Emperor Ian Von Aldair and Grand Duke Ziv Verlice arrived in imperial carriage. He stood on the platform and behind him stood the Duke Verlice.

"My people, today I assembled you all to witness the execution of the rebel who killed our beloved Crown Prince Orson von Aldair, my son." Emperor spoke.

Just then a carriage arrived at the execution ground. Two soldiers got down and pulled Teivel out. They were dragging her to platform.

"This rebel is the one responsible for Crown Prince's death." He continued.

Everyone were murmuring to each other. Duke glanced at Teivel. She was coldly glaring at him. It sent shivers down his spine as he was seeing splitting image of his deceased wife. He turned his face away.

"Do you have any last words?" Emperor asked.

She nodded. "People of Vasilindro empire. Your judgement towards people of different races, colors, rich and poor is disgusting. It's terribly disgusting. And I really hate that fact." she glanced at Duke then towards people, "You see my father abandoned me from birth because of my scarlet eyes." everyone gasped and started taking steps back. "Let me ask you all one thing. What did the scarlet eyes bearer do to the kingdom to receive such harsh treatment?" The whole crowd was silent.

"Come on speak up. I just want to-!?"

Duke slapped her. "That's enough."

She smirked, "Oh. Well His Majesty gave me permission to speak last words."

"Then your time is up."

She spoke loud enough for Duke to hear, "Well Your Grace, I never told anyone that you were my father except Akiara."

"...." He coldly glared at her.

"*Sigh* then all I wish is that you have a good life and please don't ignore your other children."

He flinched after hearing her. She continued, "Well to curse someone during the time of death.... I am not that kind of a person."

He raised his eyebrows hearing her last words. He felt guilty for not taking care of her for twenty two years. He clenched his fist realizing that he didn't take care of the gift that his wife gifted him. His heart was covered in guilt that he didn't love his youngest daughter.

"I am sorry." He mouthed. She raised her eyebrows and smiled. Then she glanced at Emperor, nodded.

Emperor and the Duke came down. Executioners arrived. As he was about to grab her hair and put her head on the guillotine, Akiara jumped down. Everyone looked towards her. Her eyes were gleaming as she dashed and picked Teivel up and ran off. She jumped in zigzag manner and climbed the rooftop.

"What happened?" Everyone looked confused.

Emperor also glanced here and there thinking what happened. He suddenly noticed the figure running on the rooftop, "They are escaping! Catch those two and make sure they don't escape!"

"A-Aki?" Teivel looked confused.

Akiara ran and jumped roof to roof. From both sides imperial soldiers stopped them.

"Hand us over the rebel. If you do that I promise I will spare your life." Brielle pointed her sword at them.

She shook her head and spoke in deep voice, "I apologize but I cannot do that. Because I was tasked to protect her no matter the cost."

She ran towards her. Brielle also charged towards them. She smirked and jumped in the air. Brielle looked back thinking what just happened. She landed and continued running.

"Tasked to protect me? Who sent her to protect a monster like me?" She looked at her thinking about asking her.

"I know you must be wondering who sent me to protect you. Don't worry I will tell you everything when it's the right time." her eyes glowed even brighter when she jumped this time. She landed on the clothes line and bounced off in the air.

"Such strong holy aura. It's like I'm being saved by a paladin. Just who is she?"

"C'mon Arrow. Hurry up." She mumbled. Suddenly Arrow flew underneath them and they fell on his back.

"Hold on tight. We are going to lift off." with that they tightly grabbed on his horns as he dashed upwards.

"I am sorry that I wasn't a good father but I hope you have good life. After all that is all I can do in the end." Duke said to himself with a small smile.

Once they reached above the clouds, Arrow casted cloaking spell so that they wouldn't get noticed. He was flying above the forest. Akiara hugged her so that she gets warmed up.

"Arrow how about we rest for a while?" Akiara suggested.

"Sure." Arrow dived down near the lake. Akiara carried her in her arms and jumped down. He transformed back into human.

"Why don't you go and refresh yourself." Akiara suggested.

"Okay big sis." She handed him his clothes and sent him to other side where there is a huge boulder.

Then she walked back to Teivel. "Strip." Akiara coldly spoke.

"What? No! I am not ready yet." She covers her chest with two hands.

"Huh?" she looked completely baffled by her reply, "What are you talking about? I said you to get undressed so that I can heal your wounds."

"O-oh I am sorry." her cheeks were flushed red as she was embarrassed for having dirty thoughts.

She took off her clothes. Her pale-white skin were scarred by beatings she received. She intertwined her fingers with hers. She shot opened her eyes and said, "Heal." A green light emitted. She felt all her wounds were healing and felt body heat coming back. She noticed her glowing blue orbs. It looked enchanting. She couldn't hold back. She slowly approached towards her lips and kissed her without disrupting her concentration. She flinched but she continued to heal her. After healing her, she gave her a new set of clothes to wear. They got undressed and entered lake to bath. As Teivel was relaxing, she noticed Akiara's scarred body. She swam towards her. Her fingers touched her back which made her flinch.

