"Welcome to our humble temple, Lady Univers." the priest who look like in his 50 greeted Viola politely with a polite bow. He look nice and gentle like most priest look.
Viola cross her legs and ankles while standing, then bend her knees slightly. Lift the fabric of her dress out to her sides that has the colour of white that matches the wall of the temple.
"Greetings, it's a pleasure to be your acquaintance." she greeted him back as polite as she can.
"Come."
She followed his footsteps as she walked inside the hall where everything is painted white, with the statue, the presence of God stand in the middle.
It looked high and strong. The presence it gives is more worth than any nobles. It's a luxurious but at the same time, a simple statue.
"Please say your prayers. I will be waiting outside." the priest informed softly as she turned her head towards him and smiled as she nodded.
He bowed politely as he turned around and exit the sacred hall.
She take a deep breath as she walk towards the statue. She get on her knees as she put the two of her hands together in a praying position.
She close her eyes, letting the darkness took over for a moment.
"Dear God who art in heaven, I, Viola Univers, asking you in hope for answers that I'm seeking." taking a deep breath, she dared herself to ask the question in his presence."Why did you gave me a second chance of life?"
Before she could hear answers or scene the God will show her as an answer, a familiar hand grab her hand roughly as she shot her eyes open to be greeted by the familiar emerald electric eyes.
"L-Licht!?" she shouted, surprised as she notice her surroundings became white blank like it used to whenever she talk to Licht. "Licht, what are you doing summoning me like this in the wrong time?" she asked, irritated but her voice came out soft as it used to be.

He frown at her as his eyebrow twitch and he click his tongue. "What are you doing there!?" he suddenly shouted, making her eyes widened in surprised.
In this past 6 years, Viola grew fond of him and his anger issues, but this time, he looked really pissed and angry.
". . . I was praying." she answered calmly while looking at him in the eyes.
"Do you think God will answer you that easily!?"
". . .Why are you so angry about?" she tried to look pissed as well and shouted at him but she can't, everything she said comes out soft and she can't really form a mad or pissed expression because she just can't.
"If you wanted to ask something, just ask me." he exclaimed with a dark expression that she never used to. It's the first time she's seen him like that, he seems really angry and sad.
He turned around angrily as he crossed his arms.
She just stood there, looking at him confused, still not getting why did he got that mad.
". . . I just wanted to know why God gave me a second life."
Silence.
Her gaze directed downwards as she reasoned him, feeling uncomfortable by this unfamiliar atmosphere.
"It's just because you are blessed. That's all." his rough voice left his mouth harshly as he scratch the back of his head.
She raised her brow in confusion as she sigh in defeat since she can't really win on arguing about something with Licht nor the rest of her family.
They just stood there, with his back facing her.
It's either that he didn't want to face her or she's just can't face the truth if he said it.
By the time he snapped his fingers, everything turns normal and she's back inside the temple.
She sighed tiredly as she turned her head to leave to be bumped by someone.
"P-pardon my rudeness." she immediately apologised as she lift her head to be greeted by a pair of sapphire eyes.
Her eyes widen in surprise as she quickly bow infront of him the moment she saw his eyes colour. "I deeply apologise, his royal highness the Crown Prince." she apologised again in a more polite manner.

