A very loud noise has been played inside the room.
Austin were trying to familiarize what was that noise. It's a very loud music. He can't really figure it out. He even lend his ears closer to hear it clearly but he really can't distinguish what noise was all about.
"Does my father having a sound trip by himself?" Austin thought himself while he was still lending his ears on the door.
"Why didn't he even bother to call me so we cod do it both." He continues while he was thinking what has his father been really inside.
"DL Command NOW!" Jack shouted mixing up the loud music with his loud voice.
"Okay Jack right away." DL command responded and then the music stops and changes into classical one.
Jack turned around to take a look at his wife who were still in bed and still trying to loosen the chain in her hand. She was rages while her face was changes into a wild boar ready to attack if she loosen her tied on her.
But when she hears the slow music that has been replaced, she calmed down. And then she gets back to how she used to be. Like she was not paying attention to what is in front of her.
Meanwhile outside the room.
Austin tried to hold the knob of the door and tried to turned it but he couldn't opened it.
"It was locked." Austin exclaimed while trying to turned the knob consecutively.
Jack take a glance to the door when he heard a clicking noise of a knob that has been forced to open. He stare at it and notice the knob of the door were moving. He thought that someone from the outside was trying to brake it.
Jack slowly walks his way near the door when he thought that his wife was already calmed down. He moves slowly not to make a single noise so he could have the possibility to find out who is outside that door. He already had an idea that it was his son but still wanted to make certain of himself.

When Austin notice that it was locked. And the music inside the room suddenly stop. He immediately turn away his ears from listening.
"The music stops." He exclaimed as he frowned.
"Did I heard it right? Dad was talking to someone or was he reprimanding someone? Or maybe commanding someone?" Austin talked to himself and he started to get confused.
He can't totally recognize the loud noise he heard from that door and couldn't figure out if his father was talking to someone or if he is commanding someone. He was in the state when he saw the knob turned. His eyes widened.
Jack slowly move his hand to the door knob and he slowly turned it.
Austin doesn't know what to do and where to hide himself. He just quickly run away to the kitchen.
When Jack pull the knob of the door to open it. He saw nothing outside. He even take a single step to make sure he didn't miss. And then he even turned his head to look on his left side and then to the right side but there is no one.
"He really hide very secretly." Jack exclaimed as he was slowly closing the door of the room.
Austin not far away from the room saw that. He saw his father looking for someone and he knows that someone was him. He was relieved where he was hiding because the minute his father was about to open the door he already move away from the room.
Austin applied his back to the wall and sighed.
It was early in the morning at the lab.
Jack just woke up and sit on his bed yawning. He thought about last night. He never had the chance to confront his son about last night because he just rather want to forget about it. He stand up got his rob and went outside of his room. Walk his way to the room of his son.
Austin was still asleep when Jack enters his room.
Jack stand up near Austin's bed and stare at his sleeping son.

"I know you had many questions my son. But you will all know it at the right time." He whispers as he was slowly out his palms in his head to caress his hair.
"Soon my son, you will." Jack exclaimed.
He left his son a note in the table beside his bed. He didn't want to let him awake since he will surely be insisting on going to the salon which by far Jack wouldn't allowed it. He step outside from his room and went back to his room.
Jacks plan for that day was to go to the Fire Station to check on something. He drove his way down there.
He reach the location just to be amazed because he found out that it's a big station of Fire Department.
"Woah! I never expected this." Jack exclaimed while taking a glance at the high rise building of Fire Station in front of him.
He step outside from his car and walks his way inside. He thought of looking at those fire truck location because he needed one of it. He was pointing his gun when he started to walk inside to locate a fire truck.
It was easy for him to find it. When he fi ally saw it he slowly put away his guna nd inserted it in his waist.
"Finally." Jack exclaimed while looking vividly the fire truck in front of him.
He walk circling to it to make sure it was not damage nor maybe broken. And he nodded when he finally checks that it was on good condition. Except for the engine of course.
"You will be of great use to my plan. " Jack smile while putting his fingers to his chin looking at the truck in front of him.
"If I am not mistake this is thirty meters." Jack exclaimed as he was trying to calculate the measurement of the ladder of the truck.
"It will be really good I think." He said while nodding his head.
Jack walk his way to the drivers seat and hold to try to open it but he can't. It was locked and it doesn't have a key. He tried to peek inside to look on the drivers seat if there is a key inserted but he didn't see any.
"Now that is a problem." He said while going down from the truck.
He was thinking of any other way to let the truck start. He walk around to look for something that he can use to smash the window of the truck. He saw an axe not far away from those trucks. He reach for it and carry it.
He was about to smash it when he suddenly stop for a while.
"It will make a noise if I will smash it with this." He said while he take a glance to the axe he was holding.
He glance around the area if there are any possible attackers (living dead) who will suddenly attack him. He tried to wander around his eyes and listen to any noise made by those attackers. But it seems it is his day because he didn't heard any sign of them.
He raise the axe and smash the window of the driver seat. He did it twice and then he reach for the lock of the door and opened it.
He sat on the driver seat and tried to look for a key. He search everywhere but he can't find any keys at all.
"Now what?" He said talking to himself.
He thought of something and reaches the wire below the steering wheel. He pulled it and he holds it in his right hand the other wire and left hand for the other wire. He was hoping it will work.
He tried to rubbed each other and it created a spark. He tried it once more and then it suddenly start the engine of the truck.
"Woah!" He exclaimed as he was successfully started it.

The Way Ahead
What do you do when you don't fit in? Edwin never really felt many connections to other people, but as a physics student, that was fine. He didn't really need it, anyway. He was content to peel back the mysteries of the universe... not that there were many left to find. Modern-day research was just too well-established, too well-trodden for any single enthusiast to make any significant headway. But that doesn't apply to other worlds. Not ones where magic and Skills run rampant, where well-defined roles and Classes dominate much of society with little room for novel experimentation from its residents. That kind of world would be perfect for an overeager, newly-minted Alchemist to make his mark. Things are never that easy, though. The Way Ahead is a very slice-of-life story following the story of someone trying to find his place in a world that doesn't know what to do with him. Expect lots of science, lots of alchemy, a few sarcastic quips by the System, and lots of exploration involving the world, self-discovery, and above all, science. After all, further research is always required. Updates every other day at 9 AM PST. Congratulations! For writing a story during the month of November, you have unlocked the Royal Road Writathon Participant path!
