*Justin's POV*
Ava and I just arrived in LA. It feels good to be back.
After we dropped our luggage off at my mansion we drove to her mom and Jamie's house. In two days they're getting married.
"Hey!" Ava and I both smiled when her mom opened the door.
"Hey!" She smiled. She hugged us both and then Jamie appeared.
"Hey!" He smiled.
"Hey!" We both smiled. We then hugged him and walked inside the house.
"So mom is there anything I need to do to help with the wedding?" Ava asked her mom.
"No everything is ready." She smiled.
"So Jamie I already got the plane ready to go at anytime if you want to back out of this wedding." I joked.
"Nah I think I won't need the plane." He laughed.
"Don't worry as your best man I will have the plane waiting for you just in case." I laughed.
"Thanks Justin." He laughed.
"So Justin when will we meet your parents? They are coming to the wedding right?" Alexis asked me.
"They actually come into town today and they're staying at my house with Ava and I. So when they come you two can come over to meet everyone." I said.
"Jimmy,Nancy and Winnie will be there with them." Ava smiled.
"Wow we have a full house." I laughed.
"It's going to be crazy." She laughed.
"We would love to come over and meet everyone." Jamie Said.
"Okay but I must warn you, they are a bit crazy." I said.
"Every family is a bit crazy." Jamie laughed.
"True, but then there's mine." I laughed.
"So what are your parents names?" Alexis asked.
"My mom is Lynn and her husband is Paul. My dad is Randall and his wife is Lisa." I said.
"Then there's Nancy, Jimmy and Winnie who are part of his family just not by blood." Ava added.
"Yeah Jimmy is like my brother, Winnie is like my niece, daughter and goddaughter all wrapped into one and Nancy is kind of like my sister but more of a protective mother." I explained.
"She really is like your mother." Ava laughed. I then got a call from Jimmy that everyone is here at my house.
"They all are here. You all want to go see them?" I said. They all said yes and we got in my car and drove to my house.
When we walked in Winnie ran up to us.
"Uncle J! Aunt Ava!" She smiled. We both smiled and hugged her.
"Winnie this is my mom Alexis and her fiance Jamie." Ava said.
"Hi." Winnie smiled.
"Hi." Jamie and Alexis smiled.
"Winnie, where is everyone?" I asked her. Suddenly Jimmy ran down the hall.
"Justin! Ava!" He smiled. I ran up to Jimmy and we hugged. Ava then ran over and hugged him.
I then looked over and saw Nancy running over.
"Nancy!" I cheered. We then hugged Nancy.
"Jimmy,Nancy this is my mom Alexis and Jamie." Ava smiled.
"Hey I'm Jimmy." Jimmy smiled.
"I'm Nancy." Nancy smiled.
"Hi I'm Alexis and this Jamie." Alexis smiled.

"Where's the parents?" I asked Jimmy and Nancy.
"They're around here somewhere." Jimmy said.
"Mom! Dad! Paul! Lisa!" I yelled walking away from everyone so I could go find them.
"They might be downstairs in the basement." Nancy Said.
"Come with me everyone." I sighed. We all walked downstairs. When I reached the end of the stairs someone jumped on my back. Then someone wrapped their arms around my legs and sat in the floor.I looked at who it was, it's Jonathan and Stephen.
"We missed you big bro!" Stephen smiled.
"What are you guy's doing here? I thought only the parents were coming." I said.
"Well the parents said that we could come." Jonathan smiled.
"Where are the parents?" I asked.
"Somewhere around here." Stephen answered.
"Well get off of me so I can I introduce you the bride and groom." I said. They got off of me and I introduced them to Alexis and Jamie.
"Alexis,Jamie these are my brothers Stephen and Jonathan. They're my dad's kids." I said. After they said hello, Stephen walked over to Ava.
"I see you waited for me." Stephen smiled.
"Stephen get away from my girlfriend." I said.
"Girlfriend?" I heard someone asked. I turned around and saw the parents. Crap I forgot to tell them about Ava and I!
"Hey guys." I smiled nervously.
"Justin is there something you would like to tell us?" Mom asked me. I turned to Ava and grabbed her hand and we walked over to the parents.
"Guys I would like you to meet my beautiful girlfriend Ava." I smiled. Instantly they all smiled and hugged us.
"Welcome to the family!" Mom smiled. They then let go of us and I introduced them to Alexis and Jamie.
"Mom,Dad,Lisa,Paul this is Alexis and Jamie." I smiled. They all then said hello and hugged eachother. They all were off in their own conversation. We then heard someone run down the stairs.
"Grace!" Ava smiled.
"Hey!" Grace smiled. They then hugged and she said hey to everyone.
"Mom,Dad,Lisa,Paul, Jonathan,Stephen this is Ava's best friend Grace." I smiled.
"Hi." Grace smiled.
"Hi." They all smiled. Stephen then walked close to Grace.
"Hello I'm Stephen, Justin's brother." Stephen grinned.
"Stephen stop hitting in my friends." I sighed.
"Hello I'm taken." Grace laughed.
"You are? By who?" Ava asked her.
"Mister Harry Styles." Grace smiled.
"Nice Grace." I smiled.
"I'm so happy for you!" Ava smiled.
"Alright let's go eat guys." I said. We all walked upstairs and left the house and went to a restaurant.
When we walked into the restaurant we all were laughing and talking to eachother. I had my arm around Ava's waist and her arm was around mine.
"You two are just so cute." Grace smiled. I smiled at Ava and gave her a kiss.
"Thanks Grace we try our best to be so cute." I laughed. She then smiled and walked away. We were still waiting for our table to be ready.
"I love you." I smiled.
"I love you more." She smiled. I then pulled her close to me and we both leaned in and kissed.

