I sighed as I walked out of the loft Haven owned. The weather was cold & bitter, much like my attitude. Her green, wool scarf was wrapped around my neck and half of my face. Regina had looked at me weirdly when she saw me wearing it but didn't question it. It's green and smells like my little bird, its a win-win. Regina made sure I was dressed to her standards. She bought me a black suit with a green rag-thing in the breast pocket. I refused to discard the sweet smelling piece of fabric. She closed her eyes and nodded, a tear falling slowly down her cheek. "I understand you miss her, we all do. I also understand the pain you are going through by losing your other half, but by being surrounded by her things isn't going to help make all this better." I looked down, tears glazing my eyes but I willed them not to fall. Looking back up, I kept my gaze unwavering, "And pushing our feelings aside will be doing the same amount of harm as what I am. However, over time, when I start to heal, you all will be breaking apart more and more." Regina looked away and hugged herself. "I understand that she was similar to a daughter to you. But she was the only one that helped get rid of the darkness in my life. Now that she is gone from this world, i'll gladly hold on to a piece of fabric." Regina frowned as more and more tears slipped out from her eyes. She sobbed silently for a few minutes as I held back my own droplets of bodily salt-water. Her sobs died down and she chuckled forcefully, "Mind getting me one?" I smiled as my tears fell silently. Nodding, I replied, "Sure, i'll get you one." She smiled and nodded, hugging herself tightly once more.

So that's how we ended up dressed in black, standing in the church as the priest blessed the coffin, with Scarves of Haven's wrapped around our necks. Regina made sure everything was perfect. The flowers were her favorites, Forget-me-not's and White roses. The coffin itself was white and as we stepped up to say our goodbye's, I noticed she was dressed in a green dress with gold stitching at the top. Tears filled my eyes as I lightly touched her hair, which was now a dull brown. Her face was pale and her eyelids shielded the unseeing green eyes. Regina was by my side the entire time, that is, until she finally broke down at the sight of her dead daughter, her knees buckled as she sobbed loudly and I immediately went to help her. Tears of my own were pouring down my face and I held Regina as we both cried. Henry came up then, and with tears of his own, he hugged his mother comfortingly, trying to help her understand that this was real and her daughter wasn't coming back. I sobbed silently as I looked away from the coffin, not able to look at her any longer. I rocked Regina and I back and forth as we cried. I stood up then, carrying Regina with me. She looked at her daughter and a fresh wave of tears came, she lightly kissed her forehead and walked away, leaving only Henry and I. Henry looked up at me with tearful eyes as he kissed his sister's cheek and stepped aside, letting me say my goodbye's. I kissed her one last time as a tear slid off my face and onto hers. "I'm sorry," I whispered, "I broke my promise, I wasn't able to protect you this time. I failed you." I looked away from her and wrapped an arm around Henry's shoulders, leading us away from our fallen loved one. What I didn't know was, that the one tear of mine held a small amount of magic, and as it seeped into her skin, her lip began to change color. They went from that pale white to her original plump, pink. Her hair slowly regained life as it restored to its natural shine. Her chest began to rise and fall, slowly at first. Finally, her eye's opened and her once unseeing green eyes were now alert. She gasped loudly as she sat up, causing everyone's eyes to dart over to her. I turned around and scrambled up to her along with Regina. "Haven." I breathed as I finally had my arms around her. I could hear her sobbing as she wrapped her arms around me. "Peter, what's going on?" she cried as she his her face in my chest. I pulled away slightly to look at her. "What do you mean, little bird?" I asked as her eyes looked around at the people behind us. "Who are all these people? Why am I in a box? Why is there a child next to you? Why is the Dark Queen weeping over me? Why is everyone crying?" she questioned rapidly as tears spilled over once more. I looked to her in shock then to Regina, "Get Rumple, now."

Rumple sighed as he eyed the confused girl in my arms. "She has no memory of the people here yet she remembered me." I said as I looked at my son. He sighed and lightly grabbed her arm to which she jerked back. "Please, don't touch me." I grabbed her shoulders gently, "What is the last thing you remember?" Her hair flew in her face as the door opened and a man walked in. His eyes were cold and unforgiving and I felt Haven tremble in my hold. His eyes darted to her and he immediately smirked. "Haven. Let's go, girl. I'm taking you home." My eyes narrowed as I analyzed the man. "You're her foster father. The one that abused her." It wasn't a question, but a statement. His eyes hardened as he eyes her once more, "You told?!" he roared as he stalked towards her. She cried out in pain when he reached behind me and pulled her away roughly. My eyes blazed as I brought my hand up, a fireball ready in it. Rumple grabbed my wrist. Forcing me to extinguish the fire. "Sir, I'm sorry to inform you but she is not your daughter, she is a ward of the state."
The man's eyes blazed as he tossed her roughly to the floor. "I'll be back for her." With that said, he walked out. I ran over to Haven and cradled her in my arms as she sobbed. Her lip was bleeding from when she hit the floor and her arm was bruised from how roughly he grabbed her.
"I'll get started on a potion." Rumple said thickly as I cradled her in my arms. I nodded and watched as he began to get the ingredients for a memory potion.
