The people inside the house shivered, the coldness that came out of nowhere was scary when they saw the large face they thought that they are dead. Then the tables turned and that large face was dead! The cold came from nowhere and it also dissipates into nothingness apart from the pieces of the large face.
"The monster is scary! I have to get out here!"
Leo thought to himself, he kept looking at Selena and the latter's eyes were bright. He turned his head to Brandon and hesitate for a few seconds before whispering, "We have to get out here, didn't you see how that monster died? I'm sure monsters are hiding here."
Brandon slowly nodded his head, who could explain why that large face monster suddenly died? and who could explain that sudden coldness?
The two were lost in their thinking, on the back Selena was amazed, she knew that the house protected them.
But the moment she heard her brother, her face changed.
"We will get out of this village, we will head to the city."
Brandon at this time opened his mouth, "I agree, in the city, there are a lot of people there so it's safe."
The two boys beside Leo also nodded their heads, Kate didn't move she was just staring at Selena.
"Why!? this house protected us, this place is much safer compared to the city!"
Facing her sudden outrage the boys didn't know what to say, Leo gave a loud sigh before staring at her eyes. "We will leave this village, I am doing this for your safety!"
Selena didn't reply, her head was facing the ground and her thoughts unknown.
. . .
Second floor.
Marcus was surprised by the sudden notification, 4000 xp? that's a lot!
Marcus can't wait any longer as he stared at the interface screen in front of him.

Marcus thought to himself, when he looked at the current points he slowly shakes his head. It is not enough, he swipes to the next screen and he found out that he could swipe again!
Without hesitation, Marcus swipes the interface screen in front of him, and the words on its change.
[ Class System.

Marcus stared for a few seconds and the expectation in his eyes slowly disappeared replace by cold eyes. No class!?
Marcus didn't know what to say, if there is no agility in his stats that is still acceptable, but no class? class is essential in getting stronger!
Marcus calmed himself and stared at the tree standing not far away from him, then he saw those people in his house outside and they have bags on their backs.
"What are they planning to do?"
Marcus thought as he kept staring at them.
. . .
"All are prepared, foods and water, let us depart."
Brandon said before starting to walk away from the house, behind him were his men and Leo and the two boys as well Selena and Kate.
They were leaving this Deep Sky Village, Brandon was looking forward to this departure, the city was large and there should be strong people! Fighting intent appeared in his eyes.
Leo was inwardly laughing, he finally convinced his sister to leave that strange house, no matter where they go it's fine as long they are far away from that house!
Selena's eyes were dim, she turned her head and looked at the old house, the house that protected them.

"Bye."
She said to herself before following her brother, soon their figure blurred as they walked out of the village.
. . .
Marcus stared at them as their figures disappeared, yet he was still staring at them and there was a blank look on his face. So they decided to leave this village? maybe because there are monsters here and they couldn't handle it anymore.
The feeling of aloneness slowly crept into his heart, Marcus sighed and stared at the tree, "We are alone again."
. . .
Days passed and Marcus didn't move from his current position, as the boredom feeling increase his eyes were slowly turning cold.
[ Inteligence: 51 - 52 ]
[ Intelligence: 52 - 53 ]
[ Intelligence: 53 - 54 ]
[ Intelligence: 54 - 55 ]
The notifications kept spamming, the intelligence stat was increasing every second from 50 until 100 never stopping. The surroundings turned cold in an instant as if it became an ice house, Marcus's eyes were so cold it could make other's hearts jump in fear.
The boredom feeling that was slowly expanding in him stopped when a shout echoed, "We finally found a village, we will live here from now!"
"Yes, chief!"
"Yes, chief!"
"Yes, chief!"
. . .
The chief was an old man but his eyes were full of wisdom, he had a walking stick by his side. He was leading the people behind him as they stepped into the village, the chief stared at the surroundings and found it quiet.
"There is no one here apart from us."
The chief thought as he continued to walk, after a few minutes he turned his head and looked at a large number of people behind him.
They came from Two Dust Village. When strange monsters appeared they are shocked but when they killed them they became excited!
Killing a monster would help you in getting stronger, if you are stronger you could do what you want and others would obey and do whatever you command!
The chief remembered something as his face turned pale, he looked at the people and said, "This Deep Sky Village will be ours starting today! Go and choose your house and those strong people go and hunt some boars."
This village was covered in forest and it was dangerous yet filled with opportunity, he looked as the people began to move. He strolled into the village and arrive at the granary.
Upon stepping inside it was as he expected. There is no rice, he turned his head and found that this place is not bad and they can gather their strength and when it's strong enough they would attack the other village!
. . .
"There are people?"
Marcus' cold eyes slowly turned into calmness, the coldness in the surroundings disappeared as if they didn't appear, the boredom feeling receded until new thoughts appeared in his mind.
Since that chief's voice is loud he could make out what he's trying to say.
"They came from another village and now they claim this is their village now?"
Marcus slowly smiled, an interesting look flashed in his eyes.

8 164Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return

Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
8 225The One Moon
Moonhan is a regular 16 year old that has gone through a lot. One day, he takes a walk and witnesses 6 boys dancing and singing. Moonhan steps into the idol world after being scouted. However, Moonhan's life doesn't just revolve around being an idol. He goes through many different situations that helped him mature and working towards being an idol is just one of them. This is the story of Moonhan and his story to being a top idol. The story is inspired by the Kpop world and is totally fictional. There may be some song titles and group name's that are used by Kpop and are not made by me. For example, Icon's song "Why Why Why" is inspired by the Kpop group Ikon's song "Why Why Why" in my story. Other group names and song titles used in my story are all original. When not, I will mention in authors notes.
