Y/n's POV:
I groan to myself.
Tuesdays are almost as bad as Mondays.
I find it difficult to listen to the professor drone on about god knows what, and the guy behind me is seriously starting to get on my nerves. He keeps making comments on my clothes and my hair, and even though I don't care about his insults, it still manages to piss me off. Several times I've debated turning around and making my own comments, but I refrain from doing so.
Ugh, someone needs to tel him to pull his head out of his ass.
I pull out my phone deciding to text Ghost.
Me: yo
Ghost: 🤨🥱
Me: cmon u know u love me
Ghost: no
Me: yes
Ghost: nope
Me: 🥹
Me: anyway there's this guy that's pissing me off
Me: and I really wanna hit him
Ghost: what's he doing?
Me: the bitch keeps making comments about me behind my back
Me: 'they're probs poor, I mean look at those shoes'
Me: ' and look at their pants I mean come on they reek of poverty '
Me: like bro if ur gonna call me out on my lack of money, at least make the insult creative
Me: oop
Ghost: what?
Me: lmao the professor just told him to shut up, man I love that teacher
Me: NO WAY
Me: LMAO WAIT
Me: THE BITCH'S NAME IS CHAD I CANT-
( sorry to all those people named chad, I'm sure you guys are cool
Ghost: damn
Ghost: want me to take care of him for u?
Me: lol what can u possibly do?
Ghost: a lot of things....
Me: damn bro u good?

Ghost: sorry

Me: wanna talk about it?
Ghost: not really lol
Me: ah ok
Me: hold up, gtg
I scribbled down the notes that were on the board, hoping that none of it would be on our finals.
This makes no sense.
I run out of the classroom, bag swinging over my shoulder.
I decide to head over to the 7/11 once again, seeing as I was running out of snacks in my apartment. The walk over wasn't super long, but it was boring without anyone to accompany me. I arrive at the small building shortly, pushing open the doors quickly. I have my eyes set for the snack aisle, and when I get there, I immediately look for ( f/s ). I'm about to grab the last bag when someone beats me to it.
" Oh shit sorry." I apologize quickly, retreating my hand from the packaging.
" It's quite alright, here it's all yours......?" The man replied, handing over the package.
Realizing he was asking for my name, I answered quickly.
" Y/n, nice to meet you...?"
" Jason Dean, you can call me JD for short."
My eyes widen, and I quickly pull out my phone.
Me: JD this u???
The male's phone goes off.
He looks at the message, and then back at me.
" Well it's certainly nice to meet you Phantom."

Alcar's life sucks. His days in the poor quarter of the city of Katresburg are long and tough, his parents treat him like garbage, and he doesn’t have a silver moon to his name. But Alcar knows that there is an exciting world of adventure out there. And when he sees a half-orc master sorcerer walking through his neighborhood, he decides to grab his chance. He approaches Master Maluhk to offer his services as an apprentice. And to his shock, the sorcerer agrees to let him come and try his luck along with several other applicants. Soon though, it is all too clear that Alcar, clumsy and lazy as he is, lacks any natural magical talent. It also becomes apparent that Master Maluhk is only interested in ’apprentices’ in order to get someone to do his laundry and tidy up his books. At best, Alcar and the others have signed up to do unpaid labor. Things go from bad to worse when his fellow applicants for the role of apprentice prove to be reckless in the extreme, and as Master Maluhk’s tower catches fire, Alcar soon finds himself being blamed for their misdemeanors. Can Alcar clear his name, gain another chance, and learn enough to show that he has the potential to be a proper sorcerer’s apprentice? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
