Amara's POV
We have like 50 bags and we only got here 30 minutes ago.
"What's this stuff", I ask and point to the colored chalk powder
"That's eye shadow", she said
I gave her a confused look
"Omg. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT MAKEUP IS", she shrieked
She went in and grabbed stuff call Concealer, Eyeliner, and Mascara.
We finally left!!!
The whole way home she rambled on about how I don't know what makeup was.
We got home and some girl helped us put the bags in my room. She started putting the clothes on hangers in the walk in closet.
"Bathroom", I asked
"Down 5 doors on the right", she said from the closet
I went five doors down. Halfway there Kai came upstairs. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever. He was about to say something when I spotted the bathroom.
Damn it Amara, a voice yelled in my head
I went to the bathroom and came out and back to my room
"Here", she says and hands me a weird device
"What is this", I ask
"A phone?", she said
"Oh....OK?", I questioned
She then showed me how a phone worked, very fascinating. We went to the kitchen.
"Hey, Kat", I ask
"Yeah" she asked messing with the phone
"What's a mate", I ask
She freezes. She puts the phone down
"They're like the other half of your soul. You need them. You look at them and you just know. Your stomach flips and you can't stop thinking about them."
"Oh"
"I don't think I want one", I say
She looks at me like I high
"Well if I meet him. He's gonna be to good. Then he will somehow find a way to reject me", I sigh
"You'd be surprised", she mutters

"Have you met me, he won't approve. For god sakes look", I said
I lifted my stomach and she saw all my scars from where my brother cut me and burned me
I put my shirt down "Don't tell", I say
"I won't", she said
"Please don't treat me differently now", I say
"I won't. And I guarantee he wouldn't reject you", she says
I smiled
"I'm hungry", she whined
We went downstairs
"What do you want", I ask
"Grilled cheese", she smiled
"Is it OK if I can use the cooking utensils", I ask
She shrugs
A woman walks in.
"Amara, it's nice to meet you", the woman says
She has Black long curly hair and green eyes.
"I'm Luna Danneel. But you can call me Luna. I'm Kat's mom", she says and hugs me
"Mom can Amara use the kitchen to make me food", Kat asked
"Yes. wait you know how to cook", she asked
I smile. I get butter, bread, and cheese.
"Can you make four please", Luna smiles. Her voice is comforting
I nod and make four. I give one to Kat and Luna
"Omg", Kat moans
"This is delicious", Luna smiles
"Can you go give the other to my son Kai and Alpha", Luna says
I hesitantly nod and take the plates up. I go to Kai's room first
In and out Amara, I think
I knock then enter. He looks up from his phone, and smiles. I put the plate on his desk next to the door and leave quickly, after shutting the door.
I go to the Alpha's room, I can feel Kai still staring at me from his door. I knock on the Cedar doors.
"Come in", his deep voice says
I silently put the plate on his desk.
"Luna told me to bring this to you. Alpha.", I bow

"Thank you Amara", he smiles
I leave and head back downstairs to clean up the mess. Kai is down there talking to Kat putting his plate in the sink. I quietly washed the dishes with Kai staring at me. I go upstairs.
"Are you going to bed", Kat asks
"Yes. If that's OK", I said nervous
"Why would it not be OK,", she asked
"Do you have any other work for me to do Luna", I say and look at her
She laughed "No Amara you may go to bed"
I headed upstairs as Kat went to her room
Kai's POV
"Mom, her voice", I say
"Like an angel", she smiles
"Did she make that grilled cheese", I asked
She nodded
"That was the best I've ever tasted. No offense mom", I smile
She laughed
"She almost talked to me", I say
"I'll tell the pigs. So they can get ready to fly. Get it 'When pigs fly'. I'm hilarious", she smiles and goes upstairs
I plunk down on the chair

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?

Devil
A reimagining of history and the world through the point of view of the Devil. The Devil will be based of what I've learned and read about the Devil not going along with a single religion's view on the Devil. The chapters will be around 1000 words, and I will post most days of the week. Please leave a comment to let me know what you like or dislike and how I can improve or how you would like the story to progress.

Keepers of the Neeft
The Indigo Empire has conquered half the world’s nations, their people, and their gods. According to its citizens, old and new, the rest of the world will follow. In the capital of the Throne-home, the Imperial Academy produces the next generation of great leaders to drive that expansion. Cadryn Bence knows he will be one such leader, he’s overcome his common birth, mixed heritage, and every other obstacle to be the top of his class. He dreams of glory on the southern front against the Gravanik States. He will not be finding it. Instead, if the glory he expects. Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. Through the machinations of the Emperor’s state religion, and a cult within it, Cadryn will find himself on his way to this first assignment. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