"That was some kiss." I smiled.
"Well I do learn from the best." She smiled. I smiled and kissed her again.
"Justin." I heard someone say. I pulled away and saw that Jimmy was the one who called my name.
"Yeah?" I asked him. He then came over and whispered something in my ear.
"Jess is here." He whispered. I gasped and looked around and saw her. She was sitting alone at a table drinking a glass of wine.
"Does anyone else know?" I whispered. He shook his head no and I nodded.
"What's wrong?" Ava asked me.
"Nothing." I smiled.
"You're lying.".She frowned.
"Jess is here." I sighed. She gasped and looked around and saw her.
"Maybe we should leave." She said.
"No it'll be alright." I said.
"Justin she's your ex wife." She sighed.
"So? I only have eyes for you." I smiled.
"Well who wouldn't have eyes for me." She joked.
"You make a good point." I laughed. I kissed her softly on the lips and hugged her.
"I love you more than anything." She smiled.
"Well who wouldn't love me." I joked.
"You make a good point." She laughed.
Our table then was ready. We all began to walk to our table but I realized we would have to pass Jess's table.
I wrapped arm around Ava's waist and kissed her cheek as we walked pass Jess's table. I quickly glanced back at her table and she saw us. She looked so shocked.
We then sat at our table and I sat next to Ava.
"So Justin how's tour?" Dad asked me.
"It's going good. It's nice to have someone with me now." I smiled at Ava. She smiled back at me.
"So where are you guys going for your honeymoon?" I asked Alexis and Jamie.
"Bahamas." Alexis smiled.
"The honeymoon is the best part." Jimmy grinned. Everyone laughed and Nancy playfully smacked Jimmy on the chest.
"Amen to that." Dad laughed.
"Ew, Dad!" Jonathan,Stephen and I said in disgust. Everyone laughed at us.
"Dad next time you say something like that please make sure your sons are not around." I sighed. Stephen and Jonathan both nodded in agreement.
"Alright boys. I'm sorry." Dad laughed.
"What's a honeymoon?" Winnie asked. She was sitting next to me.
"Nothing." Jimmy and I both said quickly. Everyone then laughed again.
"You're going to have to tell her someday." Grace said.
"But not today." Jimmy said.
"You all should hear what they're plan is when a boy breaks Winnie's heart." Ava laughed.
"Tell them." Nancy laughed.
"Well we'll kidnap the idiot, take him back to Memphis and kill him there." I smiled.
"You do know you can't kill someone right?" Mom laughed.
"Well if he breaks my little girls heart then we have a right to kill him!" Jimmy said. I nodded and Jimmy and I high fived.
"I'm really scared for Winnie's future boyfriend." Alexis laughed.
"Boy's are gross!" Winnie said.
"You're right Winnie." I said to her.
"I'm always right." Winnie smiled.
"Oh God." Jimmy sighed.
"She's just like her mom." Nancy smiled. Nancy then looked at Jimmy.
"Right Jimmy?" She asked.
"Yes, but she got my charm and sense of humor." Jimmy smiled.
"But she got my good looks." Nancy smiled.
"Psh she got her good looks from me not you." Jimmy said.
"Jimmy, Nancy just face it. She didn't get her good looks from any of you. She got them from her Uncle J." I smiled.
"Justin you aren't even related to her." Nancy Said.
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not." I said. Everyone laughed.
The rest of the dinner went really good. After we all paid we all left the restaurant.
Ava and I were last in the line of our family.
"Justin,Ava." We heard someone say. We turned around and saw Jess.
"Hi." She said.
"Hi." We both said. Ava stayed close to me. My arm was wrapped around her waist.
"How are you two?" She asked us.
"Great." I answered.
"I'm happy for you both." She smiled.
"Thank you." Ava said.
"Don't lose him like I did. Treat him right." Jess said to Ava.
"I will." Ava nodded.
"Well I better get going. It was nice to see you both." Jess said. She then walked away leaving us alone.
"Are you okay?" Ava asked me.
"Yeah." I answered.
"I love you." She said as she hugged me. I then felt a rain drop fall on my forehead. Then it suddenly started pouring down rain.
"It's raining!" Jimmy cheered as he ran around with Winnie in his arms.
"Ugh my hair!" Ava sighed.
"You're hair looks fine." I said.
"No it doesn't Justin." She sighed.
"Ava you always look beautiful." I smiled. She smiled and kissed me.
We looked around and everyone was running around on the rain.
"How did we get such a crazy family?" I asked her.
"I have no idea." She laughed. I then picked her up and put her over my shoulder. I ran over to everyone and we all ran threw the rain. I then put her down. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I love you so much." She smiled.
"I love you more than anything in this world." I smiled. We then leaned in and kissed. As we kissed I lifted her up off the ground.
"Get a room!" I heard Stephen yell at us. I pulled away and put her back on the ground and glared at him.
"Should I run?" Stephen asked me. I slowly nodded my head. He then started to run away from me but I chased him.
"Dad!" He yelled.
"You're on your own this time!" Dad laughed. I then caught up with him and grabbed him. I then put him over my shoulder and walked back to everyone.
"Let's go home!" I said. We all then piled into our cars and drove back to my house.

At this point, my wish for something more unique has pretty much gone down the drain. Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
