it would hurt when you said it. . ." he exclaimed and clutch his chest. ". . . A lot."
Viola gazed downwards, feeling bad by her own statement. ". . . I deeply apologise. . . I already promised to love someone. . . I don't want to crush his trust."
Gale's eyes widened in surprise the moment he heard that. He immediately chuckled, thinking that his confession put her in a difficult situation.
"Viola, you don't have to feel bad about it."

"I. . . want you to become the Duke immediately." Damon exclaimed while looking at his first son, who is sitting in front of him.
Edward's eyes widened in surprise by the sudden news. "What? When?"
"As soon as you can."
"Why?"
". . . I want to rest." Damon replied tiredly as he turned his head towards the window beside him. "You're already 20 years old. You have to find yourself a fiancee, maybe Viola will also get married in the future."
Edward's eyes widened by now fast the time passed. It seems like it was yesterday he talked with his 9 years old sister.
". . . Make sure you made Carlos the captain of the Univers Knight." he added as Edward slowly nodded.
"Carlos is already 17, he will turn 18 soon. It's the appropriate age. Even though he lacked in leadership, but I think he'll be alright." Damon exclaimed slowly. "About Valerian. . . He can be your advisor. He's really good at giving advice and deciding things."
"Yes. . ."
"If Violette turns out to be our family, you have to treat her well considering we haven't found anything about her and the meaning of her existence yet. And add the Univers last name on her name. If she's not our family, you can let her stay at the town. Buy a house there for her."
". . ."
". . . Don't forget about Viola. Make sure she will find someone who will grow old with her and will love her forever, to have a family with."
". . . I understand, father."
Damon smiled warmly at his son. "I'm proud of you."
Edward smiled back at his father sincerely. "I'm delighted to hear that."
Noticing that Damon will retired, Edward will get busier than he already was.

Slap-!
"Just because you have your title doesn't mean you can act as you please!" the Emperor shouted angrily towards Glenn who stayed silent the whole time even after getting a slap.
"Ouch." he exclaimed making the Emperor raised his eyebrow at Glenn.
Glenn turned his head from the side to be greeted by the Emperor's cold sapphire eyes.
Nonetheless, Glenn glared at him as if his father is the most disgusting thing on earth.
". . . I hope you die." he exclaimed coldly as the Emperor's eyes widened in surprise. The serious expression on Glenn's face turned into a playful one. "Just kidding."
By his reaction, the Emperor clench his fist and punch his first son right on his face.
"How dare you to mock me!"
". . ."
"I'm ashamed to have you as my son."
"And I'm thinking why couldn't I have a better father." Glenn thought as he rolled his eyes and wipe off the blood on his mouth because of the damage.
". . . crazy old bastard."
