The bright sunlight goes through a hole at the top of the wagon. I see so a day has already pass after leaving my hometown and went towards the city of Eyinas. I think the coachman notice that I have awoken for he suddenly said “Were almost there”.

I went at the back of the wagon to see what the outside looks like. It’s a lush green plain land and some great mountains far beyond the view.

The wagon suddenly stops. The force of it suddenly stopping thrown me forward the front of the wagon hitting my head on one of the barrels.

I can see the coachman talking to a gatekeeper.

The gatekeeper notices me and ask the coachman “who’s this child”

“Oh yes, I forgot to mention about this child. His name is Gabriel the son of Riel and Gabi”

“Riel the retired captain of the magic swordsman division?!”

“Yes, that’s him”

“Well he did say that he will be resigning after his wife give birth to their child. He was the best magic swordsman, but has a strict training regime. It is said that the units under him beg the general of the army to switch them to another division. It’s too bad he resigned there’s been a lot of monster activity recently.”

“The adventure’s guild usually takes care of them, right?”

“They do, but sometimes there are some adventurers that can’t handle the monster and get injured some even died while fighting”

“I see”

“Were getting off topic. Time to stop this chit-chat. Give me the document so that you guys can enter” said the gatekeeper to the coachman as he stretches out his hands towards the coachman. The coachman checks the backpack near him and takes out a paper from the backpack. The coachman then handed the gatekeeper the paper which seems to be the document he was asking for. The gatekeeper seems to use a stamp on the paper.

“You guys may enter now” said by the gatekeeper as he handed back the paper to the coachman.

After a while the coachman stops the wagon and said “I need to stop here to sell my goods, just wait for me I can take you to where you want to be”

“Thank you, but this place is good enough” I said to him as I get out of the wagon with the items that were prepared to me.

“Goodbye then and have a good life” said the coachman.

“You too may you have safe journey back home” I said to him as I walk away.

I walk around and reach what seems to be the city center. There’s a fountain on the middle and a lot of stalls selling from food to items around the area. The food of the food stalls has some that I am familiar with and some that completely came from a fantasy world, well this is a fantasy world after all. Like the skewer orc meat, taste exactly like pork a little chewier than the average pork that’s for sure. The stalls that sells items ranges from a luxury items to what seems to be monster parts. There’s a lot of buildings from 1 story building to 4 story building. Now that I mention about buildings.

” Where the fuck is the adventure’s guild building!!!”

“Hey, watch your language” a female voice said to me

What an angelic voice it’s only fitting for the most beautiful woman (even though I haven’t seen her) and she shall be my heroine. I need to give her the best first impression. I need to face her with my best smile and with that smile of mine she will fall in love to me. I smile and look to where voice came from.

The once smile on my face fell from despair after seeing her…no that’s not a she that’s for sure it’s a… HE!! It was not just any normal looking guy. It’s far from being called normal that’s for sure. This person or should I even call it a person; his muscles are far beyond normal. The best body builder on earth would be put to shame for it can’t even compare to his physics. The veins on the muscles is twitching as if it can explode at any moment and what’s worse is that his wearing nothing but an underwear. This must be a mistake there might be a beautiful girl behind him, that’s probably where the angelic voice came from.

“What are you looking at?” the man asks with the same angelic voice that I heard.

……. WHAT THE HELL?! It really came from that beast. The angelic voice that I thought came from the most beautiful girl. Actually, came from a big muscle beast.

“Hey I was asking you a question” the man spoke once more.

“Uh, I wasn’t looking at you I just happen to saw an interesting thing right behind you” I replied

“Hmm, really what’s that thing behind me?” he said to me, as he turns around.

I saw something worse. The underwear doesn’t cover his back it was fully exposed, but I can see like a thread coming from the crack, as if the thread trying to hold on the piece of his clothing so it would not fall. I believe in you thread-sama you can do it; don’t break you are the only hope for me to not see what is in front.

“Guess the thing you are looking for is now gone. I didn’t see anything special or anything that interesting. I don’t know maybe it’s the best thing for you, but not for me.” The man said as he faces me once more.

*snaps*

I heard something snap. As I look at the man, his piece of clothing is still there. Thank God, guess it wasn’t thread-sama.

I forgot I need to go to the adventure’s guild, but where is it. Guess I’ll ask this man, but first I shall exchange greetings.

“I am sorry for using inappropriate words. Let me introduce myself. The name’s Gabriel, it is a pleasure to meet you” I said to the man and stretch my hand out to him as a sign for a handshake.

“It’s fine I just don’t really like hearing those kinds of words if I am around. The name’s Andrew” the man stretches his hand towards me and shakes my hand, but suddenly his piece of clothing fell.

Huh a ‘GreatSword’.

I feel like my minds a bit dizzy and darkness soon follows.

