《Fairy Tail's Little Fairy Book 1 (Rewriting)》11) Phantom

3rd POV
It was a sunny afternoon in the city of Magnolia, and team Natsu has just returned back from their request job. But they quickly discover the odd and sadden look of the citisense. And they quickly found out why. The Fairy Tail's guild hall is in ruins. It has been stabbed with multiple giant metal poles. Apparently it all happened during the night, and luckily no one was hurt, but sadly someone witnessed it happen. A certain girl saw it with her very own eyes, but she didn't see if it was a person or what he or she looked like. She only saw the poles rain from the sky and destroy the building. The members of Fairy Tail are using the basement storage as their guild hall, until the rebuilding.
''Yo. Welcome back.'' Greet Makarov without a care and drink a glass of beer, clearly a bit drunk.
''Gramps. How can you be so carefree?'' Ask Natsu mad at the drunken master.
''How was it, Lucy? The job go well?'' Ask Makarov, completely ignoring Natsu.
''Master, don't you understand the situation we are in?'' Ask Erza, not letting Lucy talk.
''The guild has been demolished.'' Remind Natsu of the building's condition.
''Now, now... Calm down. It is hardly worth fusing over.'' Says Makarov calm.
''Wh-What?'' Muttered Natsu shocked of Makarov's answer.
''Phantom, huh? Is that the best those fools can do'' Mumble Makarov and finish his beer. ''I dunno what they are so happy about, attacking an empty guild like that.''
''Nobody was here?'' Ask Erza.
''They apparently attacked at night.'' Answer Mirajane sadden, but then look down to the ground. ''Only one member was walking back home, at that time. She is currently staying home, right now. She got so scared of what she saw, so her spirit is trying to calm her down.''
''(Y/N) saw it happen?'' Ask Lucy, figuring out who Mirajane is talking about. Mirajane only nodded. Erza sighed in relief of the news.
''Then no one was hurt? I guess that is one thing to be thankful for. I hope (Y/N) is alright and coming back as her usual self.'' Says Erza.
''I am grateful that you guys are worry about me, but I am fine.'' Call out a voice from the stairs. Everybody in the room turns their attention to the stairs and see little (Y/N) smiling. Mirajane immediately walks over to her and hug her tight.
(Y/N) POV
Mirajane is hugging me for comfort, but I am fine. God visited me, by using her own powers to get out of her gate. Later on got the others out of their gates and comforted me too. I never got this scared before. Seeing someone using magic and destroying the place I call home in front of my very own eyes, hurts really bad. And to think that I couldn't do anything to stop it. I was frozen in place. I couldn't make my body move.
''(Y/N), did you manage to see who did this?'' Ask Gray, staying calm, but I can see the anger in his eyes. I shock my head and look down. My bangs slightly cover my eyes and I didn't put it up in the usual two high pigtails, like I normally do with it, but it is braided all the way down to my feet. My flower crown is still on, but there are some flowers on my braid.

''Anyway. (Y/N), you will stay with me and Elfman, just until this is under control.'' Inform Mirajane and takes my hand. She guide me outside with Elfman following right behind.
''I am sorry I could see, who did this. I feel useless for not defending the guild.'' I mumble out loud, as tears are slowly coming out. Mirajane shook her head and smile kindly at me.
''As long you are alright, then we don't care, who did it.'' Says Mirajane and dry some tears away. The tears stops and I manage to smile a little, but I still feel a bit guilty.
''You are right.'' I mumble back with a sniff.
*Time skip*
''Are you sure that you will stay with Lucy and watch over Shadow Gear?'' Ask Erza towards me. I just nodded with a firm look.
''Hai. I can use my powers to heal them a little, but I also know that my powers aren't stable enough to fight Phantom, so I would rather be medical support than be in the way.'' I answer the knight. Erza nodded and patted my head, before she headed out. I take one of my keys, to call for guidance. ''I open there the health gate, Poison.''
A guy in a military uniform came out of the smoke, slightly nodded to me.
''You called.'' Says Poison, with a clear monotone. He may sound and look like he doesn't care, but he is loyal to me. All my spirits are.
''I wanna heal my friends, but I just wanna be sure I do it right.'' I explain to him and point at the three injured members on the bed. Poison look at the three and then nodded.
''What is their condition?'' Ask Poison towards Lucy, who is sitting by Levi's bed.
''They are sleeping.'' Answer Lucy, looking down. Poison just nodded and mention for me to stand beside Droy. I could easily guess what Poison wanted me to do, so I held my hands over Droy's bandaged head. A dark green color glow covers both my hands.
''You are doing it right. Keep it up.'' I hear Poison say behind me. When I feel my power slowly come to a stop, can I feel my energy is drained, but I still move on to do it to Jet and Levy.
''You really have control of your power.'' Says Lucy impressed.
''I guess you have heard my story, about how I got to Fairy Tale.'' I say back with a small smile. Lucy nodded, confirming what I just said. I don't have a problem with what Mirajane says to others, but sometimes I don't wanna remember my real brother abandoned me. ''Then you know that I had my spirit and my family to train me, right?''
''The entire guild seems to do everything for you.'' Joked Lucy with a wink. ''You have them all in your finger tip.''
''Well, my title isn't just for show.'' I joke back, which manages to get a small laugh from her. But the moment got a bit ruin, when Lucy stood up and walk over to the door.

