Kyra
"One, two..."
"Three!" I nodded. "Four, five, six..."
"Sev." I shook my head no. "Seven babe,"
"Seven." She repeated.
"Eight, nine, ten..."
She shrugged her tiny shoulders and I laughed. "It's eleven Reese Cup," I said closing her book and scooping her into my arms.
"Eleven." I nodded. I put her book into the bookcase and made my way into her closet. I was trying to see if she had a favorite color. She was gaining her own personality and I wanted to figure out what she likes.
"What color are you wearing today?" I asked as we stood, I front of the color wheel. Reese has so many clothes to choose from, so I let her have a little input on her daily outfits. I put a color wheel on the wall in her closet and every morning I ask her to point to the color she wants to wear that day.
She pointed to the yellow block and I nodded before giving her a bath. I'm pretty positive Reese's favorite color is blue. She likes wearing blues.
I picked out a pretty, flowy, yellow tank top with a thin, white cardigan and tan shorts. I got her some cute yellow and white polka dot sandals and got her dressed before starting on her hair.
When I had Josh, I thought he had a lot of hair, but Reese was a whole other ball game. It was long and wavy/curly like mine. Luckily for me, she didn't mind getting her hair done.
I wrapped her hair in a cute bun and slid her gold charm bracelet on her little wrist.
"Daddy?" Reese questioned, running her tiny fingers through my hair. My babies loved to play in my hair for some reason. "Daddy's not here. He'll be back soon." I said kissing her cheek.
Cam was taking us to Disneyland. He and Josh had gone out to get gas for the ride, but I wasn't sure if Josh was dressed. I hope Cam made him take a bath before they left. That just takes up extra time.
I helped Reese into her chair, and she watched as I cut up some apples and laid them in from of her along with some dry cereal. Josh walked in the kitchen and waved.
"What's for breakfast?"
"How does pancakes sound? Cause if not, cereal is in the pantry."
"Chocolate chips and whipped cream?" I nodded and sat his food in front of him. "I even cut it up for you babe." He licked his lips and grabbed his fork.
I started to make me and Cam's plates, making sure to give him a lot since his skinny ass can eat. I sat our food on the table and went to put all the dishes in the sink. His wet lips connected to my cheek and I smiled.

"Foods on the table." I announced, turning around. His lips connected to mine and I moaned as his hands slid down my body. "Can I eat you instead?" He mumbled lowly.
I bit his lip and watched it pop back into place. "Later... But for now, eat what I cooked." I smacked his butt and he kissed his teeth. "Kyra." He warned.
He hated when I did that, he thought it was-"Gay!" Josh yelled.
I grilled him and sat down at the table next to Cam. "I don't like that word Josh. Don't use it." I scolded.
"But, daddy calls uncle Austin gay all the time!" He protested crossing his arms. I laughed. "And he's wrong too. Next time he says it. You tell him to stop. Kay, babe?" Josh nodded and I ruffled his hair.
"Aren't you happy you cut that bush off Josh?" Cam asked frowning. Josh shrugged. "I don't know, I kind of miss my hair."
"I don't, I used to have to braid it. I think you look very handsome baby. "I smiled and rubbed his soft curls. Instead of that bush, Josh now rocked a cut fade with a part.
Cam groaned. "He looks like a girl with all that damn hair. Almost had more hair than Reese." He pinched her nose and she laughed over dramatically.
"Somebody's 3rd birthday is coming up." Cam said, stealing one of her apple slices and feeding her a little piece of his pancake.
"Yeah, I wonder what we should do. She is still a little young to pick out something to do." I said taking a sip of my juice.
"I uh, I meant to talk to you about that." I looked up from my plate confused. I looked at Cam and his eyes told it all.
"Cam...no." I said dropping my fork on my plate. Josh and Reese both looked up startled. "My bad babies..." I mumbled.
"I'm sorry, Ky. If I could take off, you know I would. It's just there's no sick days in the NBA unless you're actually sick or injured." I held back my tears and pushed my chair back.
I kissed Reese's head before walking out of the kitchen. I sat on the stairs and put my head in my hands.
Josh was born near the end of the basketball playoff season, so we never had to worry about him missing his birthday, but Taylor's birthday was right in the middle of the actual basketball season.
