《we got reincarnated to be parents》chapter 7: a what gauntlet?

They both looked at each other with a warm smile but deep inside they both shared the same thought.
"God, that was cringe as hell".
But they both decided to not ruin the moment and keep it to themselves and go find the souvenir shop and the artifact.
their city was quite a big one and attracted many tourists, so there were many souvenir shops around. 7 to be exact that were relatively close to each other.
....
After getting to the closest shop to their location they stood at the doorstep and closed their eyes to tighten their senses and activated the skill.
"magic sense"
As soon as they activated the skill, a wave of magic was sent from their body that covered the entire interior of the shop.
If the wave collides with any magic power that wasn't their own they would instantly know the location of that magic.
The artifacts looked like ordinary fake weapons that transform using the power supplemented to it by the power users so this was the only way to find them.
Unfortunately, the wave did not direct any magic power in the shop which meant that the artifact wasn't there.
"damn it" Asahi cursed.
"calm down there are still 6 more stores, and we need to get to as many as we can today," Yui said trying to calm him down.
"Yeah I'm sorry, we should get going"
They were disappointed, but they couldn't just there and keep sulking, so they went to the next shop.
They spent the rest of the day searching for the artifacts in souvenir stores.
The sun was setting and they only searched4 shops, sadly they didn't find anything in them which was extremely demotivating.
"man, this sucks," said Asahi "were at the 5th one already, and we're still haven't hound anything

"it alright we still have time," said Yui "we look in this shop and keep looking tomorrow if we don't find anything"
"fine!"
They walked towards the shop and stood at the doorstep.
"ok, one more time," said Asahi while closing his eye.
The wave of magic exited their bodies and explored the entire shop. But this shop was quite different from the other ones, its interior was much bigger than the others and it had a lot of rooms.
They were beginning to lose hope for this shop when the wave suddenly was interrupted by magic that wasn't Yui's or Asahi's.
They felt it instantly and opened their eyes from shock at the same time, they looked at each other.
"We found it," they both said as they ran into the shop to look for the artifact. The signal came from the back of the shop so they rushed to the source.
The store looked like a bizarre at an Arabian country. Quite a weird shop to place in an Asian country.
They noticed that the store was empty while they were running through it.
As soon as they got close to the source of the magic a notification appeared.
ting*
"compass?" said Asahi with a puzzled look on his face.
While they were wondering what the system meant by that 3 lines of light appeared in front of them, almost as if it was carving a path of them.
"3 lines, 3 directions, 3 artifacts," said Yui "let's split up, ill take the left".
"Alright I'll take the right"
they both split up and took different directions.
Asahi could feel the power of the signal getting stronger as he got closer to it, he knew that this artifact wasn't like the artifact he saw in his past life.

While those artifacts' magic felt a bit off and kind of polluted this artifact's magic was pure and clean, the difference in quality was like night and day.
He walked until he found a room closed off by red curtains, he knew that the artifact was behind those curtains. He pushed the curtains away with his hand and a huge burst of mana that coved his body with goosebumps hit him.
He shook his head to get rid of the feeling and saw the artifact.
It was a pair of black gauntlets with sharp claws at the fingertips.
