Months passed by and spring came. Wind was chilly as it was still the beginning. Teivel and Akiara were sparring with swords.

"Still slow. There are enemies who are faster than me. How will you defend yourself with that kind of speed." Akiara pointed her sword at fallen Teivel.

She grabbed her sword's handle, "One more time master."

She stood on her fighting stance and charged towards her. They started sparring again. Akiara's sword movements were unpredictable as she moves swiftly while clashing her sword. Teivel closed her eyes and remembered what Akiara taught her.

'Learn your opponent's movements and how fast she moves. If you can't keep up then feel her aura that is concentrated. Then swing your sword at fullest.' She opened her eyes and swung her sword back and deflected her sword's strike. She turned back to swung but she already jumped above her. She also swiftly turned and swung her sword at her. She was slowly able to keep up with her speed but her sword flew and landed on the ground.

She sheathed back her sword, "That's it for today." she showed her hand, "You did well."

She got up, "Thanks."

"I still can't understand.... how did you learn swordsmanship?"

"I have my ways. Next time I'll teach you basics of martial arts." she said walking away.

She followed her, "Martial arts? What's that?"

"It's a fighting art without using weapons in a form of self-defense or attack."

"I see."

They were heading to pavilion where Arrow was sitting with snacks and using phone. Teivel looked at her blue eyes. Her eyes looked like frozen ocean with no emotions.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"... go ahead."

"If someone says 'I like you', how will you respond?"

She flinched as she remembered someone said, "I like you." her expression darkened, "I will reject them."

She flinched and glanced at her, "Why so? T-there must be... a reason....?"

"Let me ask you a question then. How would you feel if someone you trusted, betrayed your feelings without even a second thought?" She walked towards Arrow leaving her alone to think about it.

"Damn it! How does this thing works again?" Arrow spoke while using magic tab.

"Did I hear you swearing?" Akiara spoke standing behind him.

He flinched and glanced over his shoulder. He turned towards her from his seat, "Big sis?! You must have misheard me.... hehehe..."

"Sigh.... I already told you that swearing is not allowed." She asked sitting down on the chair.

"I'm sorry -"

Teivel interfered as she sat down, "He said he is sorry. Let him go already."

Akiara poured tea on their cups. They were having snacks. Arrow let out a long sigh while drinking tea.

"What's with the long sigh?" Akiara asked as she bit on a cookie.

"I'm bored. I wanna go out and enjoy."

"How about we go for a picnic tomorrow?" Teivel looked at her with puppy eyes.

She glanced both of them. She could see puppy eyes and ears. She sighed, "Sure if that's what you both want."

"Yes!" Both high-fived each other.

Teivel woke up early in the morning and headed to kitchen to prepare for picnic. Akiara was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast. She clenched her fist as she remembered what she said yesterday.

"Who's that bastard who betrayed her to make her emotionless? I will find out who that person is." She walked towards her and grabbed her shoulders and slammed her on the wall.

"I want to ask you a question."

"Sure. But was it necessary to do this?"

"Yes, it is necessary. What if I say that I like you, what will be your response?"

"I will reject you. Because I despise the word 'love'." she shoved her hand, "Now excuse me I have things to do." she said walking away.

"I see that you have no intention in showing your emotions. Then I'll try even harder to make you mine." She smiled. She grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer. Then she again pushed her to the wall.

"What will you do if I'm possessive?" She brought her face closer to hers. Then she slowly approached towards her lips to kiss her.

"Morning big sis. Is breakfast ready? I'm quite hungry." Arrow flung opened the door.

They flinched and Akiara pushed her away. They turned their faces away. Teivel glanced at him, glaring. He flinched as he felt menacing aura surrounding Teivel.

"Arrow help me set the table." she walked to the kitchen counter.

"Coming." he ran towards the closet to get plates and cutleries.

"That was close one. I wonder how she reacts." she noticed Akiara's ears turned red. She chuckled, "I really wish to see her flustered face."

She touched her chest, "What the hell?! My heart is beating fast! I let my guard down completely!" Her face flushed red and glanced at Teivel.

She was talking with Arrow and smiling. Teivel stole a glance at her and winked at her. She looked away while Teivel was smirking seeing her flustered face. After having breakfast, they packed the things they need for picnic and left the estate. They headed to forest and laid the picnic mat near the river bank.

Arrow tugged Akiara's skirt, "Big sis, what's on the other side of the river?"

"Monsters lair." she replied without even looking.

"Then I'm going. It's been a while since I used my claws." He was walking towards the river.

"Be careful and don't wonder too far." She replied setting out the things.

"Okay bye." He jumped off the river and crossed it. He vanished in sight walking deeper part of the forest.

Cordelia popped out of the river. She saw Akiara and smiled. She got out of the river and walked slowly towards them. She smiled but her expression changed when she saw Teivel.

She approached towards Akiara and whispered in her ear, "I see that you bought a friend."

"... hello." Akiara spoke.

"Who might you be?" Teivel asked glaring at her.

"Me? I am Cordelia, Akiara's friend." She slowly hugged her from behind.

Teivel stood up and walked towards her. She pushed her away and hugged her tightly, "How dare you, a filthy nymph touch Akiara?"

Cordelia flinched, "How does this human know that I am a nymph?" she glanced at Akiara and shook her head, "I am sure of it that Akiara did not tell about me."

She smirked, "You must be wondering how I know that you are not human?"

Cordelia's eyes slightly grew wide. She looked at her and nodded.

"That's because of your aura." she gestured her hand to make her go away, "Now excuse us, we are having a date together."

Akiara interrupted, "How about you also join us?"

"Really? Thanks." She smiled sweetly at her and showed a half-smile at Teivel. Teivel glared at her and clenched her teeth.

They sat down and Akiara started serving them sandwiches. Arrow returned after he finished playing. His jaw dropped when he saw Teivel and Cordelia were pulling Akiara's arms from both sides.

He transformed into dragon, "What the hell are you both doing to my big sis?!" he roared making them let go off her. He grabbed her and flew off.

Cordelia used that as an opportunity and casted magic to change her clothes to maid outfit.

She bowed and smirked at her, "From today onwards I will be working as a maid in Verlice mansion M'lady. Please take care of me."

"You.... how did you know?" She glared at her.

She touched her bluish-silver hair, "Who doesn't know that silver hair's of yours? That is the trait of Verlice's bloodline." she slowly approached to get ear and whispered, "I might as well help you both to escape from this place."

Her eyes slightly grew wide," "You will?"

She nodded with a smile. She realized her eyes were filled with questions. "Is there anything you want to ask?"

"Why are you doing this? What will you gain?" Teivel asked.

"Well I'm sure you must have noticed her face without emotions. And I want her to be happy. That's why I am doing this to see her smile even if it is for once."

Teivel looked down, "I see."

Cordelia placed her hands on her shoulder to reassure her. Arrow landed back to ground. He let Akiara down and transformed back to human. Akiara walked towards Teivel. She noticed Cordelia in maid uniform.

Arrow pointed his finger at her, "This woman is going to work with us?"

She bowed and gestured with her skirt, "I look forward working with you both."

"Hey I'm speaking to you!" Arrow shouted.

"Mind your words, lizard." She ruffled his hair.

"How dare you touch my hair!?" Both started rambling to each other.

She looks at Teivel and she nods. She turns her face away, "Whatever."

Cordelia smiled warmly feeling she accomplished her first step.
