Akiara woke up early in the morning. She washed her face and wore her maid uniform. She closed her room's door leaving servant quarters. When she entered entrance hall scent of soap was filled in the air. Her eyes grew wide and looked down. Water and soap foams was spilled on the floor and stairs.

Teivel noticed her, "Hehe, mornin' Akiara!"

"Geez, can't you stop troubling me in early morning." She walked carefully towards her.

Teivel looked sad, "Well... I just wanted to help you."

She took away the mop from her, "I'll teach you how to clean it."

"Really?"

"Yes."

Akiara taught her how to clean the floors. She scolded her ruining her uniform. She had to remove soapy foams from her head as she was playing with it. After they finished cleaning it, Akiara took her to bathroom to get her cleaned. After bathing, Akiara bought a new set of clothes from her room.

"I made these clothes for you." She showed her the clothes.

"Wow! I have never seen such beautiful colored clothes. Thanks Akiara." She hugged her.

Teivel let her go, "I don't know how to wear them. Will you teach me?"

"Sure."

Akiara helped her getting dressed. Teivel went to library while Akiara went to kitchen to cook breakfast for them.

"Teivel breakfast's ready." Akiara called her out from library.

"Coming." She followed her to dining hall. Teivel sat down. Akiara served her. Then Akiara also sat beside her.

"Wow! They look delicious!" She took fork and knife.

"It's nothing special." She cut the the toast and egg together and put it on her mouth.

Teivel noticed how she ate. She also did exactly like her. Akiara noticed her, "Why are you copying me?"

"This is my first time eating this kind of food." She looked at the food.

"..."

"Back then I used to watch that man and his children eating like this and I also wished I could also eat with them." A small tear from the corner of her right eye dripped down.

Akiara caught the tear that was falling off, "If you want to eat any kind of delicacies... I'll cook them for you. Just say me the name."

She held her hands, "Thanks. But I prefer to eat delicacies made by your preference."

"... Eat it or else it will get cold."

"Yes." She smiled and started eating.

Akiara glanced at her eating. Then she shifted her glance back to her food.

"She and I have something in common. Eventhough I suffered for a short period of time but she suffered for half of her life." She said to herself.

After they finished eating, Akiara cleaned the table and headed back to kitchen. At teatime, Akiara noticed Teivel was lying on the bed.

"Man I'm bored to death." She spoke to herself.

She knocked on the door, "Teivel, how about having tea at the garden?"

"Really? Let's go!" She got down the bed and walked behind her.

She walked with Akiara to garden. There was a table with two chairs. Teapot and teacup along with some cupcakes, muffins and cookies were set on the table. Akiara poured tea on the cup. Teivel took the cup and took a small sip.

"It's..... good. Even though I'm tasting it for the first time... do you know how to brew tea?" She looked at Akiara.

Akiara slightly bowed, "Yes Teivel. Back in my wor-home country, cooking and brewing tea and coffee was my specialty."

"I see. But how did you get tea? As far as I know there isn't any in the estate."

"I used my funds to buy necessary things from the town's market."

"I see. But-"

"You don't need to worry about it. Those are my funds." She puts her on the blanket, "It's getting chilly. Make sure not to catch cold." She averted her gaze.

Teivel smiled and enjoyed the autumn wind while having tea. Later that night after putting Teivel to sleep, Akiara went back to her room. She changed her maid uniform to casual shirt and pants. She took a bag, wore a cloak and put on sword's belt and attached the sword. She switched off the light and jumped off the window. She ran towards the wall and jumped off the wall. She ran into deeper part of the forest. When she reached the riverbank, Cordelia was sitting near the bank. She noticed her and smiled.

"Where are you going at this time?"

"Going to hunt monsters."

"Hunting at this time? But monsters are quite dangerous during the night. Their awareness is quite high. You might get ambushed-"

"Don't worry about it. Where can I find them?"

"Once you cross the river you will find the 'monsters lair'." She pointed her finger to the other side of the river.

"Thank you. What do you need in return?"

"Well... if it's possible... can you get me rank B type water monster core?"

"I'll see about it."

She jumped and crossed the river. She walked inside the deeper part of the forest.

"Mid-range awareness."

Her mana spread till five kilometers. She could feel monsters and animals prowling around. She smirked as one monster was standing behind her waiting to pounce on her. As soon as the monster opened its mouth and moved in speed eat her. She unsheathed her sword. She jumped and landed on its upper body. She stabbed it and started running slicing off its upper body. She noticed its monster core. She took the core.

"Purple huh? I need to hunt to gather more cores." She stared at the night sky.

By the time of dawn, she came back unscathed. Cordelia was sitting and her feet were submerged in the water.

"Here's the core you asked for. But it might be little different." She tossed it to her.

She grabbed it and opened her hands. It was a dark blue gem in the shape of three-dimensional hexagon.

"An A-level water core. Thanks a lot!" She smiled brightly.

"..."

She walked away and headed to town. She went to pawn shop to exchange the cores. Then she headed to bookstore.

"Hey kid, bookstore is still not open." Bookstore seller spoke grumpily from the counter.

She showed him one silver coin and placed it on the counter.

"Trying to bribe me?"

She puts two more silver coins on the counter.

He suddenly looked happy, "Take your time miss."

"..."

She walked towards the shelves and picked up few books and came back to the counter. He packed it and she paid the money. She took the books and left the store. Then she bought other groceries and headed back to estate. As she entered, Teivel was standing in the center of the entrance hall in her pajamas.

"Where were you?" She asked staring at her with worried look.
