"Yoongi! Guess...". I barged in the room and immediately dropped to my knees. Yoongi wasn't in the bed. "Yoo...". I covered my mouth feeling sick. "Yoongi?". I called out shaking. "He's... He's probably in the bathroom". I shakily opened the bathroom door, but it was empty. "N-no...". The tears came down on their own. "No!!!".
I was running around in the hospital looking for him and asking around, but nothing. "H-he...". I started shaking and held myself. "H-he... He was fine... Everything was fine". I was sobbing in the hall by myself... Then remembered what Moonbyul said. "Sh... She took him". I pulled my hair. "SHE TOOK HIM!". I felt like puking.
"NOOOO!!!". I screamed. "Bride! What's wrong!?!".
"Jo-Jo-Joon". I couldn't stop shaking and it was very hard to breath. "Bride breath". Namjoon told me but I couldn't. "Go-go-gone". I managed to say. "Gone?". Namjoon repeats. "Yoo... Yoon... She...". I grabbed his shirt. "Moonbyul... To-took him". I said. "What?". Namjoon says. "N-no... That's impossible". Namjoon shakes his head.
"This place was crawling with men!". Namjoon yells and takes out his phone. "Yo?". I heard Hoseok's voice. "The boss is gone". Namjoon said. "THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!". Namjoon moves the phone away from his ear. "Bride said Raven might have took him". Namjoon says and rubs my back.
"But... She's de... Aw shit". Hoseok sighs. "How's the bride?". Hoseok asked. "How do you think he is?". Namjoon asked. "I'm bringing Jin with me". Namjoon hangs up and helps me sit down. "We will find him ok?". Namjoon says but I was out of it. My mind was blank but I was still crying. "Please stop crying". Namjoon wipes my tears.
"Is everything ok?". A nurse asked. "Actually... We are looking for someone". Namjoon said. "Is there a way I can help?". The nurse asks. "If you're looking for a patient on this floor then I'm sorry". The nurse says. "We lost five patients last night". The nurse said. "What?". I looked up. "Was a patient... A Min?". Namjoon asked.

"Yes". The nurse looks down. "N-no". I shook my head. "I'm sorry". The nurse says. "Would you like to confirm the body?". The nurse asked. "Yes and we will be taking it". Namjoon says. "Right this way". The nurse says. "Stay here". Namjoon whispers and walks away with the nurse. "Don't...". I covered my face.
"Don't leave me Yoongi".

Our Shattered Realms
*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense. Hospital equipment failed, cars stopped in the middle of the street, planes fell from the sky, and homework was lost at the worst possible moment. We found out that it was just the flicker and hum of The System warming up. Now we see the true cost of our new world. A Dark comedy that focuses on a few of the many people who aren't stuck in a high level dungeon when our world is translated and joined to Our Shattered Realms. This is my first story that I have published. I welcome any criticism that you have for me. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!

Draugr Cell //Layer 01-- Investiture:
With the end of the only war to ever reach mainland Australia I found myself living out of a small room in an old military compound that had been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The end of the war, unfortunately, didn't mean the end of hostilities. The terrorism trend that had started back in the early 2000's with the attack on the world trade center over in America, had spread to just about every country on the face of the planet. Over time the constant threat from various groups meant the civilian police force was quickly undermanned, under equipped, and overwhelmed. They were simply unable to respond to the daily threats in any reasonable time frame, and in many situations lacked the both the skills and equipment required to deal with the threats to put them down in a 'safe' and expedient manner. Veterans of the war that were being reintegrated into society however, were just about everywhere, all the time. We have the training and the skills required to deal with just about any threat you care to mention, all we needed was access to the equipment to do so. In a world first, under the new Veterans program, the Australian government had taken the rather controversial step of allowing specifically selected veterans to go armed in public. Sure, with Australian weapons laws being very, very strict there were a number of hurdles to get over first, but that's where the selection part comes in. Tangentially that's actually how I met Brianna, my current partner. We work as ringers in Victory City, I thought being thrown into imptomtu combat operations and risking my life on a daily basis for barely livable wages was excitement enough. Then I met her... it... I don't know. An AI unlike anything else out there has wedged itself into my life and decided it needs to... look after me. What could possibly go wrong? **** This is the first book I have released, and my first entry into a cyberpunk universe. There is minimal drug use, a fair amount of sex, a bit of gory violence, and a sultry AI that has decided the main character needs a harem.
