*Justin's POV*
I slowly opened my eyes. Where am I? I looked around and realized where I am. A hospital. My parents sat around me. They still haven't noticed that I'm awake.
Ava! Where's Ava?
"Where's Ava?." I asked quietly. They all looked and saw me.
"Justin." My mom cried. She kissed my forehead as the tears streamed down her face.
"Where's Ava?" I asked again. All of them looked at eachother.
"Where is she? I want to see her now!" I said.
"Justin you can't see her yet." Dad Said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because she's still unconscious." He sighed. I looked at him in shock. No, this can't be true.
"How long have I been out?" I asked.
"A day." Lisa answered.
"The baby." I said. They all looked at me and then looked at the ground. Mom and Lisa started crying. They tried to hide it from me but they couldn't.
"Is the baby?" I asked. I couldn't finish the rest of my sentence. I couldn't say the word.
"I'm sorry Justin." Paul sighed. Tears formed in my eyes and I felt them stream down my face.
"No! You're lying." I yelled. I then tried to get out of the bed but dad held me down.
"Justin. The baby is gone." He said with tears streaming down his face.
"No! This can't be happening! You're lying!" I cried.
"I wish I was son." He cried.
"How am I going to tell Ava?" I asked.
"I don't know but you have to calm down. Ava needs you now more than ever." He said. I nodded and tried to calm down but I couldn't.
"She can't be gone." I cried. Dad hugged me as we cried together.
Suddenly the door to the room opened. It was Jamie ans Alexis. Both of them looked like they have been crying.
"I'm so sorry." I said. Alexis walked over to me and we hugged.
"It's not your fault Justin." She said.
"Yes it is." I said.
"Don't blame yourself Justin." Jamie Said.
"Have you seen Ava yet?" I asked them.
"No we don't want to see her until she knows about." Alexis said.
"I'll tell her." I said.
"The doctor Said we can get you a wheelchair and you can go to her room." Mom said. I nodded and they got me a wheelchair. Dad wheeled me to her room. I guess she woke up a little bit ago.

"Justin." She smiled when she saw me.
"Ava." I smiled. Dad wheeled me over to her bed and then left us.
"I thought something happened to you." She cried as we hugged.
I wish it was me, I thought to myself.
"I'll never leave." I smiled.
"They won't tell me about how the baby is Justin." She sighed. I looked at the ground.
"Justin?" She asked.
"Ava I'm sorry." I cried. I couldn't look at her.
"No. She is not gone." She cried. I looked up at her and saw tears streaming down her face.
"I'm so sorry. I would do anything to get her back for you." I cried. She then started sobbing and I held onto her.
"What are we going to do?" She cried.
"I don't know." I said. I wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead.
"We'll figure it out together." I said. She nodded and we kissed.
"I love you." She sniffled.
"I love you too." I said.
Two days later we were allowed to go home. We both didn't want to go home. That was where we were supposed to raise Annie together.
"Do you want me to make us something to eat?" I asked her as we walked into the house.
"No." She said as she walked upstairs.
"Jimmy and Nancy are going to be here in a couple hours." I said. She didn't answer me. I sighed and walked into the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of water and drank it. I then sat in the living room and got on Twitter. I realized Ava and I would have to tell the world what happened. I'll just have Johnny or someone do it.
A couple hours later Jimmy and Nancy came. Winnie wasn't with them.
"Where's Winnie?" I asked.
"She didn't want to come." Nancy Said.
"Why?" I asked.
"She didn't want to see you and Ava so sad." Jimmy answered. I sighed and nodded.
"Where's Ava?" Nancy asked.
"Upstairs." I sighed.
"How long has she been up there?" She asked.
"Since we got home." I sighed. Nancy nodded and walked upstairs.
"How have you been?" Jimmy asked me.
"Not so good." I sighed.
"I'm so sorry man." Jimmy sighed.
"Thanks." I said.
"If you and Ava ever need anything you know that Nancy and I will be there." Jimmy said.
"Thanks man." I said.

