It was twelve noon. Teivel woke up and got ready. She wore another set of pajamas and left her room. She walked downstairs and headed to kitchen. Akiara was already working with cooking lunch. She suddenly hugged her from behind.
"Mornin' Akiara!"
"What are you doing Teivel?" Akiara was chopping onions.
"I am hugging you what else." She snuggled in her back.
"Geez you are annoying."
"Aww you are so cold. What are you cooking?" She let go off her.
"Rice and fish curry." She poured oil on the pan.
"Curry? What's that?"
"You will know when I finish cooking."
Teivel watched her cooking. She stared at her expression.
"Done. All we have to do is wait for a while till the fishes are cooked." Then she shifted her gaze to Teivel's clothing.
"Why are you wearing pajamas again?" she asked with blunt expression.
"You should already know that I don't have any casual clothes except for night wears."
"Haa... fine we will go for shopping."
"Really? I'm excited to tryon since new clothes! When are we going then?"
"We will go soon. By the way, is there any greenhouse?"
"There is. It is situated at the eastern part of the mansion. Why do you need to know?"
"I'm planning on growing herbs to make medicines."
"I see. I will also help you to plant them." She smiled beaming.
"Whatever you say." She arranged the dishes on the food tray.
They walked to the dining hall. Akiara served food to Teivel. She got up from her seat and walked towards Akiara. She turned her around and came closer. This made Akiara step back but she realized got cornered, she stood there silently. Teivel's face came closer to her but she backed off.

"Since I forced you to change our master-servant relationship to acquaintance... how about we upgrade to being friends? Will you be my friend?"
Akiara's eyes slightly grew wide. She saw a splitting image of Suki-san from Teivel.
[Akiara was sitting alone at the backseat. Someone approached to her with a smiling face.
"It seems that you are alone. I'm Suki. Will you be my friend?" She showed her hand.]
Akiara'a facial expression darkened. She pushed her aside walking away. She opened the door to leave.
She stood at the doorway, "Eat it while its hot."
"Wait! Aren't you gonna-"
Bang! She closed the door.
"Eat... hmm did I say something bad to upset her?" She sat on the chair.
"Nah I don't think so." She started eating her lunch.
"Hmm wow it's so good!"

Akiara took the gardening supplies and headed to eastern side of the mansion. She broke the lock of the greenhouse and entered it. Greenhouse got lighted up as if magic was casted on it. There were dead plants everywhere. She wore garden gloves and started uprooting the dead plants. She suddenly stopped working.
"I got a new life but it seems like I'm still chained by my past life's emotions." She looked at her hands as she felt she was chained and trapped in a darkroom.
She gritted her teeth, "It wasn't her fault." tears started to trickle down her eyes, "I also want to make friends. I'm scared that she would leave me."
Later at evening she went to Teivel's room with a plate of cookies for snacks. As she opened the door, Teivel stood up from the chair.
"You came!"
Akiara placed the plate on the table and kneeled down.
She spoke avoiding her look, "M'lady I apologize for my rude behavior this afternoon. I deserve a punishment and I will gladly accept it."

Teivel looked at her with a serious face. She stood up and walked towards her. She grabbed her chin and her face came closer to hers.
"You will?"
"Yes I will."
Teivel smirked. She touched her shoulders and raised her chin up.
"Then will you become my friend?" She smiled brightly.
"Is that what you want?" She asked in confusion.
"Yes. Why... did you expected me to play with you in a different way?" She smiled at her with flirtatious look.
"N-no! Absolutely not!" Her cheeks flushed red and looked flustered.
"What's your answer?"
"I-I will become friends with you." she replied avoiding her look.
"I can't hear you." She showed her ears teasing her
"WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND?!" She shouted.
"Ouch! That hurts. Yeah I will become your friend!" She showed her hand.
Akiara shook her hand and Teivel suddenly pulled towards her and hugged her.
"W-what are you doing?!"
"Hugging you what else?"
"Let go off me! You are suffocating me!"
"Huh? You are so cold."
She let her go but still her hand was wrapped around her shoulder.
"Why are you still in this position?" She looked at her coldly.
"You know your cold gaze makes me to desire you even more."
"That's enough. I have to go to cook dinner for you."
"Why don't you teach me how to cook?"
"Whatever." She shoved her hand and walking away.
She stood at the door and turned her face, "What are you waiting for?"
"Yaay!" She walked following her.
She started walking with her talking about the estate while heading to kitchen.

The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
