《Izuku's Game》Ch 4 - Slime Forest

Izuku landed on his feet, thankfully, but it was a hard landing that almost immediately put him to his knees. After a moment, Izuku's dizziness subsided, and he looked around.
The view of a forest made him remember what the tab said. Level one - Slime Forest. He'll be fighting slimes, without a doubt, but he wondered if there were different kinds. Is there going to be a boss fight after? The boy looked around warily. He should have checked if he could leave before he came in here... Quickly, the boy popped up the help tab. He typed in. "How can you leave a dungeon?" The screen loaded before an answer appeared. "Go into the menu, click on the quest tab, click on the respective dungeon and there will be an option to leave."
With a huff, the boy Exited out of the help tab and started walking through the forest quietly. He didn't know if slimes could smell, so he headed toward the wind.
It really wasn't long until the boy saw his first smile. It was light green and was about the size of a cat. Izuku hid behind a tree before the boy used Analyze on it.
Stats Name: Slime (acid) HP: 15 MP: 10 Stat points - 0 LV: 1 STR: 2 DEX: 5 CON: 4 INT: 2 WIS: 1 CHA: 3
Izuku narrowed his eyes. The slime has an ok Dex, but poor Str... it has it's MP unlocked, and Izuku had to wonder what it can do with that.
After a while of watching the slime go about its normal life, the boy got himself ready, holding the Staff with careful and steady hands. According to Analyze, the staff has an ATK power of 5 and the durability of 10. Izuku didn't know what to compare that to, so he hoped it was fine.

With a quiet breath, Izuku jumped out when the creature was closest, swinging down at an angle toward a stone-like sphere floating in the middle of the creature. The boy managed to hit the stone head on, but the thing only cracked a little and the rest of the creature was unscathed as Izuku expected. The stone was how you hurt the thing everything else was slime that melded back together if you hit through it.
The blob wiggled slightly before it hopped up and spit a steaming pile of acid at Izuku. The boy dodged to the side and forward at the obvious attack and swung forward once more while it was recuperating. He hit the stone in a glancing bash, but it only cracked it some more. it looked one hit away from falling apart. Analyzing it once more, he realized that the slime was five HP away from death and its MP was at eight. That ball of acid cost two MP... good to know.
The boy rolled away just in time to dodge most of the next acid splash, but some got in his shoe, making a light sizzling noise as it ate through it slowly. One last lime, Izuku Swung forward and smashed the stone into three pieces. The slime melted and was absorbed into the ground, leaving one thousand Yen ($7.70) and a vial of Acid behind.

You have leveled up!
You are now level three.
Izuku panted lightly before walking over to the money and acid, picking them both up. The money looked real... He huffed and put it into his inventory only for it to show up at the bottom displaying how much money I had. It didn't take up an inventory space thankfully.
The boy glanced at his staff, finding that it was in peak condition, he continued forward.

It was after another Acid Slime and another 5 XP, one thousand Yen ($7.70), and another vial of acid that he found a plant slime. It seemed to have vines coming out of its stone, wriggling in the air. Izuku thought that the best strategy was to move around a lot and do hit and run strategy as the vines would probably need to wind back a lot to do any actual damage. It was also level one.
Izuku thought through his simple strategy one more time before he jumped forward, slashing down at the things stone, it took a heavy hit, cracking down the center, but didn't split. The slime reared back and threw its vine forward much faster than I expected and I got hit in the arm as I tried to dodge. A gash dripped a little blood, but not much, and I quickly hit it one more time while it winded up for another it, shattering the stone.
I was left the same one thousand Yen ($7.70) and 5 XP, but this time I received a very mild healing potion. I looked down at my wound before shrugging, deciding not to waste it just yet. Even a little healing can go a long way at the right time.
The boy slaid two more slimes, one at level 2, and got a point in Dex, before he once more encountered a new type of slime. This one was fiery red with embers floating off of it. it was level two. Izuku didn't know if he could win against it, as his health was 18/25 at the moment from the other fights. He hardened his heart. He'll need to take risks to better himself.
The Fire slime seemed to leave burned grass wherever it moves, and Izuku was a little worried about breaking his wood staff with the heat, but he moved forward anyway, Using the same first move as all the others. a downward swing. The thing rippled and twisted to bounce toward Izuku, and the boy jumped back to make sure he didn't get burned like the staff. It looked to have three or four more swings before it would be unusable. He'll have to finish it before then.
The boy swung his staff sideways toward the stone, it hit, but the slime splashed onto the boy's arm, leaving a pretty bad burn. He'll have to check it out later.
Anyway, the stone didn't shatter, but it looked pretty close. As the slime jumped forward this time, the boy met it with a side swing, stepping out of the way as the Stone shattered and the slime turned liquid and kept moving forward, past Izuku.
You have gained 10 XP.

You are now level four.

8 194A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