"You're welcome." He smiled.
*Ava's POV*
I sat in Justin and I's bed. I still can't believe she's gone. This can't be happening.
"Ava?" Someone knocked on the door. It was Nancy.
"Come in." I said. She opened the door and walked in. She immediately came and hugged me.
"Oh Ava I'm so sorry." She cried.
"Thank you Nancy." I cried.
"Is there anything I can do?" We stopped hugging and sat on the bed together.
"No not really, but thank you." I said.
"You know Jimmy and I are here if you ever need anything." Nancy Said.
"I know and that's why I love you guys so much." I smiled. She smiled and we hugged again.
"Where's Winnie?" I asked her.
"She's with your parents and Justin's parents." She answered.
"Well that's nice." I said.
"Yeah she wanted to spend time with them." She nodded. "How have you been Ava?" She asked me.
"Alright I guess. I just seem lost." I sighed.
"I know exactly what you're going threw. Before Jimmy and I had Winnie I had a miscarriage."She told me.
"I'm so sorry Nancy." I said.
"Thank you. I still find it hard to believe that it happened to Jimmy and I." She said.
"I feel so bad. I haven't talked to Justin in so long." I sighed.
"You both are hurting so much. You need to help each other get threw this." She said.
"It's just really hard." I said.
"I know but you two need each other right now." She said. I sighed and nodded my head.
"So why don't you come downstairs with me and we can hang out with Justin and Jimmy?" She asked. I sighed and nodded.
"Okay." I sighed. She smiled and we walked downstairs. Jimmy and Justin were in the living room watching TV.
"Hey you two." Nancy said as we walked into the room.
"Hey." Jimmy said. Nancy sat next to Jimmy and I sat next to Justin.
"Hey." Justin smiled.
"Hey." I smiled. No matter how I feel, whenever I see him I will always smiled.
"What are you two watching?" Nancy asked them.
"Chuck." Justin answered.
"Are you on the episode where we left off?" I asked.
"Yeah." He nodded. I nodded and we all watched the show together. Justin wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I laid my head on his shoulder.
"C'mon Chuck!" Justin sighed. Chuck just panicked during one of the missions.
"Chuck drives me nuts." Jimmy sighed.
"You two do know it's a TV show right?" I asked.
"Yes but we have become emotionally attached." Justin said.
"Emotionally attached?" I laughed.
"Yes!" Justin laughed. We both laughed and continued watching the show.
After we were done watching Chuck Nancy asked if it was okay if the parents, Stephen,Jonathan and Winnie came over.
"Yeah." Justin and I nodded. Soon they came over.
"Uncle J! Aunt Ava!" Winnie smiled when she saw us. She ran into my arms and we hugged. She then jumped into Justin's arms and hugged him.
"Hey pretty girl." Justin smiled.
"I missed you." Winnie smiled.
"I missed you too." Justin smiled. Justin put Winnie back on the ground. His parents then hugged us.
"Who wants some dinner? I can order some pizza." Jimmy said.
"What about Chinese?" Stephen suggested. We all then decided on Chinese. The delivery man asked to take pictures with Jimmy,Nancy, Justin and I so we did. After that we ate the Chinese. I got Orange Chicken,Fried Rice and a egg roll. While Justin got General Tsos, Fried Rice and a Egg roll. We sat next to eachother at the table as we all ate.
"How's your food?" He asked me.
"Good." I answered.
"How are you doing?" He asked. I sighed and continued to eat. He sighed and nodded. He knew exactly how I felt.
Later that night everyone left and it was just Justin and I. I was upstairs when I decided to go downstairs and see what Justin was doing.
"Justin?" I called.
"I'm in the kitchen." He said. I walked into the kitchen and saw him sitting on the floor. In one of his hands was a bottle of whiskey and in the other was a small glass. I sighed and walked over to him. He stood up off of the ground.
"I'll put it away." He said as he went to put it away.
"Wait." I said. He stopped and looked at me. I walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a small glass.
"You care if I join you?" I asked. He then poured me some and poured himself some. We clinked our glasses and drank our whiskey like there was no tomorrow.

Our Shattered Realms
*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense. Hospital equipment failed, cars stopped in the middle of the street, planes fell from the sky, and homework was lost at the worst possible moment. We found out that it was just the flicker and hum of The System warming up. Now we see the true cost of our new world. A Dark comedy that focuses on a few of the many people who aren't stuck in a high level dungeon when our world is translated and joined to Our Shattered Realms. This is my first story that I have published. I welcome any criticism that you have for me. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!
