Kai's POV

It's time. We're ready.

"Alpha, it's time", the omega said from yesterday

I nodded and we went downstairs. I found myself surrounded by thousands of people. I went half way down the stairs. Everyone went silent

"Amara's been kidnapped and I need her back", I yell tricking them

"How", someone yelled

"Her brother took her back and we need to save her", I say

"Lets go", someone yelled

"Wait. All the pregnant women and kids under 14 stay here", I say

They nod and we leave

"They're here", I say through the window

He nods.

"Meeting time", he sighs

I nod and follow him down the stairs.

"Listen up. There is a war coming now. Women that are pregnant and children under 17 go to the panic room and stay there until we get you. We can win this. We have the training and the skill. I believe in you", Nate says

We all go outside and shift

Nate and I look at each other and lick each other's face. I nod and we go.

The war started and it last for awhile. 90 of us got wounded and only 7 of us died. We will have a proper funeral.

Kai's pack and 100 wounded and 40 dead. We trained or family not to kill unless absolutely nessary.

Kai found me and Nate. He growled and challenged us to a duel. He shifted and Nate shifted. I decided to shift. Not caring that I am naked.

"Is this really what you left me for", Kai said to me

I nodded as my mark burned. I winced

"It's burning isn't it. It's been burning for awhile now."

I give him the evil eye.

"You never removed it. You forgot to remove it", he laughed

"Shut up". Nate finally yelled

Kai growled and I growled twice as loud.

"Come on little wolf. Let's fight", Kai said to Nate

Nate was smaller than Kai but twice as strong.

"Lets", Nate said and they shifted.

They lunged. And fought until it happened

"NO", I yelled