“Hey, are you alright” an angelic voice said to me. No that’s probably Andrew. I need to prepare myself I might faint once more from the intense pressure of his ‘GreatSword’. Rest in Peace thread-sama, even if you are gone thread-sama give me the strength to face Andrew ‘s ‘GreatSword’.

“Yes, I am alright, Andrew” I said while my eyes are still close

“Oh my, I am not Andrew” the angelic voice said.

It’s not Andrew?! Then that means it’s a girl and that means she going to become my heroine. I don’t care if she is not my dream girl anymore. I just want something to get my mind off Andrew’s ‘Greatsword’.

I opened my eyes to see someone with a slim body. The color of the hair is black, covering one of her eyes and the eyes are color green. It’s a female!!!, but looking at her chest its flat as a board. Well flat is justice I suppose. She is wearing a white long sleeves polo with a black vest and a long black skirt.

This maybe it, my heroine. She is beautiful.

Alright I need to introduce myself to her. I opened my mouth and said

“Hello my name’s Gabriel, what is this fair maiden name”

“Please don’t call me a fair maiden. The name is Ashley”

“Ashley such a beautiful name for a fair maiden like you”

“Please stop calling me a fair maiden, Sir Gabriel”

“Then what am I supposed to call you fair maiden”

“Just call me Ash”

Such a humble lady, she will be a fine heroine.

I look around to see that I am inside of a building. I am on a room that has chairs, sofas and a lot of what seems to be fruit.

Ash notice me looking at the fruits and said

“Oh, are you perhaps interest in our product called ‘ananab’ it’s a sweet fruit if you remove the yellow thick skin, inside it is the most tastiest and sweetest fruit that I have ever eaten”

“Ananab?”

“Yes, it’s a great fruit well to be honest it’s not our product we just send adventurers to gather the fruits” Ashley said and gets a sample of the product from the basket

Bloody hell that’s just a banana with a reverse name!

“Uh, no thanks I had my fill just a while ago”

“Oh, I see” her expression from being jolly becomes to an expression as someone who became depress

“Ok, ok I take five of these ananab” I said as I get the money on the sack given to me by my parents.

“That will be five small gold”

“Five small gold?!”

“Yes, five small gold” she smiles as she puts her hands out opens her palm waiting for the coins.

I hand her the five small gold coins. Well there goes half of my budget. I don’t know, but it felt like I was scam, but it is worth it to see my heroine beautiful smile.

“You may wonder why it’s quite expensive, it’s because the adventurers venture out to find the specific plant that grows this fruit. Oh, the plant that grows this fruit is a man-eating plant that use the fruit as a bait. That is why it’s quite expensive, because not many will risk their life for just copper coins or bronze coins, we usually pay them silver coins that can almost amount to a one small gold coin. Well if you ask me the taste of the fruit is worth the trouble, but of course I am just the consumer not the one who harvest the fruit so I don’t really know the danger it can affect the harvester.”

“A MAN-EATING PLANT?!”

“Yeah, most of the fruit here are from a man-eating plant not just the ananab”

This really is a fantasy world. Oh, wait now that I am fully aware of my surroundings where am I exactly? Maybe I should ask her.

“Um, now that I think of it where am I and how did I get here”

“Oh, right you were brought here unconscious. Well the answer to the first question is that you are at the adventurer’s guild staff room, for the second question you brought here by Andrew. You may be wondering why Andrew brought you here, well he heard you were looking for the adventurer’s guild so when you fainted, he just brought you here.”

Oh, thank you Andrew, because of you I meet this fair maiden. I am truly in your debt. Wait how did he brought me inside the adventurer’s guild staff room. That means he is a very important person for him to enter the adventurer’s guild staff room to just bring me inside and left me there. Now I am curious what exactly privilege does he has on the adventurer’s guild. Might as well ask Ash for that information. “Um, may I ask?”

“Hmm what is it?”

“How can Andrew just enter the adventurer’s guild staff room so casually and even leave me behind in this room?”

“Oh that, he is or should I say we are the adventurer’s guild master favorite or something like that. Well he kind of treats us as he’s precious children or something like that, I suppose. Oh, if you are wondering what my relationship with Andrew, he is my big brother “

Well that’s good news that the guild master treats them as his own children. Wait, Andrew is Ash’s big brother, how can a gorilla have such a beautiful little sister they don’t even look like they are related. Maybe as a step-brother, yeah that might be it.

“Ash, we need some help here!” A female voice came from outside the room.

“Hold on a second, I am coming!” Ashley replied.

Ash look at me and said. “They need my help out there. I’ll take my leave; you can go out of this room whenever you want”

“Alright I understand, I’ll leave once I fully rest up”

Ash hurriedly went out of the room. Leaving me behind.
