《Reincarnated as an SCP To Save the World》Chapter 32 "Arrived At The Last Floor"

He experienced a familiar sensation after touching SCP-2006. He had experienced the same warm sensation when he had previously touched SCP-415. However, when he previously attempted to touch SCP-019, there was absolutely no warm sensation.
William did this to see how he would replicate any SCP anomalous ability because he might need to have direct contact with the target in order to do it. But it appears that there are some additional requirements that he is unaware of.
SCP-2006 understood what William had just said. He had changed his appearance from a gorilla wearing a helmet with two antennae to a generic clown that you would find in a recreational park.
He then walked his way out where his containment room was located and just stood in front of it, "How about this? Is this scary enough?" He waved his hand to both Grace and William to let both of them know.
"You're doing great! It is pretty frightening from here. People would have a hard time facing you since they will see you as a threat that will haunt them from that distance!" said William as he shouted to SCP-2006.
When it came to handling SCP-2006, Grace could only play along with William's plan and could do nothing more than hopelessly shake her head. She was a little shocked that he would be aware of this knowledge, but she didn't appear to care too much.
She has no issues with it as long as it works and helps them to escape from this situation.
Seeing that it was safe enough for them to continue while making sure SCP-2006 wasn't going to wander around the area, he looked at Grace, "We should continue on our mission. SCP-2006 confirmed that they had already passed this area."
Grace nodded, "Got it."

William looked at SCP-2006, that was just standing from afar, and shouted, "Hey, SCP-2006!"
"Yeah?" he replied.
"Keep standing there! Because I told some of my friends to follow my lead, and you'll be meeting them shortly, this is the part where we do a little bit of trolling to them. When you see them, just keep your stance as menacing as possible. That should scare them really quickly!"
SCP-2006 waved his hand towards William, "Understood! I'll wait and scare them right away!"
Seemingly everything was under control. Both Grace and William continued their mission and started running in the direction of the stairs leading to the third level of the Keter containment site.
Grace thought it would be a hostile SCP that they would have a hard time dealing with, but it was pretty easy to handle SCP-2006. Like convincing a child to do something even with the slightest effort of lie would work.
She then asked William as they were running through the hallway, "How would you know that it was going to work?"
"What do you mean by that?" William replied.
"You know, that SCP-2006 would easily believe a lie that was so obvious and worked against him?"
William didn't say anything but just shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know either. SCP-2006 had always been like that. He had a problem discerning whether our reactions were real or not. Best to just go with the flow or else."
"Or else what?"
"Something bad, I suppose. The anomalous ability that he had is something not to mess with."
He then took out the walkie-talkie from his pockets and turned it on. He tried to connect the channel that Dr. Erik had prepared for them before to report about their situation and encounter with SCP-2006.

"Dr. Erik, this is Alpha One coming to report. Over." said William to the walkie-talkie in his hands.
After a few seconds, there was a response, "Come in, Alpha One. Dr. Erik is talking. What's your situation now?"
"Nothing substantial other than we had just encountered SCP-2006 along our path. We've taken the initiative to take care of him on our own, and he is now currently residing in his own containment room as we told him to."
Dr. Erik was a bit surprised that such SCP was being let out by the Chaos Insurgency. He breathed a sigh of relief that everything was under control since he knew what would happen if SCP-2006 were being let out to see the real horrors of the world.
"Good work. We didn't expect that they would release SCP-2006 out in the wild like that. It was for them to do that. But how did you know how to handle him?"
William sipped his teeth for a moment, "Well, I just happen to know about it. Let's just leave it with that."
There was a slight doubt in Dr. Erik's mind, but he didn't really give a thought about it as long as they could handle the situation knowing they were in an emergency.
"Any other thing you find along the way?" he asked.
"Yes, SCP-2006 told us that a few of Chaos Insurgency members were passing through the Keter containment area, but there is one person that seemed not from the Chaos Insurgency, and we don't know who that might be."
Dr. Erik narrowed his eyebrow and asked, "Another intruder?"
"It could be. SCP-2006 only told us that the person was old-looking and wearing an orange jumpsuit. Any idea who that might be?"
There are a lot of assumptions about who that person might be. Having one intruder from another organization is already problematic for them, and now they have to deal with another one at the same time?
Was he a member of the Chaos Insurgency? or was he a person who used this incident as an opening to break into the Foundation site? It was simply overwhelming since there were too many things going on at once.
Dr. Erik replied, "We don't know for sure. There are a lot of damages done to the Foundation that we don't have all the answers for now. If that person's goal is also to steal some of the SCP objects within the area, you have to take care of them too."
Hearing this, Grace and William were a bit swamped. Since it seems that there are more enemies for them to be taken care of. William sighed as if he had another choice, and he was already down this deep.
"Understood." answered William.
Seemingly that was the case, William turned off his walkie-talkie once again, and both of them started to quicken their pace towards their destination. They took the stairs leading to the bottom level of the Keter containment area.
There it was, they had reached the last level of their destination, and their goal was at the end of the hallway. It was quiet, too quiet. But that doesn't stop both of them from finally going to SCP-582's containment room.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