"W-w-what are you doing?" She moved away. She looked down as her eyes were filled with sadness.

She narrowed her gaze and grabbed her shoulders, " Admiring your body. It is still beautiful even with scars. That reminds me its my first time seeing you naked." she smirked. She shoved her off and turned her back.

Her fingers gently ran through the scars, "You don't need to feel ashamed of your body because of scars. And I like your body."

Her face turned red, "Pervert." she walked out of the lake.

She laughed, "I don't mind it."

After then they got dressed up. Akiara was dressed in casual gown while Teivel in suit. She looked quite disgusted, "Why am I wearing suit?"

"You will see." She tied her hair in low ponytail and casted shapeshifting magic on her. Her eyes changed into light blue color.

"Hey?" she hummed in response.

"If it's possible, I would like to visit my mother's grave for one last time."

"Sure. I will speak with Arrow about this."

"Big sis I brought some fishes." Arrow came back holding three fishes in his hand.

"Arrow, before we leave for the borders, Teivel wants to pay a small visit to her mother's grave." Akiara asked.

"No problem."

"Alright then we will leave after having lunch." Akiara replied.

After having lunch they flew off leaving the forest. They reached the cemetery. They got down and Arrow transformed back to human. Teivel walked to her mother's tombstone and stared at it.

"Mother, I always ask you that why you have given birth to a monster like me..... but this time I came here to introduce Akiara to you. I love her with all my heart and I hope you bless us the future ahead of us. Take care." She glanced at Akiara, "Let's go."

She nodded. At evening they reached the city near the border. They entered the restaurant where Cordelia was sipping on tea. After having dinner, they headed to inn. They walked towards reception desk to book rooms.

"Excuse me, we would like to book three rooms." Akiara spoke.

"Alright." receptionist glanced at Akiara and Teivel, "Are you both couple?"

Teivel understood Akiara's plan without even telling her and decided to go with flow, "Yes. Yes we are." He(She) replied with a smile.

"I don't want to be nosy but she looks quite younger than you." Receptionist asked.

"We are married. We were actually going on a date but two extra people tagged along with us." Teivel replied glancing at them.

Receptionist continued writing, "I see." Receptionist suspected by looking at Arrow. But he got convinced after seeing they both have same common hair color except for light hues of purple at the tip of Arrow's hair.

"Your name please."

"...." Teivel broke in cold sweat as she didn't think of a name.

"Shiro. Shiro Ishikawa." Akiara replied.

"Shiro Ishikawa. Here you go." He handed them the room keys. They walked away.

"We are leaving tomorrow morning." Akiara said.

They nodded and headed to their respective rooms. As Akiara and Teivel entered their room, they felt a presence following them. They nodded and locked the door. The lady pressed her ear on the door to hear their conversation.

Teivel pushed her to the bed and pinned on her. "What are you doing?" Akiara whispered.

Teivel whispered back, "That man suspected us that whether we are really married couple or not. So keep on acting to avoid suspicion."

"But doing something indecent.... that's also against my will."

"Don't worry I won't do anything. Just keep the act."

She nodded. She spoke loud enough for the lady to hear, "Honey what are you doing?! We cannot do it here!"

"Don't worry darling I locked the door so no one will disturb us tonight."

"But still- mmmm!!?" she kissed her catching her off guard.

The lady blushed after hearing their conversation. She walked away feeling embarrassed thinking she shouldn't have listened to her boss. They stayed quiet for a while.

Akiara burst out in laughter, "I never expected that I would have to act like that."

Teivel smiled seeing her smile, "I'm glad to see you laughing whole heartedly."

She raised her eyebrows when she heard that. She looked down, "It's been a while since I am able to move my facial muscles like this."

She smirked playfully. She gently caressing her lips with thumb, "So how about do it real now?"

Her face flushed red and pushed her away, "What?! I would rather sleep on the floor than sleep with you then."

"Aww come on I was just kidding. Don't be like that." she cupped her cheeks and touched her forehead with hers, "I promise I will never do things which my love doesn't like. So rest assured."

She asked avoiding her look, "What if someone wishes to take me away, what would you do?"

She smiled and pulled towards her, hugging her tightly, "Then all I have to do is to mark you mine." she bit her neck leaving a mark.

She flinched in pain, "W-what are you doing?"

"It's just a kiss mark. What else?"

She pushed her away looking flustered. She got down the bed to change her clothes.

"Sigh my lover is so naïve when it comes to romance." She smirked.

"Shut up." she threw her nightgown on her face.

She giggled, "Sorry. It's just that your face is so cute when you blush terribly."

They got changed and laid on the bed. Teivel hugged her back.

Akiara blushed as she asked, "Will you ever leave me again?"

"No. I promise I will never leave your side no matter what." she nuzzled her face on her back. She smiled hearing her response. They closed their eyes as they drifted off to sleep.
