Savannah's pov:
I woke up this morning early. My head hurts and I feel really tired. I forced myself out of bed and walked to my bathroom. I almost screamed when I looked at myself in the mirror.
I looked like a walking zombie. My hair was a mess, my makeup was ruined and I was still wearing my dress from last night. I sighed and went to take a shower.
I need to leave for the office in 40 minutes. I showered quickly and removed all the makeup on my face. Once done, I stepped out and dried myself. I wrapped the towel around my chest and went to my closet.
It's been two years now that Elijah and I joined dad in his office. We started to work when we finished school and we were now 20 years old. My little sister, Paigne was still 17 years old and was still studying at school.
Our friends also started their own career at an early age. Lydia recently joined her mother and became a fashion designer. She really likes to draw and create new wedding gowns. Her brother, Trey was the owner of a new restaurant that recently opened.
Bryan was now a model. He does many advertisements and poses for many photoshoots. His little brother, Cade was still at school and the good part was that he shared the same school as Paigne.
The twins Prescott and Garett opened a small business. They decor houses, events, and others. They both really like to organize things... Even there rooms were more organised than mine.
We don't really meet up since we are all busy with our jobs and sometimes we have to travel to different country. That's why we usually meet up on a specific day and go out to have some fun. Yesterday was one of them.

I did a light make up and put my heels on. I grabbed my bag and walked out of my room. I knocked on Elijah's door and waited for 2 minutes before he opens up.
"What?" He asked grumpily. He was still in his pj's and his hair was messy.
"We need to leave for the office." I reminded him and he sighed.
"I'll get ready, give me 5 minutes." He mumbled and closed the door on my face. I sighed and walked downstairs.
"Morning." I greeted everyone. Mom was making breakfast while dad was reading his newspaper in his usual seat.
"Morning, did you have fun yesterday?" Mom asked smiling and I nodded.
"We did and I'm still tired," I said while taking a seat near dad.
"You can take a day off if you want," Dad suggested, looking up from his newspapers.
"No, I have a lot of work to complete," I said and he sighed.
"You do remember that it is your own office right? You can stay at home and work if you want." Dad pointed out and I nodded.
"I know but I want to go to the office," I said and he chuckled.
"Morning."
Elijah walked in, ready to go. He was quick. I knew he showered since his hair was still wet.
"Morning." Mom and dad replied.
We grabbed our breakfast and started to eat.
----
We were now in the office. Everyone greeted us as we make our way to our office. Dad, Elijah and I had a floor only for ourselves. No one could come on this floor without an appointment. Elijah and I both a separate office.
I walked into my office and sighed when I saw the mess in the room. I dropped my bag on the couch and started to clean up. I arranged all my files and took out the important one. I then sat down on my leather chair and checked my emails on my laptop.

I replied to almost everyone before taking my diary. I checked what meetings I have today and at what time they start. I then proceed to prepare the files that I needed.
-----
It was already 3 pm and my head hurts more than in the morning. I had only two meetings today and it was very tiring. I had 2 coffees and it didn't help me like it usually does.
I crossed my arms, put it on the table and laid my head on them. I closed my eyes and rest for a few minutes.
"Hey I need- are you okay?" Elijah walked in with his files. I sat straight and nodded at him.
"What did you need?" I asked and he frowned. He closed the door behind him and walked closer to me.
"You're not okay. Your eyes are red, you should go home and rest." He said looking at me. He put his files on the table and walked to my side. He put his hand on my forehead and my cheeks.
"You don't have fever." He said and I sighed.
"I'll go home. Are you done yet?" I asked him and he nodded.
"I just have to print some papers and I'll be done." He explained.
"Well I'll wait for you," I said and he nodded.
"I'll make it quick." He promised and walked out of my office.
-----
We were now at home. I changed in a more comfortable outfit which was just sweatpants and a white shirt. I walked into the living room and Elijah was on the couch, looking at the 'Big Bang Theory' episode. I grabbed a pillow and walked to him. I put the pillow on his laps and laid on the couch.
"Seriously Sav, you have all that space over there." He pointed out to the other couches and I ignored him.
"Can you massage my temples please." I pleaded and heard him sighed.
"You're such a baby when you're sick." He grunted.
"Just like you." I snapped back. I felt him starting to massage my temples and I closed my eyes.
I continued to massage her temples and watch my movie. I didn't realise the time passing by until mom came into the living room.
"She is sleeping." She whispered looking at Savannah.
"Yeah, on me," I said and she chuckled.
"We'll let her sleep. I'll bring your dinner here." Mom said and I nodded.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