"Baby," he sighed pulling me into his arms. "I promise, I'll spend the whole day with her. Fuck practice aight?"

"You missed her first and second birthday parties Cam. How many more? How many more will you be absent for?" I pleaded.
"I know this shit isn't fair. But as long as that little girl knows I love her, missing a few birthdays won't be so bad, long as she understands where I'm at. Now, she won't even know it's her birthday she just a thinks the day is about her." I nodded.
"Let's get out of here and enjoy this day aight? Well figure out her birthday plans later. We still have a few months." He kissed my lips and I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you Mr. Johnson."
"I love you more Mrs. Johnson."
Cam
I kissed all over Reese's face making a huge smile cover her face. She tightened her arms around my neck and giggled into my skin making me laugh. We were sitting on a bench waiting on Kyra.
"You two are so cute!" I looked up to see Layla. A girl who I met when I was in physical therapy a few years ago.
"Thanks. Damn, where you been Layla?" I asked, placing Reese on her feet.
Taylor was two, almost three, but she was tiny. We called her by her middle name most of the time, I don't know why. She had really long brown hair from Kyra and a smile identical to Joshua's, she was a little darker than him though. Josh was still pale as the day I met him.
"I've been around. It's nice to see you," I smiled. "You too."
"Is this your daughter?" She asked, squatting down to Reese's level and poking her little belly. Reese just stared at her. I nodded. "Say hi Taylor."
Reese gave a small wave and the girl smiled. "Hi, Taylor. My name is Layla."
Reese continued to stare, and I chuckled. "I don't know what's wrong with her. She's a motor mouth."
"I didn't know you had a daughter." I chuckled. "I didn't have any kids when we met." I informed her.
"Mommy..." Reese mumbled wrapping her arms around my leg.
Layla looked up at me confused and Reese pointed. I looked up and smiled. Kyra was walking towards us with Joshua on her back. He had a big smile matching hers on his face.
"Go head." Reese let my leg go and ran to meet Kyra. Kyra let Josh down and scooped Reese up tossing her in the air. I heard the cute little giggles from here.
"Here," Josh said handing me a snow come before sitting beside me. "Who is this?"
"This is Layla." I said as Layla stood up and smiled. "Layla, this is my son Joshua."
"Wassup?" She laughed. "Nice to meet you."
"Reese, if you get that on your nice shirt, I'm going to be very upset." Kyra warned as Reese licked away at Kyra's snow cone.
"Didn't you bring her extra clothes?" I asked. Kyra nodded staring at Layla. "Hi." Layla said with a smile.
Kyra waved confused. "Hello?"
"Aye, this is my friend Layla. I met her at Hillcrest." Kyra nodded. "Six years ago?" I nodded.
"Well, hi. I'm Kyra." They shook hands and Kyra sat down biting into the snow cone.
"I didn't know you had a girlfriend Cam. How long have you two been together?"
I coughed. "We've been married for three years." Layla frowned. "Oh, that's nice." I nodded.
"Yeah, actually we've got some rides left to get on so we should get going." She nodded. "How can I stay in contact with you?" She asked grabbing my arm.
I reached out my hand and she quickly handed me her phone. I put my number in her contacts and grabbed Reese from Kyra. I started cleaning her mouth off with a wet wipe.
My baby is such a mess maker. At lease she didn't get it on her clothes.
"See you around." I said lifting Reese on my shoulders. "Say bye Reese Cup." Kyra said acting as if she was biting her little legs.
"Bye bye!" She screamed laughing. I laughed and grabbed her making sure she wouldn't fall as we walked away, once she calmed, she grabbed a hold of my hair and I grabbed Kyra's hand,
"She was nice," I nodded. "Yeah. When I met her, she had got into a car accident with her boyfriend and she had a neck problem they fixed."
"Mama, can I get on that?" Josh said pointing to a ride.
"Sure baby, but it's too big for me." She grabbed Reese from me and patted my back. "Have fun boys, me and Reese are going to go check out the castle."
I nodded. "Keep your phone on." I ordered kissing her lips a few times. "See you guys later," she said kissing Joshua.
"Ready to go see Cinderella and Princess Jasmin?!" Kyra hyped getting Reese excited,
"Let's go lil nigga." I said as we walked to get in line. My son was so brave, this roller coaster is big as shit.
