*Ava's POV*
It's been a week since Paul had his stroke and heart attack. We've all been very stressed. especially Lynn and Justin. Lynn is scared to death of losing her husband, while Justin is scared of what is going to happen in the end. He thinks that I don't know he's so scared, like c'mon he's my husband, I know him like a book.
It was our turn to stay overnight at the hospital. We are going to sleep on the couches in the waiting room. Justin was watching Jimmy's show when I sat next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder and he kissed my forehead.
"How have you been?" I asked him.
"Alright." He lied.
"Don't lie to me Justin." I said. He looked at me with a confused look on his face. "I know you're scared to death." I said.
"Of course I am. He's my step dad, Ava. He was my father when my own wasn't. He's been there for me most of my life." He said.
"I know Justin. I'm so proud of you for keeping your mom strong, but it's okay to be scared too. It's not okay to keep it all in." I said. He looked at me and began to cry.
"I just can't lose him, not yet. What will mom do? She can't lose him. He's all she basically has, besides me. She loves him more than anything in this world." He cried. I held him as he cried. I then began to cry. Even though I've only known Paul for a year I am still so scared.
"Everything is going to be okay." I told him.
"How do you know that Ava?" He asked me.
"I don't know." I sighed.

"Ava promise me you won't tell anyone what I'm going to tell you." He said. I nodded my head.
"I promise." I nodded.
"I of course want Paul to be okay, but deep down inside I don't think all of this is going to end well." He admitted.
"Justin what do you mean?" I asked him.
"I think that either Paul won't recover from this or he won't make it." He told me.
"Justin Randall Timberlake! Don't say that!" I gasped.
"I'm sorry, but just think Ava. He just had a stroke and a heart attack." He sighed.I Iooked at him and sighed.
"You can never tell your mom this." I said.
"I know. I can never tell her." He said. We both sat there quietly. Jimmy's voice on the TV filled the room.
"So you all know that I am very close with Justin and Ava Timberlake. Well Justin's step father is in the hospital. So could everyone just pray for him. I don't care what religion you are, just please pray for him." He smiled. Justin and I both smiled at the TV.
"Remind me to thank him." Justin smiled.
"I will." I smiled. We sat together and watched Jimmy's show until it was over.
"It's nice to get a good laugh in." Justin smiled.
"Well with Jimmy there's always going to be some laughs." I laughed.
"Good point." He chuckled.
"I'm tired." I yawned.
"I'll bring the couch over here and we can lay together." He said. He got up and moved the couch over to the couch that I'm sitting on. They are now facing each other. He climbed onto the couch and climbed under the covers with me. We both slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Code blue! Code blue!" I heard people yell. I opened my eyes and looked over at Justin, but he wasn't there. A code blue means somebody's heart has stopped.
"Oh my God." I said quietly. I ran out of the waiting room and back to where the rooms are. A nurse tried to stop me.
"Miss you can't go back there." She told me.
"I have to see of it's my family member." I told her. Then Justin appeared.
"Ava!" He said. The nurse stopped and let me go pass. I ran over to him.
"Is it Paul?" I asked him. He sighed and shook his head. I sighed and hugged him tightly.
"I was so scared." I said.
"I know," He kissed my forehead. "So was I." He said. We went back to the waiting room and laid down again.
"What if that was Paul?" I asked him. He sighed and looked at me.
"I don't know." He sighed.
"We're going to get through this Justin, together." I told him.
"I know." He nodded.
The next morning everyone came to the hospital. Mom and Dad brought donuts!
"Yes! Food!" Justin cheered. The cafeteria food is disgusting. The best thing down there is coffee, cookies and ice cream. Everyone began to eat.
"Thanks Mom. Thanks Dad." I smiled as I began to take a bite of my donut.
"Thanks Mom. Thanks Dad." Stephen, Jonathan, Jimmy, and Justin all said. My Mom and Dad both laughed.
"You're welcome my children." Dad laughed.
*Justin's POV*
As we ate our donuts I glanced over at my mom. She isn't eating anything.
"Mom why aren't you eating?" I asked her.
"I'm not hungry." She shrugged.
"You sure?" I asked as I slowly slid a donut over to her. She smiled and pushed it back.
"I'm sure." She smiled. I smiled at her and continued to eat.
Lunch time then came and I got everyone pizza. I noticed that she wasn't going to eat.
"Mom?" I asked her.
"Yeah?" She smiled at me.
"Not hungry?" I nodded at the pizza. She sighed and looked at the floor. I sighed and sat next to her. "Mom you need to eat." I told her.
"I'm just not hungry." She sighed.
"I know but you need to eat." I said. She didn't say anything. "Mom Paul would want you to eat." I told her. She looked at me and nodded. I smiled and made her a plate of pizza. "There you go!" I smiled as I handed her the plate.
"Thanks." She smiled. I smiled at her and I began to eat. I looked over at Ava and she smiled at me. I looked around at our family. We all looked happy for once. Maybe everything will start to get better.
