《'Cause it's like you're my mirror (A Justin Timberlake Fan Fiction)》Chapter Fifty

*Justin's POV*
The past two months have gone great. Ava is falling back in love with me and I'm falling back in love with her. We both are very happy. We adopted a pitbull named Tina! Her and Jimmy's dog Gary get along great. By the way Gary is a girl. I have no idea why Jimmy would name a female dog, Gary.
Ava and I have been staying in New York. We both like the city. Maybe in a month or two we'll go to LA for awhile. New York is sort of like Ava's comfort zone.
Ava and I are getting ready to take Tina out for a walk.
"Justin are you ready to go?" Ava asked me. She was at the door with Tina. She is wearing a pink v-neck t-shirt, pink Nikes and Capri black yoga pants that made her butt look amazing. I am wearing a Memphis Grizzlies T-shirt, black Nikes and a pair of black basketball shorts
"Yeah." I smiled. She gave me a weird look.
"Are you checking out my ass?" She laughed.
"Maybe." I grinned. She laughed and opened the door.
"Stare all you want Timberlake." She smiled.
"Believe me I will." I grinned. She laughed and playfully smacked my arm. Tina then suddenly barked.
"Calm down girl, we're going!" I laughed. Ava, Tina and I all walked out of the building and down the sidewalk. Both of us were wearing sunglasses so hopefully nobody will recognize us. I held her hand as we walked with Tina.
"It's a nice day." She smiled as we walked.
"Yeah it it." I smiled. Tina suddenly stopped walking.
"What's wrong Tina?" Ava asked her. Tina then squatted and pooped.
"Oh God Tina." I groaned.
"Did you get the bag?" Ava asked me.
"Shit. I forgot." I sighed.
"I'll go in that dog store and get a bag." Ava said.
"I can go if you want." I said.

"No it's fine." She said. She then began her way across the street.
"I love you!" I called. She looked at me and smiled.
"I love you too!" She smiled back.
*Ava's POV*
I walked into the dog store and made my way to the front desk, when I heard my name. I turned around and saw Britney Spears.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Why are you being so nice?" She frowned.
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked her.
"Wow the rumors must be true. You really did lose your memory." She smirked. I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a corner where nobody was.
"Don't say anything please." I said.
"Don't worry I won't." She smiled.
"Thanks." I smiled. She's so nice!
"So are you and Justin still together?" She smiled at me.
"Yes." I smiled.
"Well there's something you should know." She said.
"What is it?" I asked her. She leaned close to my ear and whispered in it. I gasped when I heard what she said. I then stormed out of the store and went over to Justin.
"Hey where's the bag?" He smiled. How can he look so happy?
"Forget about it. Let's go home." I said.
"We just got out here. What's wrong Ava?" He said.
"Nothing. Let's just go." I snapped. I'm officially on the verge of tears. He sighed and nodded. We walked back home in silence. When we got the apartment I went straight to our room and slammed the door. Justin followed me.
"Ava what's wrong?" He asked me through the closed door.
"Don't act stupid Justin." I said as I felt a tear stream down my face.
"I honestly don't know what's going on!" He sighed.
"Just go." I cried. I heard him sigh.
"Alright, but just know I love you." He said. I cried even more when I heard him say that. How could this man who claims to love me, cheat on me with Britney Spears?

*Justin's POV*
I sighed as I walked into the living room. I have no idea what's wrong with Ava. I just want her to talk to me, but of course she won't. It hurts me to see her upset. I just want her to be happy.
I walked over to the grand piano that sat in the living room and sat down. I played a few keys and then decided what I would play.
There's a thousand words that I could say
To make you come home
Oh, seems so long ago you walked away
Left me alone
I remember what you said to me
You were acting so strange
and maybe I was too blind to see
That you needed a change
I haven't sung this song in so long. I sung softly as I made the piano play.
Was it something I said
To make you turn away?
To make you walk out and leave me cold
If I could just find a way
To make it so that you were right here
But right now.
For some reason this song felt right to sing.
*Ava's POV*
I've been sitting here
Can't get you off my mind
I've tried my best to be a man and be strong
I've drove myself insane
Wishing I could touch your face
But the truth remains.
I heard Justin's voice echo threw the apartment. I sat on our bed with a box of tissues. I have been crying my eyes out. How could he not tell me that he cheated on me? That is a pretty big thing to tell someone who doesn't remember anything!
Why would I marry someone who cheated on me? I always said that if someone was to cheat on me I would stop seeing them. Was I really stupid before I lost my memory?
You're gone..
You're gone..
Baby you're gone
Girl you're gone, baby girl, you're gone..
You're gone..
You're...
Maybe I should just talk to him and hear the story. Maybe she was lying. But why would someone lie about something this huge?
I sighed and walked out of the room. Justin is still singing.
I don't wanna make excuses, baby
Won't change the fact that you're gone
But if there's something that I could do
Won't you please let me know?
The time is passing so slowly now
Guess that's my life without you
and maybe I could change my every day
But baby I don't want to
When I walked into the room he looked up and saw me. He stopped playing the piano.
"You're an amazing singer." I said.
"Thanks." He said. He got up from the piano and walked over to me. " Ava what happened?" He asked me.
"When were you going to tell me you cheated on me?" Tears formed in my eyes.
"I never cheated on you. Who told you that?" He looked shocked.
"Britney did." I cried.
"Baby I never cheated on you." He told me as he wiped away my tears.
"Why should I believe you?" I asked him as I pushed his hand away from my face.
"Because I would never cheat on you. Just let me explain." He said. I sighed and nodded. We both sat on the couch together.
"A couple days after we had the miscarriage we got drunk on whiskey together. You said that you wished you never would've stayed with me. So we got into a argument about that. I left and went to a coffee shop to think, when Britney came and insisted I talk to her. You saw us and thought I was cheating on you with her." He explained.
"How do I know I cam believe you?" I asked him.
"Because you can ask anyone and they will tell you what happened. Plus I love you more than anything in this world." He said. I looked at him. It seemed like he was telling the truth, but could I believe him?

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.
