waking up, he finds himself in a weird but familiar room, but then his senses started to get excited, the smell of fresh air that hasn't touched his nose in years the sound of birds chirping, a sound that was almost impossible to come by in the hell he was in. he was feeling strange it was a feeling that he had forgotten but he knew that this feeling wasn't bad. this place he's in was different from the world he was in before, that world was filled with the smell of blood, the screams of dying people, and the screeches of the monsters.
Asahi finally recognized his old room, the room from his childhood, a time that he missed so much. he was overwhelmed by the happiness to the point where he couldn't hold back the tears. but it wasn't long before the thought of Yui crossed his mind, he wiped the tears off and rushed to find his phone, he searched everywhere but he eventually found it, it was a long time since he used a phone, but he could remember something as easy as calling someone. he quickly called her number and waited nervously for her to pick up while repeating 'please remember' in his mind. it was taking an unusually long time for her to pick up, Asahi began to worry, cold sweat running down his face. his mind started to create countless scenarios where something bad happens to her.
Asahi couldn't stop his mind from running wild, a really bad habit he couldn't get rid of.
'come on please pick up!' Asahi's heart was about to burst, but then he hears a sound beyond the phone saying
"Hello?"
Asahi collected himself quickly:
'YUI! TELL ME YOU REMEMBER, PLEASE!'
there was a short moment of never wracking silence before Yui responds with:

Asahi lets out a sigh of relief falling on top of his bed
'few, I thought you were a goner'
"stop thinking I'm dying every time I'm not with you "
'i can't help it ok?'
"Well anyway, this is kind of a weird situation we're in "
'yeah. it's basically a second chance to live without regrets '
"yeah, but we don't have much time before the disaster starts, it'll start in 1 year "

"oh, I used this magical item I got from the gods that tell me the time that's left before the disaster"
'WOW! that sounds amazing'
"That was a joke I checked the calendar "
'oh, yeah that makes sense now '
Asahi felt embarrassed for falling into her trap, but they ended up laughing it off together, they seem to have relaxed after hearing each other's voice. but both of them remembered something really important, something they missed a lot, they both screamed 'PARENTS' at the same time, threw their phones and stormed to find their parents
