When Barry arrived at school, he got down from the car and trudged to the main entrance gate.

As he trudges all the way to his class, he enters the class and is greeted by Ethan, who is sitting at his own seat next to his.

When Barry entered the class, he was shocked when he noticed that the class teacher was now in class talking about something to the class.

This made him felt a chill down his spine as he wondered to himself.

"Why is the teacher here? When did she arrive? Is she giving an announcement to the class? If it is, I guess I must have missed out on a lot of details. I guess I will be punished for coming late into class, huh? But in order to know the truth, I guess I shall just have to find out."

He gathers up his courage and knocks on the door.

When the class teacher heard a knock on the door, she turns her head towards Barry.

He then said to the teacher. "Sorry teacher, for coming late into class. Is teacher giving an announcement for us regarding something? If it is, have I missed out on anything? May I enter the class?"

She then replied to him. "It's okay, Barry. You are just in time to hear the announcement. Please go to your seat and listen carefully."

Barry went to his seat as instructed and gets himself ready to hear what the teacher has to say.

The class teacher then begun to speak to the class.

"Okay, class. I have an announcement that I want to make. The announcement is about seating arrangement. Here I have made a list and a diagram of where you all will be sitting starting today. There shall be no objections about it. Understand? Now, change!"

Everyone nodded their head and began to change seats. And that is how it led to this situation.

When Barry reached his seat, he dropped his bag on his chair and then drops himself onto the chair in a rough manner.

Ethan saw Barry's actions and felt weird for a moment. So he asked Barry about why he was in a bad mood.

"Hey, Barry. What's up? Why do you seem to be in a bad mood today? Did something wrong happen to you? If it's okay with you, would you mind sharing it with me?"

"Oh... hey, Ethan. I'm fine. Nothing's wrong. It's okay, you don't need to mind me and my business. I'm just in a bad mood because I didn't get enough sleep, that's all."

"Oh, is that so? Then I guess that makes sense about your current mood today."

After that, their conversation ended as neither has anything to say for now.

Now that it is over, let me give a brief explanation on where he sits down in class and who are those in his surrounding.

Barry now sits down in the middle row from the right and second row from the front. Those who are now in his surroundings are Ethan, who sits next to him, and April, who sits in front of him. As for the others, such as Angelica, Alice and Brian, they remain at the same seat except for Andrew, who is now sitting three rows away from where Angelica sits down.

Not long after that, Ethan suddenly came up with an idea on how to break the silence. He decided to ask Barry some questions.

"Barry, may I ask you some questions?"

"Yes... what is it?"

"Where do you live?"

"Where do I live? I live at the row of houses near the shops of Beverly Hills, Penampang. How about you, Ethan? Where do you live?"

"I live somewhere along Jalan Kionsom, Inanam. So, next question is where did you study during primary school?"

"You mean... where I study during my primary years?"

"Yes, where?"

"It's located somewhere around Lintas area. You know the clinic at Luyang?"

"Oh, I see. My school is also somewhere along Jalan Kionsom. It's near the shops in Inanam."

"Okay... for the last question. When is your birthday, Barry?"

"My birthday? It's on January 24th. How about you?"

"Wow, your birthday is one month earlier than me!"

"Wow, I wasn't expecting that."

"Yeah, me too."

While both Ethan and Barry were chatting, they didn't realize that the class teacher was now inside the class and was also in the middle of talking to the class.

The class teacher focused her eyes on them and said to them with a smile on her face. "Wow... both of you had a great time talking with each other until you guys didn't realize there is a teacher in front of you."

Barry and Ethan just stood up and stayed still while keeping their mouths shut as they just looked at her in the eyes.

Her facial expression gradually turned from a fake smiling face to her actual emotion; anger.

Both of them trembled and quickly bows their heads to the class teacher while they said it together. "Sorry, Teacher Molly. Please forgive us for our misbehaviour. We promise not to do it again."

The class teacher then said to them. "Okay, please do not repeat the same mistake. Got it?"

Both of them nodded at the same time.

She then said to them. "Good."

The class teacher then took everyone's attendance on the class roster. Soon, the subject teacher enters and class finally begins.

After the previous subject has ended and the subject teacher exited the class, the English subject teacher then enters their class and the whole class stood up and bowed to the English subject.

After that, all the students were asked to sit down and English subject class starts.

During the English subject class, the English teacher asks everyone to open up their activity books to check whether or not if anyone did not do their homework.

After checking that everyone has done their homework, the English teacher then asks everyone to do practice on introducing themselves in front of the class in English language to practice English.

When everyone has tried their best to introduce themselves in English, the subject teacher then asks them to choose a partner to practice on introducing each other at their own seats.

At first, Barry thought of asking Ethan to be his partner for practicing to introduce in English language, but one of the boys in the class has already picked Ethan to be their partner.

He then continued to look around his surroundings to choose a partner for practicing introduction in English language.

When he noticed that the girl in front of him, April, was waiting for someone to pick her as a partner, he then called out to her. "Hey, hey."

April heard the noise and turned her head to find that Barry was calling her.

She then asked him about why he called her just now.

He then explained to her that since he has no partner and the same goes for her, so he picked her as his partner for the practice.

She was stunned speechless when she heard him said that.

But before she could even refuse his offer, the English teacher then came up from behind them and said to them. "Great! Both of you are the last pair to do this."

Both of them were now stunned speechless when they heard what the teacher said.

Left with no other choice, April had to accept Barry's offer and both of them did it with no hesitation.

After that was over, it was soon recess time.
