《Songbird (PeterPan//OUAT)》More than memories

I gasped as I woke up, my head throbbing. Groaning in pain, I sat up and looked around. It was dark now, the only source of light coming from the kitchen. Standing up, I wobbly made my way towards the light source. Rounding the corner, I caught sight of Peter, sitting at the table with nothing but his thoughts. I walked up behind him and placed my arms over his shoulders. "How are you?" I asked as I laid my chin on his shoulder. "Should'nt I be the one asking you that?" He questioned as a small smile formed at his mouth. I turned to him completely as he stared me down. "Do you remember?" I nodded and looked down. "A lot more than I should." I said. And it was true. I remember things that never even happened to me. Well, they did, but not in this life. Or is it other life since I basically died? Nope, this life. I wasn't really dead. Was I? I groaned and rubbed my temples. "What's the matter, love?" Peter questioned as he stood and turned to me. I blew air out of my mouth and placed my forehead on his chest. "I remember." I said. He chuckled, "I know." I shook my head and looked up at him, "No, I remember. Things that never happened to me. Memories where i'm called a different name. There's this one memory where I'm sitting on a swing with a man I never met pushing me and telling me how much he misses my mother. I've never had a mother. Not only that, my hair is brown, that girl's hair was blonde." I ranted. He looked at me quizzically. His eyebrows furrowed, green eyes focused on my face, his mouth slightly open, his beautiful pink lips taunting me. I shook my head hastily, "Stop making that face! Its distracting." He tilted his head to the side, the same expression on his beautiful face. I threw my head back in frustration and groaned. In a flash, my back was on the table and Peter was hovering over me. He ran his nose along my jawline and lightly kissed my neck. "Don't make that noise." He whispered roughly. I rolled my eyes and pushed him off of my smaller-than-average form. "I think we should see Regina." He nodded.

Regina sighed as she checked my mind. "Gold did something. The potion wasn't supposed to work the way it did." I rolled my eyes and made a weird strangled dinosaur noise. Peter growled as well as a human could, "I knew it." He stood up, ready to put the con man in a coffin but I grabbed his arm. "He must have a reason. For now, I would like to see Henry." Regina smiled wide, "He's missed you singing to him and he's been talking about this secret hideout?" I shrunk into myself and laughed sheepishly. "If it makes you feel any better, its not a secret hideout anymore." She laughed and hugged me before calling down for Henry. "By the way, Peter, you're coming with us." He tried to protest but Henry was already walking out of the front door. Laughing, I walked out the door as well with Peter attempting to pull back.
"Relax Peter. It's just like the island. Except there is no magic, only animals." I said as I led my two favorite boys to the large stump. The older boy sighed and sat down on the stump with Henry. I cheered and walked to the nearest tree, knocking it lightly, the little blue bird hopped out. He tweeted loudly which led the other animals to come out of their respective homes. "Hello my little beauties. I apologize for the absence." I whispered to them all. They tweeted and chirped back with glowing eyes.
When your legs don't work like they used to before
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?
I laughed as the two rabbits seemed to cuddle up with each other.
And, darling, I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
I walked around the little clearing pet the once small fawn.
Maybe just the touch of a hand

Well, me - I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am
I walked over to the stump and grabbed Henry's hands. He laughed and got up as we danced around the stump.
So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are
Peter stepped up then, he nodded to Henry and politely, yet silently, asked for my hand. I smiled, continued the singing, and grabbed onto his hand.
When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades
And the crowds don't remember my name
When my hands don't play the strings the same way (mmm...)
I know you will still love me the same
He placed his forehead on mine as we swayed to the words coming out of my mouth.
'Cause honey your soul could never grow old, it's evergreen
And, baby, your smile's forever in my mind and memory
I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
I smiled wide when he placed a kiss on my cheek and Henry shoved him away. Henry grabbed my hands and began swaying with me as he glared at a chuckling Peter.
Maybe it's all part of a plan
Well, I'll just keep on making the same mistakes
Hoping that you'll understand
That, baby, now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
Thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are (oh ohh)
La la la la la la la la lo-ud
I grabbed Peter's wrist and we all swayed with the music emitting from my mouth with smiles on our faces.
So, baby, now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Oh, darling, place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are
Oh, baby, we found love right where we are
And we found love right where we are
I laughed as Peter and Henry playfully bickered about who I loved more. A twig snapped to my left and I immediately got in defense as I placed Henry behind my back. Peter created a fireball and I allowed vines to wrap themselves around my arms. The bushed rustled as Snow, Charming, Regina, Emma, Hook, and Neal emerged from them with their arms up. "Sorry, sorry. We just heard you singing and then Regina started smirking about this secret hideout of yours, and here we are." Snow said quickly. I shook my head and chuckled as Peter and I put our magic away. "At least we know Henry's safe with them both." Charming stated. I laughed and Henry pushed Peter and I away from each other. "Do you know how in love they are? I'm all for happy ending but their love is so sweet its sickening." I pouted and Peter laughed as he kissed the side of my head. "They'll make a good family." Emma said with a smile. The smile fell from my face, as did Peter's. Regina noticed this and questioned us on it. "Um, when I was younger, my foster father had injured me badly. He stuck his sword through my front and ended up tearing my uterus. I'm incapable of having children." I said as a tear fell from my eye. Peter kissed it away sadly and Ismiled, trying to lighten the mood. "It's fine though, there's always adoption, or a surrogate mother. There is a solution." The group now had sullen faces. "Anyway, have any of you seen Rumple? I have some business with him?" My lover asked. I laughed at the random change of subject and kissed his upper arm. He certainly is something else.
Stay sharp my rabbits!
