Sun was setting as the seawater was washing the young woman's feet. She was standing at a shore staring at the sunset. Wind flutters her beautiful light bluish silver hair. She swept her hair behind with one hand. She was holding a photo frame. She looked at it and smiled. It was a picture of her along with another girl with jet black hair and blue eyes like the ocean, smiling. Her twinkly ruby eyes were misty and soon tears started falling on the photo. Her eyes were filled with remorse. Then she stared at the orange pinkish sky and closed her eyes as the salty breeze grazed her pale skin.
YEAR
A young teenage girl got undressed and walked inside the shower room. She noticed her reflection on the mirror and walked towards it. She stared herself - her long jet black hair cover her front chest, face complexion was pale with slight cheek bones showing, ocean eyes with no spark of emotions and the body with old and new scars and bruises. She turned her face away and walked towards the shower. She turned on the cold water side. Cold water gushed out stinging her scars and bruises making her flinch and let out silent cry. After shower she got dressed up in black winter sailor uniform, thigh high socks to cover the bruises on the legs. She walked out of the washroom and headed towards kitchen to cook breakfast and bento for her cousin brothers and uncle. After they had breakfast she washed the dishes and took a slice of bread, wore a hoodie jacket and picked up her schoolbag and left the apartment for the school.
High school
She changed her regular shoes to school shoes from the shoe locker. She walked towards her classroom. As she walked past her classmates to her desk, they ignored her like she never existed. As usual her desk was vandalized by some mean girls from her class. They were smirking at her waiting for any kind of reaction. She silently sat on the chair without saying anything. At lunch break she sat under a tree and closed her eyes to forget about her worries and guilt for a while. Suddenly those mean girls from her class gathered around her. She felt their presence and opened her eyes. She stood up silently without saying any word.

"What's your problem huh?" Their leader pushed her hardly.
"..."
"Always trying to act like a cool girl." The other girl kicked her on the stomach.
She flinched in pain as she rolled as there was already a bruise she got beaten with baseball bat by her aunt.
"You're nothing but a useless piece of trash."
"..."
"Hey why you don't speak?" She grabbed her collar and punched on her face. It bruised at the tip of the left side of the lips. Faint blood dripped from the bruised part.
"Let's go. She is useless to mess with her anymore." She threw her on the ground and they walked away.
She stood up and dusted off her clothes. Suddenly her phone rang. Her phone wasn't up to the new versions phone but usable to receive calls and messages. She answered her phone call.
"Hello manager?"
"Sorry Nakamura-san but can you come early because the chef from another shift is on sick leave."
"Oh-okay I will."
"Thank you Nakamura-san!"
She kept her phone back inside the pocket and headed back to class.
After her school, she heard to hospital to pay a small visit to her small sister. She walked inside the room no. 245. A small girl was sleeping on the bed peacefully. Life support cables were attached on her hands, she was bandaged as half of her face and body got disfigured during the accident three years ago and an oxygen mask was on her mouth to support her for breathing. She was staring at her little sister. She sat beside her. It was suffocating to see her small sister in this state. She bit her lower lip and held her hand praying to God to cure her quickly so that she can see the world again. Tears streamed down as she was silently crying for her sister.

Just then a nurse entered with some files for checking on her sister.
"Good afternoon. How are you Akiara?"
The girl with black hair replied, "Good afternoon. I'm fine. How is my sister doing?"
"She is doing great. Only the problem is that she will ever regain conscious." She was writing down her heart rate and blood pressure.
"SHE WILL! I know she will." She nearly shouted.
The nurse got startled but then smiled seeing her determination,"Okay then see you both later." She walked out the room and closed the door.
Then she stood up approached towards her and kissed on her forehead. She walked towards the door,"Get well soon, Mitsuko."and closed the door behind.
As she was waiting for the train to arrive, she received a phone call from a caller named 'Mizuho Aunt'. She answered the call without any second thought.
"Hello."
"Hello my sweet niece! How are you?" A sweet and excited sound was heard from other side.
When she heard her voice she wanted to cry. She bit her lower lip, "I am doing fine, Aunt. You don't need to worry."
"My sweet niece, if you ever need financial support I will gladly help in however way I can, okay?"
"I will keep that in mind."
"Say..... are you happy being by your uncle's side?"
This question caught her off guard. She remembered all the beatings and torture that was given to her just to make her obedient. She replied, "Yes I am happy."
"If you need help call me, okay?"
"Okay."
She kept her phone back on pocket and headed inside the train that will take her to her workplace.
Maid Café. Her only favourite place to feel that she is safe even if it is for few hours of her work time. She wore her maid uniform and chef's apron to start cooking in the kitchen. Her colleague, Sakurako-san noticed her bruise on her lips. She walked towards and stared her face.
"Where did you get hurt Akiara-chan?"
"O-oh that? I'm actually clumsy so don't worry about it." She walked away from changing room.
"Hmmm... whatever." Sakurako-san packed her things and walked out the room.
"Omurice and chocolate parfait for table no.5 is ready." She shouted as she started cooking another set for the other table.
After she finished working her shift, her manager patted her head.
"Good work today Nakamura-san." She smiled warmly at her.
"Thanks manager. Take care." She walked away.
She started running towards home.
"Oh crap! I'm late. Aunt is gonna scold me and beat me to death. Hurry Akiara hurry!" She ran as fast as she could. As she reached her home and opened the door her phone rang. It was a call from the hospital.
"Hello, Akiara speaking."
Her eyes grew wide,"What?"
