Savannah's pov:
Its been one month since Damien got shoot and one month since he stayed at home to rest. Every afternoon after a day at work, I would go to his mansion to see him. He always whined about how he wants to get out of bed and go to work. He got bored staying at home.
Zach and Crawford let him work on his laptop so that he stopped annoying them to let him go to the office. Some days, I got so caught up by my work that I didn't have time to go and see him. He deliberately wouldn't eat or drink his medicines so that I go there.
Whenever I went to his mansion late, he would make me stay with him for the night. He was such a baby when he was sick. He already got the thread removed from his stitches. He can walk without feeling any pain to his side or in his stomach.
Mr Walter called me yesterday to inform me that they were almost done with the orphanage. They just have to put the roof today and the orphanage will be ready to be used.
I called Prescott and Garett to inform them that they can start painting the ground floor and do their drawings on the walls. They called me, a few minutes ago, and told me that they already reach the site.
I heard the door of the office opened and I looked up.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as he walked in smiling.
"I came to see you." He said in a duh tone. He should be in bed.
He walked to my side and leaned to peck my lips, his arms around my waist.
"He force us to let him out."

I turned to the door and saw Crawford and Zach.
"I'm bored at home." Damien defended himself.
"Anyway what are you up to?" Crawford asked looking at me.
"Well, I was going to see the orphanage site. Mr Watson almost finishes it." I explained and they nodded.
"Well let's all go." Damien shrugged.
"We need to wait for Elija-"
"I'm here!" He walked in and handshake them.
I stood up and grabbed my bag. We all made our way out of the office.
-----
Damien intertwined our fingers as we walked to the site. The workers were still working in the front and they turned to look at us.
"SAVY."
I didn't have to turn to know who it was. I felt a pair of the arm wrapped around my shoulder, almost making me fall down from their pressure.
"Easy there," I warned him.
I turned around and saw him smirking at me.
"Why are you so grumpy." He asked amused.
"I'm not." I frowned.
"Garett."
Garett turned to my side and looked at Zach. He smiled at him before making his way toward him. He surprised us all by throwing his arm around his neck, pulling him down for a quick kiss.
"Here they go again," Elijah groaned.
I heard a gasped and I looked at Damien and Crawford. They were both looking at Zach, mouth dropped on the floor. I put my hand under Damien's chin and pulled it up.
"You will catch flies," I mumbled and he looked down at me.
"You knew about this?" He asked and I nodded.
"Wait- how? When?" Crawford asked confused.
Zach pulled away from Garett but wrapped his around Garett's waist, pulling him to his side.
"Guys, meet my boyfriend Garett." Zach smiled.

"I can see that, but how did this happen? I mean you always show interest in girls at the club." Crawford said and Zach shrugged.
"I had to pretend. I didn't want you two to feel different about me. I don't want anything to change between us." Zach admitted.
"Why would it change anything? You could have talked to us about it." Damien said and Zach started to rub his neck.
"I don't know. I just think it will." He said and Crawford shakes his head no. He walked to him and wrapped his arm around his neck.
"Did it change anything now?" Crawford asked looking down at him.
"No," he replied.
"Exactly, you are still our best friend," Damien stated beside me and Zach smiled.
"Now how about we start to paint the house?" Prescott asked, joining the conversation.
"What do you mean by 'we'?" Elijah asked, furrowing his eyebrow.
"All of us. Beside Damien, I know you're still injured." Prescott said and Damien chuckled.
"No worry, I'm good."
We all walked in and it was really big. Mr Watson was able to put two separate rooms which were the living room and Mrs Janet's office.
"Well, it looks great. However, we still need to find a way to get some fund in the orphanage." Elijah stated.
"And I think I have a way for this," Damien said looking.
"What do you have in mind?" I asked. He didn't tell me anything about it.
"Well, I was thinking that maybe we could do a fancy fair. All the money collected will be given to the orphanage." He shrugged.
"That a good idea. And we can start on Friday and end it on Sunday." Prescott added.
He was right. People usually go out on these days and even the children can enjoy since there wouldn't be school.
"I can start organising it," Elijah said.
"I'll help you," Zach added.
After this, we all went back home. Damien dragged me with him and I ended up being with him in his room. He made me laid on my back as he pepper kisses on my neck and went down on my breast.
"Easy, you are still weak," I warned him and he scoffed.
"I'm not weak." He stated. He grabbed the side of my blouse and tear it opened. I gasped as I watched the buttons coming off.
"Damien!" I said and he smirked.
"I'll show you how weak I am." He stated before crashing his lips on mine.

Journeys in the Fairworld: The Gatekeeper
Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments!