''I'm gonna buy some stuff for the others. I come back later.'' Inform Lucy and open the door.
''Be careful.'' I call out to her and sit on her seat. Lucy walks out and closes the door carefully, so she won't wake up the others.
''Your heart is beating very high. What is wrong, princess?'' Ask Poison. I turn my head to look outside the window.
''I am just wondering, who my real brother is and wanna know more about, why he couldn't take care of me.'' I wanted to cry, but I strongly kept them in. I am a big girl and if I cry, I would drown the whole hospital. Poison looks at me like he is hiding something or guilt is taking over. He might be nervous. ''Do you know something that I don't know?'' Poison sighed and kneel next to me, which confuses me. He takes Silver's key form my key ring and makes him come out.
''What is it, Poison?'' Ask Silver politely. Poison nodded his head towards me, and Silver quickly understood what is happening. ''So it is really the time to have that talk.''
''I am still too young to hear about the bee and the flower story.'' I say and quickly start panicking. I don't wanna get my mind screwed around with. The two spirits chuckled at that and shook their heads.
''Don't worry, princess. We just wanna talk about your brother. We know where he is, but we can't tell you everything.'' Start Poison calmly.
''But we can tell you about, where he is and what happen to your parents.'' Finish Silver a bit serious.
''Please tell me.'' I quickly order them. I wanna know the truth, even if it is heartbreaking. Silver nodded and snapped his finger. The hospital room changed to a flower garden and behind me is there a lovely white house.
''Mama, papa. Can I hold her now?'' Outside the house is there a shoulder long haired blond boy, running towards a couple, sitting on a porch bench. The mother has long blond hair and (E/C) eyes, while the father has (H/C) hair and green eyes. The mother is holding a sleeping baby, who is wrapped around a blanket. The boy looks like he is 6 years old and he is wearing a red pirate-like jacket.
''Alright, but be careful, she can move around a lot.'' Warn the mother and carefully give the boy, the baby. The baby opens her eyes and they are a beautiful shade of (E/C). Eyes like her mother and hair like her father.
''So that is me.'' I muttered surprised. The little me looked at the boy and then make baby noises in happiness.
''She likes you. She might be thinking you are a poetry writer or someone, who will tell her stories.'' Says the father with a chuckle and looks at his two kids.
''Maybe I am gonna read her stories, and even be a writer so I can make all the stories she could ever wish for.'' Says the boy in excitement and sets his goal in life. The parents chuckle at their son's behavior. The scene then changes to night and the house is on fire. I quickly take some steps back out of shock. I hear the baby scream in fright and see the boy run out of the house with some burnt and ripped night clothes. He held baby me in a blanket, close to his chest. The boy looks at the house and tears streaming down. As it couldn't get worse, the house and now it is a big pile of burning wood.
''So it is true. My parents died in a fire accident. And being a baby, couldn't I do anything to stop it and it would be hard to take care of me.'' I mumble out loud, not even looking at my spirits. Silver and Poison nodded and give me a hug. I couldn't stop looking at the boy. My brother. The little baby me started crying, hard. My brother quickly shushed me and sang a little lullaby. When baby me stopped crying, my brother turned around and walk away from the fire. There was a tree house not far from the house and inside was there a cloak and a basket. He placed baby me in the basket, covering me so I would sleep comfortably.
''I won't let you get hurt or have a hard life. I can't protect you or take care of you, but I can look over you even if I am gone and far away.'' Whisper my brother, carrishing baby me's cheeks. My brother pulls out my keys from his pants pockets. ''I know these will protect you, so don't be afraid. I know the perfect place for you to grow.'' The scene changes again and this time we are in front of the guild. My brother has his cape on and it is covering most of his face, but I can still see it clearly. He placed the basket in front of the door and looked at baby me for the last time. ''I am sorry (Y/N), but this is goodbye for now. We will see each other again one day in the future, but until then, take care and be a good girl.'' My brother kissed my forehead and shook my basket a little so I would wake up and cry. I can see the hurt in his eyes as he runs away and hides behind the guilds wall. Grandpa Makarov walks out and sees the basket and takes it inside. My brother looks through the window and see how the guild is taking care of me and how easy they took me in. My brother smiled and started walking away. I felt some tears fall down and I wave at the running silhouette of my big brother.
''I hope we will see each other again, like you said.''

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