He chuckled. "It's alright~ it's alright~" he reassured her with a wide grin. He look so happy that it confuse her.
". . . Well then, I shall take my leave first."
He smiled at her. "Be careful on your way!"
Her eyes went wide by the friendly treatment she received from the first time from the Crown Prince as her lips curved into a gentle smile.
-
"Oh, I think this is the book about the Holy One." Astor exclaimed while giving her an old book in the most abandoned shelf.
After her failed praying because of Licht and her short encounter with the Crown Prince, she visits the temple library to find out about the Holy One that she's interested in.
"Thank you Astor." she gave him a smile of gratitude as he blushed a bit and turned his head to the other side.
"Y-your welcome."
"You're cute." she said casually with a warm smile making him embarrassed even more as his face turned bright red.
"Milady, please stop teasing me." he clear his throat as he pretended to read one of the book he's holding making her chuckled lightly.
-
Staying in the temple is her first time both in her lives. The weather is nice and warm but it's a lot colder when night comes.
Because of her curious nature, she walked out from her room, outside the temple to be greeted by a thousand beautiful stars.
She decided to walk around the nearest forest within the temple while enjoying the shining yellow fireflies around that lighten up every path she walked in that brighten the dark.
"Yo, Lady."
Her eyes widened in surprised as she look around to find the owner of the voice but she found no one. She lift her head to be greeted by the Crown Prince that is resting himself on the tree right above her.
"Good day, Lady Viola Univers." he greeted her kindly as he jumped out from the tree and stand in front of me proudly.
She cross her legs and ankles while standing, then bend her knees slightly. Lift the fabric of her white nightgown out to her sides. "Greetings, his highness, Crown Prince Glenn Giovanni."
"Sadly, I don't like being called the Crown Prince." he shrugged playfully much to her surprise.
She never met him up that close nor talked to him in her previous life.
He smiled as he handed out his hand for her to shake. "For now, I'm just a runaway." he form a wide grin.
Shaking off the confusing thoughts, she raise her hand and shake his hand hesitantly.
"As you know, being a Crown Prince is a hard job. That's why I prefer fun things to do on my way!" he winked at her as he smiled proudly while putting both of his hand on his waist. "Also, do you know, at nighttime like this, you can see a white and purple aurora if you go to the town!" he informed with a friendly smile as she chuckled.
". . . Really?"
"Yeah!" he give her a toothy smile as she returned the smile.
"Let's go together!"
It's kind of weird for Viola since they just met but chatted with each other friendly. Like they've known each other since forever.
"But, your highness-"
"You can call me Glenn."
"Glenn."
"Yes, Vio?"
Hey eyes widened in surprised by the time he called her by the nickname.
". . .I'm sorry Vio, please forget about me. . . and. . ."
A piece of memories struck right through her mind as her heart started to throb painfully because of the memories that she doesn't remember.
"Vio? What's wrong?"
"Can I call you Vio?"
"Vio?"
Her eyes widened in surprised as his voice shake her off to reality.
"Ah, I'm terribly sorry." she apologised with warm smile while looking at him.

Necromancer's Knight: a Light in Death
It was dark, pitch black. Where am I? Where was I last? I died. Am I still dead? A light so dim, yet so blindingly bright to me appeared in a vertical line. The line grew wider and wider, all until the stone slab above my coffin was completely removed. I removed it, I lifted it, without even willing it. And my body continued to move until it was outside of the crypt. It was night, but there was a full moon. And a little girl in front of me. She clutched a black book to her chest as if it were the last thing she had left in this world. I've heard stories of this, I imagined the possibility, but I never thought it would happen to me. Tears streaked down her cheeks. She choked the words out. "Please, save my papa!"
8 166The Adventures of Alan

In his new reality, he will meet both friends and foe, he will seek knowledge, he will build power, and perhaps he will even find love again? Follow Alan through his adventures, and find out for yourselves how he deals with the challenges thrown at him by a new world, while struggling with the issues brought with him from his old one. * Author’s note: A fair warning. This is the first time I’ve published anything, and basically the first time I’ve written anything more than mandatory school-stuff. The story will probably have inconsistencies, grammatical errors (not my native tongue, though that excuse is getting old), and potentially confusing (missing?) plot. I will naturally do my best to write something worth reading, but my main goal in writing this story is to have fun and explore the limits of my own creativity. My hope in publishing it here, is that I’ll reach someone who enjoy the story, and can push me forward towards writing more, as it is difficult at times to find the motivation to write just for myself. Additionally, I can’t really promise to have regular updates, as I have a full-time job that often likes to take the ‘full-time’ part literally, and a sporadic social life that occasionally surprises me (happy surprises mostly, so I shouldn’t complain). I’ll aim for once a week to start with, and take it from there. Happy reading! Cover photo by Jeff Hire (/photographer/gun4hire-58415), from https://freeimages.com/.
8 175Long War [Oldest]
It was a war. It was silent, so silent that few people ever noticed that it was happening, and long. So long that those who knew forgot why it ever started. Humanity had fought against itself... and lost. Prosperity, democracy and human rights were a thing of the past now, as the world fell into Sovereigns's hands - a handful of transnational corporations (and their CEOs) that monopolized the world economy. The resistance had been long silenced with the policy of bread and games. Now, over a hundred years later, something happened. One of the Sovereigns created a VRMMORPG like none other. A science fiction game, where players could explore the Galaxy... full of advanced technologies, bloodthirsty aliens and even magic. Was it a simple computer game, or... something else?
