Estelle, Cordelia and Suki-san were struggling while fighting against monsters and Arrow's dragon form.

"Where are Mizuki and Akiara?" Cordelia shouted while fighting.

"Don't know. They just vanished into thin air." Suki-san replied.

Estelle and Eli pointed their arrows towards the orcs. They shot it hitting the two orcs on their heads. They collapsed. Estelle didn't notice another orc's presence. Eli evaded its club attack with his bow. As the orc raised the club, Estelle shot on its head. Both nodded. They ran towards human hostages. They removed the cuffs. Eli fought against other monsters that were present inside the temple. Hostages that were released ran off to the forest.

"I just hope Akiara and Mizuki are safe." Estelle said to herself.

Akiara and Mizuki charged towards Neythan. Neythan started enchanting a spell. He took out a talisman and placed it on the ground. Suddenly a giant holographic knight came out from the ground. It took out the sword from sheath and hit the ground causing it to crack. They jumped in the air dodging the attack.

It swung its sword at them. They barely dodged it as they got thrown to the ground. Akiara stood up with all her strength. The sword swung towards her. She deflected it with her sword. She coughed up blood as the strength of the knight was high. It kept on overpowering her and the crater was made on the ground where she was standing. She gritted her teeth. She let out a battle cry as her eyes started to glow in brighter color making her sword to glow as well. She managed deflect it. Mizuki also stood up regaining her strength. Both nodded and ran towards the hologram. They dodged its attack while charging. Akiara jumped in the air and started fighting against the hologram while Mizuki kicked Neythan's grimoire throwing it on the ground. Suddenly the hologram stopped moving. Akiara also joined the fight against Neythan. Neythan tried to take it but Mizuki punched him on his face. Akiara picked up the grimoire. She turned pages to find the reverse spell while Mizuki held Neythan back. She read the spell which made the hologram to vanish. Neythan used telekinesis to get his grimoire back. Mizuki also ran towards him. She started clashing her sword at his grimoire. He kept on using the book as his shield. He got so absorbed in fighting he didn't notice Akiara was standing behind him.

She stabbed on his heart, "You should be aware of your surroundings."

His eyes grew wide as he saw a splitting image of Arnon on her. She pulled back the sword. He collapsed on the ground. Pool of blood was forming around him, "I was already destined to die. But that evil god resurrected me so that I could be Arnon's weakness." he smiled, "I was just a decoy to keep the Hero occupied. The real sacrificial site is at Vasilindro empire. The third gate is about to open during midnight."

Their eyes grew wide hearing it. Akiara asked, "Then this place?"

"This place is for teleporting the hostages...." he coughed up blood, "Since I told the truth.... this place is going to crumble down." Neythan replied.

"What?" Suddenly the ground started to shake. Their surroundings started to change to temple's interior part.

"Take this grimoire...... it will..... bring the dragon back....... to its human form. Hurry before...... you get trapped inside the rumbles....."

Mizuki took the grimoire. She grabbed Akiara's hand and ran towards the exit. Both jumped out as the temple crumbled down into rumbles. They stood up. Akiara looked sad remembering Neythan's guilty expression when he was dying. Mizuki tapped her shoulder to reassure her. She smiled holding her hand. Mizuki opens grimoire and started searching for the reverse spell. She enchants it. Arrow lands on the ground. His expression looked calm. She takes out a talisman. She walks towards Arrow and placed it on his abdomen. He changed back to human wondering what happened to him.

Estelle, Cordelia, Suki-san and Eli ran towards them, "Are you guys alright?"

Cordelia asked, "Where were you guys?"

Akiara replied, "Fighting against..... dark emperor." she mumbled last words and fainted. Estelle caught her on time. While Mizuki fainted on Arrow.

Later that night Akiara woke up. She sat and looked around her surroundings. Everyone were fast asleep and a bonfire keeping them warm. She even noticed that she was bandaged on her chest. Mizuki was also awake.

"How are you feeling?" Mizuki whispered.

"Good." Akiara whispered back.

"How about we take a walk?" Mizuki suggested as she slowly sat.

"Sure."

They got off the bed and walked from their camp. They were walking around the ruins. After they sat on the large boulder. Akiara was staring at the night sky. While Mizuki was staring at Akiara. Akiara took out blue jade pendant from neck. She walked towards Mizuki.

"Is there something wrong?" Mizuki asked. Akiara shook her head walked behind her. She wore the pendant. Moonlight rays fell on the jade glimmering at the beautiful blue color.

"This belonged to my mother. Now it's yours."

"But-"

She sat beside her, "You don't need to worry about it. It was just a momentum. And I know that you will take care of it." She smiled and laid her head on her shoulder. There was a moment of silence between them. They enjoyed the peace.

Akiara stood up, "Let's go back. Shall we?"

Mizuki grabbed her hand, "Wait! I.... I have something to tell you."

She turned around, "Go ahead. What do you want to say?"

Mizuki took a deep breathe. Then she bend down on her knees. She took out a ring box, "Akiara Nakamura, you have been my light throughout my darkest times and have always supported me no matter what. We have been together for a while. And I want to spend rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" She opened the ring box showing a silver ring decorated with sea blue color gem that matches her eyes.

Her eyes glimmered in astonishment. She smiled, "Yes I do."

She smiled back and wore her the ring. She stood up and pulled her closer.

"How about we do it now?" She smirked.

"N-n-not now." she blushed, "We can get married once everything is over."

"I know you would say that." Her forehead touched with hers, "I will wait as long as you want."

Both stayed like this for a while. Suki-san witnessed the whole scene and realized she was just a third wheel in their relationship. She walked away with tears falling her eyes.

"How about a dance to celebrate our engagement?" Mizuki asked.

"Sure. But I might step on you." Akiara replied.

"As long as it's you. I don't mind it."

Both bowed and took hands. Moonlight glistened amongst the clouds falling on them as they danced gracefully.

"You are not that bad." Mizuki commented.

"Thanks." Akiara smiled.

As they finished dancing, Mizuki pulled her closer bringing her to a kiss. She kissed her back wrapping her arms around her neck while her arms wrapped on her waist. Soft snow started falling on them. They looked at the sky then looked at each other.

"I love you."

"I love you too." They kissed again under the moonlight.

Their sweet moment was ruined when suddenly the ground started to shake vigorously. Trees were uprooted and monsters and animals running for their lives.

"What's going on?" Akiara asked trying to keep her balance.

Akiara's friends woke up by the sudden earthquake. They ran towards the ruins. They gathered together and saw Akiara and Mizuki running towards them.

"What's going on?" Eli asked.

"Don't know. But-!?" Akiara looked at the sky. The sky's color changed to blood red and the moon slowly changed to raven color.

"The third gate is finally open." Akiara said still looking at the sky.

Everyone looked at the sky. Their eyes grew wide seeing the sky's color. Even the moon Blood red with darkness covering, showing the crescent shape. Suki-san finally spoke breaking silence, "Seems like the final battle is about to begin."

"Looks like it is." Mizuki held Akiara's hand. Her grip got tighter. She looked at her. She nodded.

"It's time to prepare for the final battle." Akiara's eyes glowed showing her determination.
